This Hector abuse is weird as fuck, seems like some gratuitous female on male violence for the hell of it... It doesn't even make sense plot-wise, why are they suddenly being that cruel to him when Carmilla knew how important he was. He was already pretty much ready to raise a whole army for her but they kept torturing him for literally no reason and now they have to do damage control to gain his favor again to help them? Literally makes zero sense other than being gratuitous female on male violence.

Yeah because the regular ass torture doesn't make sense, moron. To explain what I mean, the story has been building Carmilla up to be one of the next big Bosses to beat, for the main characters, but they keep making her do extremely stupid shit.

That's true... but he was already willing to help her, but she abused the fk out of him for NO reason.. what she did was not "no longer had a reason to act nice" she basically had him actively tortured and humiliated but did not even care enough to even go see and "enjoy" his suffering... she literally didn't care about him but at the same time made him suffer enough for him to NOT want to help her.... it was thoroughly pointless suffering, since she then complained about needing to make him help her again by sending the other chick to win him over... WHY, he was already willing to help you.... it makes NO sense.

I haven't seen passed this episode, but my guess is it's because then HE would be in control, not her. He could usurp power insanely easily at that point, he never did that against Dracula but only because of his loyalty, not ability. If she broke him or manipulated him, she'd still retain power, and there would be some kind of check to stop him from taking her spot. I'm not the biggest fan of it either, but I do think it's not just unnecessary female-on-male torture for no reason.

yea until season 4 where se does nothing but get played, help get carmilla killed, get locked up, and kill herself without putting up any sort of fight. All of her talk about not being soft and weak ends up meaning literally nothing.

rewatching this after watching season 4, Lenore is virtually a different character. She starts waffling about not being weak and then in the final season she just ends up doing nothing, getting captured, and then killing herself. Makes no sense given this setup.

@Aye Jaye its not a fake Jamaican accent. its a Caribbean pirate accent which is a mix of different accents. This man is on the sea constantly and is around foreigners 24/7. Also not everyone in Jamaica has the same accent. Them complaining about it was valid but after 10 times in the same 5 minutes some people might be like "ok we get it"

Not "before they are released" but "before it takes place in the show". The spoiler isn't for Roshi and the gang, it is for those watching it. I watch shows that I haven't seen with their reactions because it is more fun to do so. Scrolling down to see how others reacted only to see people post shit that happens in a later season. I never said "nobody can talk about anything", but giving straight spoilers as to what happens in the further in the series isn't "talking about anything". It is bringing up information that spoils a reveal or plot point later on in the show. Saying something like "Lenore's Journey" instead of putting every step of what happens later. Spoilers are spoilers.

Once again got the notification for this a month later. "Rewatching after season 4" doesn't give a spoiler warning. You could say anything after that sentence. Such as "I still love this episode" or "Things change a bit but here is what I think happened in this episode". But instead, in the next sentence, you add a spoiler for a later episode. You had 3 sentences. 1/3rd of it was a spoiler. You are acting as if you warned people that you were going to spoil something which you didn't. I find it truly funny that you just don't want to admit that you just added a spoiler just because lol. Oh well, in the end you don't care nor do you intend on caring so, eh. So I didn't think much of it while I was watching the show, until you guys brought up the accent. Is it supposed to be Jamaican? Historically speaking, this is around 10-15 years before Columbus was getting to the Americas (if I'm not mistaken). I had figured it was some sort of Mediterranean hodgepodge type accent, given that this is in eastern/central Europe. That all being said though, I've only had a few interactions with people with Jamaican accents, so I honestly couldn't even tell if it was trying to be that lol.
