Did Lupa already forget the stuff of Edamura´s dad being the lawyer for a child trafficking ring, his mom getting sick and weaker by the day because of that? The stuff that happened in Case 1 reminded him of what a dishonest life of scamming and lying leads to. He just wants to stay out of trouble just like he promised his mom. He´s a good kid. I hope Lupa´s stance changes at the end of the show.
