The only reason Korra is dealing with so much stuff is because of Aang. Now I love Aang as much as the next person, but almost everything Korra has had to deal with flows directly from Aang. Aang took away Yakone's bending, which in turn lead to Yakone raising his sons as bloodbenders. Aang and the Gaang pissed of that owl, and in turn the owl betrayed Korra. Aang and Zuko took Earth Kingdom land, which pissed off the monarchy of the Earth Kingdom. Now Korra has to scramble around to fix everything. 😂

We don't mean to compare but I think involuntarily we do because aang was the first avatar we saw. She is still a complex and well written character. It's like the NBA lol. Love the reaction, and one thing to remember, aang never had to fight anybody even close as powerful as Korra. Amon might have been the most powerful bender we've ever seen in the show that wasn't an avatar. Unilock literally turned into a dark avatar, and giant spirit monster, and now this group of absolute savages. Firelord ozai was nice with it, but loses to amon, unilock/vatu, and have a hard time against any one member of zaheers group. Gazan, or p'li, would have a better chance considering they would both have increased powers from the comet as well. Ozai without the comet, loses to every single major korra villain. The amount of shit aang goes through is nowhere near korra. And yall talking about the white lotus, but they're literally fighting zaheer?!🤣

As awful as she is, there is an unfortunate amount of sense for why the Earth Queen is the way she is. Knowing how her father was duped by Long Feng and the Dai Li for potentially DECADES, it would make sense that she would be WAY more hands-on with them than her father was.
