Comments

Kane

I can’t find y’all’s reaction to the movie under the tag could you help a brother out ?

yoon_noona

hi, is the reaction for movie available? i cant find it here. please help

WTT_321

Late in watching this reaction, but hearing Lupa reference Thomas the Tank Engine is hilarious for the reason of imagining a demon train with his face on it lol XD

Milann Beatsz

Im late watching all of these and there isn't a episode 2 for season 2 nor is there a drop box link

Noah Pearson

I know im late but there isnt an ep 2 because after this episode you are supposed to watch the movie mugen train

ItsLargeDad

I’m also even later but if you still haven’t figured it out they reacted to the movie. You can find the link to the reaction in the tag. It’s the “monster killer” post

RowdyCloudy

Set your heart ablaze ❤️🔥🤘. There's actually a dope song by Fabvl called Heart Ablaze (tribute to Rengoku 🔥🔥🔥.)

Wrëck

I waited just to this with y’all 😢

Branden Jenkins

It’s understandable why y’all are going to wait tell December for the Red Light District arc, I’m doing the same.

Cameron Hall

Are you gonna watch the recap episodes but not do a reaction. Cus I'd still like to hear your opinion of the new stuff in the mugen train arc when we start the next arc

DBG

how are you guys watching this?

Reggie bringit

It makes sense why they made the movie into actual episodes. Not everyone can pay to see it. And for the younger people, it could be tough to convince parents to take them to watch it in theaters, especially nowadays. Though it's still annoying to lose some episodes in the season to retell a story.

Merfhew

The movie is available on both Crunchyroll and Funimation though, and I'm sure it could be pirated pretty easily. I'm not upset, but I do worry about this happening more often going forward.

Felipe Aranda

I hope that if there’s enough content to react to in the next episodes you guys actually give it a go.

Javi

I don't think there's an excuse for this at this point though, every official streaming has had the movie for awhile and you can easily pirate from whatever site that has anime

Eronthaboy

I planned on doing pretty much the same as y’all just watch the first episode since it’s a anime original, then wait until December to for the entertainment district arc. But then I heard about how they’re adding in a bunch of cut scenes from the movie so I wanna see what they added in and if it builds more depth for an already perfect (to me) movie. It also helps that the movie was great and I’m okay with rewatching it

TheToweringOtakunt

Hey, at least the new shit kicks in within the year. I think Boruto went like 65 episodes before what was essentially the Boruto movie had been thoroughly rehashed.

Anonymous

I personally think it’s nice to watch both the episodes and the movie. The episodes allow for more time with characters that you just can’t get in a movie The other way around works as well.

Kami_Psy

That part at the end where they talk about how they feel about Rengoku was actually in the manga. The creator sometimes does a little side note where it shows a picture of a hashira and how all the other hashiras feel about them so that was a cool little addition.

L.C.

Garbage ass slayer cringe

L.C.

You are dumb if you don't think it is just to squeeze more free money where ever it is possible. The people at the top are money hungry assholes who want to squeeze every possible drop of revenue from the series.

Jdogzero Silverblade

would have been funny if at the end of this episode they said to go watch the movie and started at the red light district arc XD

Branden Jenkins

Calm down Krypt🙄. Do you really pay for Patreon to rant and troll others trying to enjoy the reactions, if so that is truly sad and cringy🤦🏾‍♂️.

PolarToni

dude why are you even here? gtfo out you're always so negative and complaining about roshi sheera and Lupa's reactions. No one likes seeing your comments dead ass. if you don't like it just fucking leave.

Branden Jenkins

@PolarToni I agree to an extent, I see this person in a lot of peoples comments mostly complaining😂.

Branden Jenkins

Truly childish behavior in its final form😒, at least Roshi and crew are still making money from it🤷🏾‍♂️.

BZD

I have one word: UMAI!!!!

JsnSkg

Lupa hella narrow minded here. Why? Because 70 new cuts, new OST, and the new op by LiSA. Anybody who has seen the trailer knows this. It's literally NOT just a copy and paste of the movie, like so many ignorant ppl think (because they don't bother to read). On another note, it's also not actually Season 2. The "Entertainment/Red Light District Arc" is Season 2, and it's two cours. This is a mini-season of only seven episodes, just to whet our appetites.

Stephen D

I might join the skip train as well. Got a big backlog of anime to watch.

L.C.

