idk how some people are missing this but Lelouch ISN’T fighting for world peace. He said it HIMSELF thats he’s only fighting for nunnally and for revenge. Thats why he abandoned the black knights right as they were about to win to go after nunnally on the island, thats why he views his members as disposable. His reason is selfish and that is something even he acknowledges

It's funny how people hate suzaku so much. I personally can't stand lelouch. He doesn't really have any redeemable qualities. He's more ruthless than suzaku and it doesn't matter if he has a good reason or whatever. There was never a moment in the series where I liked him. Same with light yagami.

In japanese there's formal speech and casual speech for siblings and friends. Lelouch began using casual speech with Rolo, dropped all the formal language, that's something Rolo has never gotten. Honeypot? Honey cauldron being stirred up by the Warlock himself, the Prince of Poses.

This usually happens when you follow a main character's point of view. And that's what makes this kind of story telling so intriguing. You don't have to like a character to understand them. However I do think Lelouch is a way better character than light, in my personal opinion.

I love both characters because without either we wouldn't have this great dynamic. After watching the show multiple times, I've cheered for Lelouch at times and Suzaku at times. The question was answered in the previous episode when Lelouch asked if you fight evil with evil or surrender to evil, which is parallel between Suzaku and Lelouch. Evil still remains. There is no right or wrong way to go about this. There are systems that have changed from the inside and others through bloodshed. The main different between them is Lelouch accepts what he's done and knows it's wrong. So, Suzaku changed once season two hit and started using underhanded methods like Lelouch. Suzaku abandoned his convictions of not killing and decided to obtain power just as Lelouch has done. Which we, of course, get more into later.

The discussions surrounding Suzaku and Lelouch only proves the great dynamic this show has given between the two characters as foils to the other.

Suzaku's plan is to take Area 11 and liberate it. These clowns: that's your plan? Yeah seems better than watching a terrorist kill innocent people. The bias is unreal, they're down to watch Rolo get fucked mentally by Lelouch but Suzaku who could easily fuck up Nunnally is a pos, these guys really turn a blind eye to everything Lelouch does.

Honestly, the people who like Lelouch and agree with him are 12 year olds who are easily tricked into agreeing with the main character because they lack the comprehension skills to see beyond one point of view, it's like the creator was setting up a geass for the mentally incapable and boy did he get a lot.

"Oversexualization" or maybe just simply fan service that's in so many anime out there, with some having way more than that. It's really a miniscule amount of fan service here, nothing to write home about. If you want to talk about "oversexualization," there's Prison School, High School DxD, Testament of Sister New Devil, Interspecies Reviewers...... you know, actual ecchi anime. Lol. Basically: Ecchi galore, nobody bats an eye. Just a few seconds of fan service in an episode, and everyone loses their minds!

you dont need to defend it, the oversexualized fanservice is objectively the worst part about code geass. To the point that you can legit just edit all of it out and be left with the perfect anime afterward. It's unnecessary, it's unwanted, and it clashes way too much with the genre and story.

I always saw the fan service as just part of the comedy that was brought in between the darker more serious episode and honestly i rathe have episodes dedicated to fan service than have fan service in serious scenes.
