Well they didnt take the kid bcus he already had a pillar protector in kurona. Which was it just me that screamed wtf when they said hes the sixth pillar protector the same way Joker is to the Shinra and Charon to Haumea

I feel like you guys might have gotten the wrong idea with how Kurono stopped Nataku. Nataku didn't stop because his strength was acknowledged. He stopped because Kurono told him he can be weak. It was the first time a person, an adult, didn't pile expectations on him. There is no problem with him being weak because Kurono wants him to be. That was a major relief for him.

Haijima’s eyes were lighting up. Normally, his eyes are dead and cold, but when he saw Vulcan and heard about his idea, he was getting excited. Probably a fan of his family too. After they finished discussing the idea, his eyes reverted back.

Shinra is 0/2 in talking to and helping Pillars. Maybe I watch too much MHA, but for someone who wants to be a hero, he's pretty bad at saving people.

It could be a sign too that he "wants" a better solution than human sacrifice. He may want a better solution than what they currently have. But as things currently stand the Power Plant is their best option. One that he likely takes no enjoyment in. Vulcan has offered him a possible future that is more hopeful than what they currently have planned.
