In the manga, Rimuru was actually a little bit more real with the Myuran situation and actually raised the points that you guys did how she greedily decided her life was more important basically.

The thing is your seeing things from her perspective which I will admit most of us would've done the same thing if we were in her position but imagine if you were Rimuru and her actions, even though she was basically forced to do it, helped in the decimation of most of your people. I don't get the point about myulan. When I watched the Episode I was like "bro don't be dumb, it makes legit no sense at all to kill her" and when rimuru decided to not kill her I was glad because he didn't fullfill the bs standard trope of anime boy with big sad and big rage. Myulan was as U said just a puppet and she is just fill material that would've been replaced. So at the same time it would make sense to direct all the hate towards falmuth and especially this demon lord guy who thinks he's so slick (forgot his name: myulans boss).

One thing they didn't explain as to why he saved Myulan was because the cooperation of Youm and his party was guaranteed with the coup he had in mind where he will establish Youm as the new king of Falmuth. Additionally, something that I believe they didn't hit at enough was that Rimuru understood the situation she was in because Clayman took Youm hostage: If she refused his command clayman would have made her kill Youm and then create the barrier, either way, she had no chance of not creating a barrier.

FYI the story of demon lord Milim is the reason why she was so insistent on Rimuru being a demon lord. ever since she lost her friend she was scared of losing another one, so she wanted to make sure Rimuru could take care of himself

in the manga, Benimaru tells Rimuru that since they are monsters named by him they can kill the humans in his name and it will still count as Rimuru doing it since he ordered it. He was worried that as a former human it would hurt Rimuru to kill so many humans and since monsters were used to this kind of stuff he offered to do it himself. Rimuru refused because throughout the whole story he was always more hesitant to kill humans than monsters and he wanted to get rid of that. Plus, he saw this as his responsibility

Something I wanted to point out, and I did with another commenter, is the Myulens barrier had nothing to do with the weakening affect. Her barrier was the Anit-Magic barrier. It's effect is to prevent the use of magic and to prevent communications going outside the barrier. It was the multi-layer barrier that the church put up that caused the massive weakening effect that cost sooo many lives. Only Benimaru uses magic to any extent. Shion is a pure physical skill user, as are the others. Myulens barrier had no affect on thier strength. It isn't explained in the anime, but Rimuru knew that Myulens barrier had no practical affect on the outcome, which is why he was willing to forgive her.

The anime version of that conversation was closer than the manga to the original Light Novel scene. Benimaru didn't know anything about ordering others to kill in his name. That information actually came from the Great Sage. Plus, the exact requirements for Demon Lord evolution aren't exactly clear. So, he felt it was best to do it himself, just in case.

The Great Sage did explain to Rimuru what each barrier did. So it stands to reason that he took that into consideration. Myulen's barrier had virtually no impact on all the terrible things that happened that day and was in fact necessary (in her mind) to save that nation from complete genocide. It also, unbeknownst to her, gave the dead a chance to come back to life.
