What a great show this was, start to finish. Nice rollercoaster of emotions and a well told story with meaning. Can't say there was a single episode we didn't enjoy

Teen girl episodes fair, the main 2 female characters early on have pretty dull dialogue and interactions (but they definitely serve a vital role in the plot), but pushing through "creepy" episodes? It's a show about alien parasites that burrow into skin and take over their host's mind and physiology, why would you expect literally anything but creepy from that premise? That's like complaining that the Alien movies were creepy. Yeah... that's the point.

Legendary

Ben2730

Tony

>>49554649

I’m relatively new but they normally find a few highly requested anime and put it in a poll

HoodedHiyasu-

Since ya finished konosuba ya should definitely pick up another comedy anime *cough LOVE IS WAR cough*

Jack SV

This anime was a bit disappointing in the end for me but I’m glad you all enjoy it.

Cori Curry

Have you guys considered reacting to Erased?

Cody

Tanya the evil, phantom requim of a phantom, psychopass, and akame ga kill are all great and short animes you should watch

L.C.

Was episode 23 the last episode of Slime?

L.C.

I thought we had episode 24 left....

Arsean Wilbon

I wish they would watch Hajime no ippo, atleast the first season. If they loved Megalo box they gonna love that one even more.

Deko

"Post-Nut Clarity" I'm fucking dead lmao

DjinnBae

PSYCHO PASS NEXT

DeMarAdams

Did you guys watch the last episode of slime? Where is it?

Infierno23

That parasite had a "mikey likes it!" moment, or in this case, "migi likes it!"

Devin B
>>49556681

Ep 24 and 24.5 are the last two eps of season 1 so maybe we'll get a double drop of those soon

Viela Guay

Fun little thing to further cement the whole "humans can be just as big monsters or even more so since they don't do it for nutrition", the parasytes literally state that only if they consume the human brain during maturation do they get the desire to kill humans.

Nolli Dee

I doubt anyone else would recommend this, but based off their Haikyuu! reactions I’m more than certain they’d love Hinomaru Sumo, incredible anime that doesn’t get enough credit.

Jeff Heart

Gintama next if you guys can

Ranginald Vagel

You know what would be kinda similar to this and relatively short? Devilman Crybaby

Dune

When lupa's chest hurts you know it was a good episode lmao. Definitely a good ending. The parasites were seen as a threat initially because they were killing viciously all willy nilly but now they just do it in a way where it seems like random crimes are being committed. I'm curious how long they can live ultimately or if more parasites could possibly come from space or wherever they came from.

Al

Noragami

Al

pls watch noragami

Austin S

So can someone wrap up the like takeaway from this episode and the series in general. Tryna piece together the overall message

Korroo

You guys gotta watch Tanya the Evil! (ps. can someone invite me to their discord? Thanks)

Devin B

From what I got from this show is that the parasites are just acting based on necessity just as humans and animals do. They feed off of humans as a means for survival and eventually sees them as a threat to their existence the same way that we feed off of animals and take advantage of the Earth's many resources to survive. During the final moments with Gotou, Shinichi questioned whether it was right to end his life or not since he is acting by nature but decided to end it so that he wouldn't become a threat to humans/ his kind later instead of leaving it to chance. Basically the actions that living beings take is not inherently evil but is out of necessity for their own race to survive whether they be parasites, humans, or animals even if it's at the expense of sacrificing another species.

Thamor

Start the Fate series roller coaster...Fate Zero first =)

Danny

not sure if there's an invite link but you can connect patreon to discord and it will auto let you join

BerserkerAce

Nah they gotta watch a great underrated anime like JORMUNGAND, it amazing.

Drakuse

Have they seen neon genesis evangelion? If not I’d recommend it since they enjoyed this one so much

Tamus Heath

Tanya the Saga of Evil is a must watch show, if not Kill la Kill seems right up your alley and School Live is a short very interesting one. Also Re:Zero season 2 Cour 2, but I imagine you're already planning to watch it

Zana

How about carole and tuesday for patron only?

William Abbott

The Boys if we can do live action series.

John K

Berserk (1997) Or Monster would be a dope show to react to!

EA

Highly recommend Devilman Crybaby

Cephandrius

btw there is still one episode of slime that you guys should definitely watch (ep 25 is kinda unnecessary as its mostly a recap) and the OVAs arent super important but are entertaining

rrayzy

Time for sum TANYA THE EVILL

L.C.

ugh i never really cared about tanya -_-

Danny

Tanya the evil. Then all they gotta finish is overlord and they will be ready for ISEKAI QUARTET lol

Andre

People it is time for Steins;Gate

Yami

If you guys react to live-action stuff, you should watch Lucifer or Kingdom. I would recommend Saiki K, Blue Exorcist, Violet Evergarden, A Silent Voice, or Beastars for anime.

Symplly

whatever happened to Overlord they watched the 1st season but I don't think they ever finished?

King Uma is life

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex had music done by Yoko Kanno who did a lot of the music on Cowboy Bebop. I've never met anyone else who has seen it and I will not rest until at least one person reacts to it lol.

scottrager

Are we getting that final episode of slime??

Kreative

Sheera that was just muzzle flash lol

Shamar

Series was easily 10/10 what a masterpiece of an ending

Chris

Tanya the evil

BigSchafe

Quinton Campbell

Antares

I've seen some people in the comments recommending Psycho-Pass, I 100% agree, easily the best Psychological thriller along with monster imo. There's also multiple seasons, definitely worth the watch.

Rene Sanchez

Bakuman is great, also hajime no ippo. amazing boxing anime

Anonymous

Nice anime, waiting for next votation, psycho pass maybe...

Luke S

You should really try Hajime no Ippo. It's a long one but it's honestly a great show.

Koji

Inuyashiki next!

R3APER

Only thing I never understood was how the one stalker chick from early in the show was able to pick up the signals of the parasites.

Alex cleveland

Migi is the definition of a "right hand man."

joycee

Watch Monster next please

MancunianProphecy

The moment Satomi went off the edge my reaction was exactly like Lupa's... I was too shooketh to even contemplate that Migi saved her before it revealed that he did.

MancunianProphecy
>>49664302

I think it was hinted that most females could sense the parasites... Reason why Izumi's mum and Satomi could tell something was different with him... Also Ryoko's mum sensed she wasn't her daughter after like a line of dialogue.

Ali Sodeq

hahah reverting back. He just stopped using hair gel..

Highlighter

This was a ride. Thank you for doing what you guy do best

Virgilio J. V

Love the reaction from start to finish, I've been watching from YouTube since some time now, just joined patreon, I really love the work with all the shows and content.

Yanpo

I'm glad I pushed through the first few creepy episodes and the terrible teen girl episodes.

RyPie

I still feel like the female characters were badly written except for the female parasyte. The main girl gets better at the end and the overarching message she represents is good, but I feel like it could’ve been better portrayed at the beginning along with her relationship with main dude. Overall good show tho glad I stuck with it

6 months later but to comment in this, the manga of this show was written 1989 so I believe that some clichés or female chars didn't have as much detail and attention to them as they have nowadays.
