Mrs. Bradley talking to Hawkeye about Selim: “He is the pride of my life...”🤔🤨

This show, even on my fourth run of it, is still so fucking good. So glad Roshi is picking up all the pieces therein and enjoying it. Such a good ride. Can't wait until a certain dwarf in a certain flask! PS. Not to be 'that guy' but is anyone on their discord aware if they intentionally skipped Re:Zero yesterday?

Ok, this is a hot take, but hear me out. As crazy and conniving as Kimblee is, I do believe that his praise for Winry’s parents is somewhat genuine. Kimblee strikes me as a guy who values loyalty and duty given his military background. So, I totally see how he’d respect Winry’s parents dying in the line of duty because he himself has a strong sense of duty, loyalty and patriotism.

John FD Lobrano

The funny thing about Kimblee. He was lying about going there to assist the Rockbells. In the manga he was originally sent out to take them out since they were helping the Ishvalans. But, interestingly, he wasn’t lying about the respect he felt towards them. For believing what they did was right till the bitter end. Because as much of a psychopath this man is, the one thing he loathes more than anything, is a hypocrite.

Jason Serrano

Kimble respects people who have solid convictions and resolve.

Oh Pride, you damn thorn in the flesh

I love the Pride reveal. Threw me for a loop the first time I saw it.

Actually, in the manga, it's confirmed that his respect for them is genuine. His biggest value is staying true to one's ideals and practicing what you preach. Due to this, even if Winry's parents were going against the military to help Ishvalans, he respected them for dying doing what they believed in.

Wait wouldn't the first homunculus be Father so that would make Pride the second or is he saying he is the first that Father spawned?

Kimblee giving off Doflamingo vibes with his speech to Ed

Same. The hints are thrown from the start but without context or hindsight they're really easy to miss

MWAHAHAHAHA! I’m so glad you’re at this part. I was so excited to see your reaction.
