Good job Sheera I'm surprised she caught that about Chloe's spirit. You should keep that info in mind for S2

Oui Oui

Veldora wasn’t pissed. Also Sheera that wasn’t a hint. That’s just something you tell someone. Also are y’all going to watch the aod

react to season 2 trailer and the ova's it all connects

Ok there is a few thing I think 1. In the manga they do show you what the spirits they get look like and also explain a little better what happened just a little bit. 2 this series is pretty long don’t expect too many things to be explained soon. 3. Rimuru may be broken by our standards now but in this world he is only one of like a lot and because their isn’t major events happening all the time know that is because most of the strongest beings here don’t do much they just kinda chill out like Milum or do something to past the time if you haven’t notice no one is trying to take over the world in this show really

DabnDab

OVAs are great too. 5 Eps.

Oscar Barcelo

Watch the OVAs before going into next season

Doblox

The ovas next

bithemit .

How has that anything to do with veldora not being evil, bro he was sealed because he was destroying a city and he doesn't even feel sorry about it.

godUsoland

You should watch the OVAs, they lead in to the next season.

すもも麻子

Season two, these kids grow up and all speak Jamaican English.

In the context of what happened previously and how the scene played out is quite obvious that it's a hint.

I like how they kinda give the Great Sage her own personality. At first she seemed just 100% robotic, but then they have her like, pouting, or being like, "That's a waste of my ability" or "Heh" as if she's brushing her shoulders off. XD Would be really cool to see her manifest into a physical being of her own, maybe. Or at least have some sort of face.

"We had one last arc/struggle, but we also have a production deadline, so we don't have time to go through all that." Basically lol. I was at a panel at Otakon (pre-covid ofc), where the Assistant Director, Character Designer, and voice of Ranga spoke about the show, and they were saying how they regretted that they didn't have the time to do all they wanted to do in S1 because of deadlines. It's unfortunate, but that's how it is with anime sometimes.

There's ep 24, 24.5, and the OVA's/OAD's. Yup. They should definitely watch those.

I think it sets up a lot of future potential plot threads that they can come back to. The kids, the spirits, etc

Fooni

youtube watcher don't get to see the full reaction, glad I got the patreon.

Fooni

also just another reminder to watch the OAD

BigSchafe

pleeeaaassseeee watch season 2 when it comes out in a month! It's going to be so good

DeMarAdams

I hope they watch ep 24

So is that girl going to grow into the hero that beat Veldora now? So is that why the hero showed up and saved Shizu because its actually the little girl grown up and she is returning the favor to Shizu for helping her out? Also how is the student that left still alive did someone hook him up with a spirit?

bandi138138

Did... did Rimuru make a reference to Slayers???? I’m pretty damn sure he just quoted Xellos!

Reign

I didn't read it but I think the demon thing was something that got skipped in the anime but its from waht they mentioned really quick when he said he summoned a demon into the golem and shit got wild. Not sure if they did OVAs to cover that story but its related to that character and hes obviously related to the kids somehow since he called them his family.

Amzee

All the fucking jokes they made about the village being destroyed when he came back did not age well (or aged too well).

I’m me

the queen of fairy's said that she wasn't a spirit but something from the future and she looks like the little girl from the future and they showed her as the hero who saved shizue and to veldora, she looked like the hero who trapped him so I am guessing that they all are one person.
