I think young suyin was voiced by toph's voice actor (I think)

Bob

Rezero?

jmv213

Lmao y’all kill me man 😂 jokes aside tho, Zaheer is just like an air bender historian, he always appreciated the culture. He just happened to be nasty fighter without bending so when he got air bending he’s a problem but he’s still raw.

DADEFUYE

that intro discussion is funny AF🤣🤣

Tekey

yo that intro killed me hard

User100

The next couple episodes are 🔥🔥

FxyssxlM23

"Let me show you what these feet can do." That killed me bro lmao

Skebaba

Was that actually his role in the organization, do we ever find out either in comics or something?

Rcl

I like how Toph and Aang and had flaws as parents. Aang being a monk he was never raised by his parents only teachers. Toph as an adult seems like a natural progression from how she acted in the first series.

Dominick Sermeno

When this episode first aired I REALLY thought that the reveal of the reason Lynn was so upset was going to be something like she just found out that she was pregnant with Tenzin's first kid and in the arrest Su hit her and forced her to miscarry and thus couldn't have kids from that point on. Wanting to spare his feelings she told Tezin that she didn't want to. It made sense with the way Lynn was looking at her family and kept stressing the number of children she had and started crying after meeting [Opal] the daughter she never had. But I guess that would have been WAY too dark even for this season.

Rcl

If lin actually brought out that torn up paper lmao.

Ghost

I kept the paper you bitch 😂😂😂😂

Rcl

I think Lin had a right to feel that way towards her sister. I know we should try to be fair to people after so long but in the real world people who steal cars and rob stores they tend to be hard to reform. Criminals like that tend to have little regard for others that's why people like them get harsh prison sentences.

Heavenly Demonic Emperor

Still the best season in Korra bro and that's it and guess what... Aang is still a badass lol

RavinFox .

SEE! First metal bending avatar. I didn't even remember she picked it up in this season at all but I knew it was one of the many potential techniques Avatars in the future could pick up-- point being made with how Aang didn't pick it up. The reset IS important. Also that intro was priceless.

Nevik

Nah Lin's sister is an ass. As a sibling I can understand being that annoyed by an irritating brother/sister who screws stuff up and gets no punishment for years, thus leaving me to take on everything. That Tenzin joke was her mask slipping a bit (even though obviously shes changed since her younger days). It's not cancel culture its just do retribution.

Devin B

Aang didn't pick up metal bending because Toph said he was a great bender but didn't have the talent for metal bending when she tried to teach him. If anything this proves that Korra has more talent as an earthbender than Aang did. Even without the reset future avatars still could have learned some skills from Korra and other avatars.

Devin B

This is my theory but maybe Zaheer was part of the Air Acolytes which was a group that was founded after Aang defeated Ozai which started off as an avatar Aang fan club. Aang decided to teach this group all the knowledge he had about the air nomads and you actually still see them on Air temple island now. It's possible that he learned the movements of an air bender from that group even if he wasn't an airbender.

Nicole

Fun Fact: Water arms woman (forgot her name lmao) is voiced by the same person who voiced Azula

Jjj.

I you read this guys! remember the first couple of episodes when ever tenzin was moving arround? there were always "monks" or people with airbender clothing around him, carrying his shit and stuff like that. So those are called "air acolytes" that are regular ass people who were aang´s fans and wanted to learn the ways of the air nomads from him. Aang teaches them the culture, all of it, spirituality, history, poetry, fighting, everything. The acolytes are basically air nomads that are non benders. (but they serve the air benders because of it). What I´m getting at, is that most likely Zaheer was an air acolyte. He follows the culture, he knows about their history, he may have even learned how to fight from the monks. That´s why is so nasty with his air bending, he was basically an air master (minus the bending) to begin with.

godUsoland

Zaheer is just an AIrbender Otaku who has walls full of AIrbender figurines, books and cosplay. Him gaining Airbending was just validation on a lifetime of fanboying.

Adam Vialpando

I think what Lin was so mad about was that Suyin never apologized. Changing into a better person when you were bad is all well and good, but you need to own up to your past actions. Suyin never took responsibility for her actions. When she was talking to Korra in ep 5 she said ahe left the city but didn't mention it was not by choice. And she also implied that the blame was solely Toph's for how she raised them. After all these years she was still avoiding responsibility. It was like saying she didn't really care about how Lin felt, it was all about her. That's a common problem people have. They do all these things but fail to realize how much a simple "I'm sorry" means. People just want to know that their concerns and feelings are actually being considered. Especially considering that Suyin succeeding and doing great things is what Lin wanted in the first place, so it must hurt that her genuine concern and love she had was basically rejected.

Adam Vialpando

Lets say you had a family member steal like $5000 from you because they were into bad shit. Twenty years later they are clean and living a good life. However, they never bring that or any of the other bad shit they did up again. The money is not the issue, the issue is that they don't acknowledge the pain they caused or even try to make up for it. I've known people like this on both sides. My uncle was a drug addict and criminal who caused a lot of pain. But nowadays he is clean with a wife and daughter and has apologized profusely and tried to make up for ot all. We don't accept his money because knowing he is doing fine and happy is enough. Meanwhile, my eldest aunt did similar things. Yet she never once took responsibility and never apologized even as she is doing well and is clean. She always avoids talking about it, yet likes to talk about how much she loves helping people. And she still hurts and takes advantage of people nowadays. It's not about how much time has passed or if a person changed. It's about if they did it for the right reasons.

Dimitri

Man Book 3 episode 8 is wild one, can't wait them to see the fight at Zaofu

Devin B

But it's not like Suyin never tried to apologize to Lin. Lin avoided her for 30 years so it was hard for her to even talk to her. Even Toph eventually talked things over with Suyin. Lin was in the right to feel the way that she did but you can't assume that someone is going to still act the same way 30 years later. People do change.

