And here we are at episode 8, this is going to be rough.

(By the way this is not a spoiler) Want to let you guys know, Because you keep mentioning the slime having the storm dragons presence. The reason he has the presences and power of the storm dragon is because he was named by him. Just like the slime is naming all these monsters and getting a power up, he also got one from the dragon.

XerBlade

You are not ready for the next episode. ... Which also makes it far more obvious that Shizu was not the hero who sealed Veldora if you hadn't already noticed they were different people before now. People focus way too much on singular features that stand out like a full-face mask. A lesson Benimaru could do to learn.

Should probably also clarify that Rimiru did not absorb Veldora as has been suggested. Veldora is still inside the seal, with Rimiru holding that seal inside a void in his stomach so Great Sage can analyze it. No one can actually tell Veldora is in there, either. Even Rimiru can't sense him. Rimiru's monstrous power and aura is entirely his own.

Bona Fide

I finished it a few days ago and WOW!

Drakuse

I hope that next episode they understand who she really is

Sunshine Hall

Lol ya'll sus as hell to everyone

Shaw

Who let them watch the opening? :( This is the most spoiler op out of any anime.

Justin Neason

This is really interesting... It seems like a light hearted isekai at times, but the dark undertones also surface without much of a change in overall feels. Like, instead of a stark left turn like the beginning of Akame Ga Kill, this presents messed up stuff as naturally as humor and standard action! Idk if I'm explaining what I mean right, but this is good :o

Austin Yun

My man hit them with the KEIKAKU DORI lmfaoo. Translator's note: Keikaku means plan.

I do find it interesting I never thought they where the same person but I know several people that did. 🤷‍♂️

You are indeed a human of culture, even added the translator's note to the meme, lol.

grodon909

That's not until much much later. That aired after the season finished.

It is an enjoyable and good anime but it isn't anything that great. It would be a good little series to sit down and binge.

Baren Nerab

That intro, I see where you going roshi hahahaha

Reign

yall are looking into things WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too hard probably because you coming off lot of intense shows. This show really isn't that deep its purely a fanservice isekai where the MC is OP and makes a OP harem of characters.

It's a more realistic setting, than slice of life or grimderp settings (where cringy evil shit happens just for some retarded reason, w/ no logic whatsoever, but because of derp)

godUsoland

24:54 Have yall seen Doctor Who? This reminds me heavily of the 12th Doctor's "Last Christmas" episode.

Fdestinyz55

Can’t wait to see their faces next episode lol

OMegaWattz

Don't worry, things will pickup but things aren't as dark as other series!

Oui Oui

Is the 3rd episode today?

Ace Overton

I will talk all the mf episodes that you have for Slime asap. This is one of the best anime out

Blackfeet808

Bruh roshi, ur anime iq is top tier, sheera needs to start backing u on ur predictions. U seem to always back her when she’s only like 60% right most of the time

KiDo

The war of when Shizue Izawa got summoned is World War 2, she is 75+ years old (when they said 50 its the last time she was in the guild, its not her birth date...). And something you missed- Although they look similar, Shizue and the Hero that sealed Veldora are 2 different people...

XerBlade

"if you die and go to another world, and you die in another world, where the hell do you go?" Um, I don't know... maybe they reincarnate into a magic high school anime for former isekai anime protagonists? Because I know that's what happens to summons after they finish saving the world and unsummon back again. Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero taught me this. ...Come to think of it, y'all should totally watch Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero.

Giovany

dude, ngl i was kinda hmm "meh" anime, but damn these last 2 episodes were epic as fuck, now i'm really enjoying it

Anonymous

imagine being Veldora having not seen any action in 300 years and then your homie hooks you up with the fire spirit Ifrit. Veldora bout to have so much fun ragdolling this man in there

haywood banks

JunpeiFES .

Really good episode!! I thought rimuru was going to be that chic but i guess not...hmm well maybe in the next episode! Lol

Lupa is Dadi

Aight we get it roshi, add your big brain moment into the intro 😂

Harrison Crandall

I love the anime called ascendance of a book worm. I read the novel well before the anime and I would highly recommend it. so much so that from now on every single video I watch as well as any new video posted from this day forth will have this comment on it along with it's corresponding number. The number is to keep track of how many of these I have done. This is comment number: 1

Drake Rage

Clapped in the comments: Shizu said she has been alive for decades, but y'all assume she was alive for centuries. CLAPPED.