LeftyBellows

Zaheer by far the best avatar villain

Corey Pearson

All of these reactions were so great. I'm excited to see their reactions for the next three.

J Valentine

So it seems to me that the real reason Lin was so upset with her sister is that she completely shattered her perception of her mother. To that point Lin idolized her mother, she followed in her footsteps and did everything she could to please her. She butted heads with her sister because she was always trying to get their mother's attention in the opposite way, by acting out. What ended up happening was by being a criminal her sister basically forced Toph to make a decision she would have never made for anyone else. And until she finally got it out of her system she basically felt like her sister ruined their mother. That is some deep down pain. But I'm glad we actually see someone in a series overcome their past instead of letting it fester.

Jake Disarufino

Again zaheer was a martial artist so good that, according to zuko, one on one he could beat any bender he also liked air bending culture so he read their works and finally he spent 13yrs in prison meditating essentially air is a very spiritual art... so you take a martial arts prodigy and a great tactical leader he already loves the culture than you force him into a small room for 13yrs were he’s alone with his thoughts for weeks at a time than give him the most versatile and arguably most broken element that’s based on martial arts moves and inner peace and you have a problem not a true master but a prodigy and problem for sure

Davon Thomas

I honestly believe Sokka was the one throwing hands with Zaheer he probably did end up learning from Tai Lee and Suki to become a better martial artist as well as continued training in the way of the sword.

Hoodlum JoeBro

Next episode onward is just amazing. Book 3 at its best.

Shaw

Where's Re:Zero~~

Coco

Roshi should know by now that the reactions from this channel are like drugs to us.

Wheels29

That first 2 minutes had me beyond dead. Straight deceased and a half.

SalemSan

Not Wakanda lol

Travis

lupa in the intro "lay down nigga" LMFAOOOO i cant with him

Baren Nerab

I like that suyin looked like a dancer while she bended niceee.

Sheraya san

disagree about Lyn being cancel culture, she has a personal issue & unresolved feelings... its her sister, not a stranger who caused no direct harm to her. she also isn't trying to ruin her life over it. is she bitter? yes absolutely and she needs to let it go, but dont reduce Lyn to that Roshi lol all love

Unique

lmaooo the fact that no one stepped in stopping the fight. Opal really had to be the one to diffuse the situation.

Jimmy Martin

Toph like catch this Foot Action😂😂😂😂😂

Seido

BAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAH that intro convo

Djayyy

Zaheer is so proficient at airbending because he was a master martial artist before he got bending. Tie that in with the fact that he has always been obsessed with airbending culture (notice how he always talks about guru laghima) and you have a badass deadly airbender

Anonymous

Yeah, Book 3 for me is the best one.

Raymond Olivas

Yall know ming hua (no arms) is also voice of azula?

klah

lyn knew suyin was hanging with the wrong crowd and saw obvious stolen goods. as much for justice as she is she still turned a blind eye until she caught her in the act. got scarred by her sister, her mother went against her own ideals and covered it up. suyin skates on taking any responsibilty and most importantly never apologizes, just sends an invitation to come see her years later. not a sorry letter, not a physical visit to hash things out...just an invitation. Lyn needed to let the anger go for her own sake but people cut friends and family off for much less. I'll be leaving a similar comment in s4 for similar reasons

Madison Hagan

Lyn had every right to be angry and bitter. Su got away with everything including fucking up her face! And she never apologized.

Madison Hagan

If Lin hadn't been sick and barely able to walk, she'd have folded her sister no doubt.

Chris Hawking

Y'all & that intro conversation . Lol 🤣😂

Anonymous

you guys honestly don’t give korra enough credit. she goes through some shit

Ala’a Atari

I love how noone ever realizes Young Lin and Ming Hua are voiced by Azula's actress

Supplication of Perpetuity

My dad does acupuncture on wounded warriors. I've had it done on myself a few times and it really does work!

Junaius Stewart

I 100% Agree. I hate that shit in fiction when people do fucked up stuff to someone, dont apologize or admit wrong and then expect it to be forgiven just because time passed.

Melissa Corella Robles

"I think Bolin can do it too." he can do much much more than that <3

Anonymous

Well, like Su said, she tried to make up with Lin but she never came around.

Landon

the reason that zaheer went to the air temple island was to train not to track the avatar

Cassandra

The truth seer guy has the same voice as the library owl right?

Koosha Mokhbery

You probably looked it up by now lol but the owl was voiced by Hector Elizondo, whose in The last man standing with Tim Allen, the movie princess diaries and a ton of other things

Deadlyasskicker

Holy shit I almost got PTSD from Lupasan's random ass alarm....

Ryn

Is it just me, or does young Su sound like Ty Lee and young Lyn sound like Azula? I'm probably wrong, and I suppose I could just look up the voice actresses, but they do sound eerily similar

Dru1D

Actually, you're right about young Lin having the same voice actress as Azula, but young Su's VA is the same as Toph in ATLA

CJ Dennis

3:26 Did that twin just swallow a whole apple.

ok

17:25 ok i havent commented about this yet but this is getting annoying lol. korra is objectively an exteemely impressive avatar. she could bend 3 elements as a toddler. like what? i dont even get it anymore. she didn't "finally" need a "notch" or whatever

WeavyBoo

Wait... young Lyn and Suyin sound like they are voiced by Azula and Ty Lee's VA

Shawn Oxley

yeah she could bend 3 elements as a toddler and still got folded by non benders at like 17 despite all the time she had to train and she took a million Ls in the series roshis reaction is understandable tbh