Calm down fellow degenerates. It was not my intention to anger you. I was only speaking facts. 🧐

Peony 三色団子

To be honest, even if these episodes are the same story as the movie, I would love to watch your reaction again. It will definitely be an interesting reaction video. But I respect your decision.

MakAttack G

New OST isn't enough to react to the show with content they have already seen and few shit they haven't. Also if you actually listened to what they said, they'll watch it. Just not react to it.

Ashley Adrien

if i remember correctly, they had these skits at the end of every episode but I think you guys missed it since it's after the credits

JsnSkg

Luckily, there's the Demon Slayer game dropping on Friday, and Rengoku is playable. So, we can still have all the Rengoku we want. :D

DevilMayCarter

Yeah you right. I don't think they're fans of things like that. They didn't watch JJK endings also.

TimeClock

Since yall wont be watching this and we need a monster/vampire anime.(castlevania is over). Could you please watch 'Owari no Seraph' please?

Julio Morales

wait im lost.. what do yall mean about december? why would it take that long?

Woah

ep 2-7 will be the mugen train arc with extra scenes and ep 8 which is in december will be the start of the new arc

radeb

That's copium bro, it's literally the movie adapted to fit in a weekly format.

Devin B

It's basically Dragonball Super Battle of gods all over again. Even if they put in new scenes and alter a few of them it's still pretty much the same.

A1_MiLFshAkE

Such a weird move the movie is the highest earning animated film everyone has seen it. Ufotable & the higher ups are gonna drag this series bc of how successful it is.

Gustavo

What If... Rengoku didn't board the Mugen Train.

Johnathon

So wait, do yall spoil the Train arc in this or something? I gotta wait till December to even watch THIS episode reaction too? Lol

Dyno

This episode hurts so good. Rengoku...

SupremeCai

Greatttt, this garbo is back on my timeline

Davido

DAMN all these amazing uploads guess I'm not getting any sleep tonight

delete

The problem isn't that they aren't adding new things. It's that the core material is the same story from the movie. The people who are disappointed want to know what happens next.

Chimpman

Fantastic copium, bud. The studio fucked you. Get over it, stop excusing bullshit.

Jake White

Have you still not seen the movie? It’s on streaming services everywhere. You can watch their reaction to it and this episode right after

Fabi

If i heard correctly the first 7 episodes are the movie but with a bit more content

Fabi

than all the passengers and our 3 boys would have had a bad time

Pyrtuch

Lmaoo imagine calling someone out for "not reading" while you yourself don't know shit. Mugen Train is part of s2 and those 7 episodes ARE included in the total runtime, this season is listed as 18 eps total so that's 11 for Red Light District.

Johnathon

I planned on watching it right before season 2... but then they decided to make it season 2. I don't know why anyone would watch the movie at this point. My first time viewing it will be the full experience (additional scenes) and episode 8 is still in December with either way you watch the train arc but I'll have fresh content weekly until then by watching the show.

Joel Braaten

That was a really good episode. Rengoku is still the GOAT.

BZD

Did anyone else notice a reoccurring audio glitch during the movie? The sound would cut out every now and then, including their reaction.

C T

Why the fuck would they release the movie first lmao this anime will probably be the better version since tanjiro and the others bonded with rengoku with a snap of the finger lol but since we know what'll happen it takes the weight off of rengokus story...

TokinMex

Lupa's most peaceful intro. It might be Roshi's favorite. lol And i guess having anime movies remade in the anime is the price we have to pay to get canon anime movies and not random side stories.

L.C.

Garbage ass slayer

godUsoland

If you want more Rengoku content, there is a Demon Slayer: Rengoku Kyoujirou Gaiden two-shot manga. It's about 100 pages.

matchaa

im sad again, i miss the boi

yasmina C

lol saying you hate 'these niggas' for killing him, haha. the author is one woman :P maybe you should message her about it LOL

Grelk

more like Mid slayer 😴

EaterOfRice23

after the manga ended im pretty sure the writer said they were planning on making a spin off with rengoku. might be thinking of something else but thats what i remember

Devin B

Yeah they released a 2 part Gaiden of Rengoku back in 2020. They also did a 2 parter for Giyu in 2019.

Devin B

They could've just did this episode and just go straight to the Red light district arc cause waiting week after week for something we know is going to happen is tedious.

Justin Baker

Could you give more specific times that the audio cut out? I don't remember it happening to me at all, unless you're talking about the final rengoku-akaza fight, and there were moments where the music cut out for dramatic reasons, but no straight up audio fully cutting out.

Nick O

Guys they went home and then came back the next morning.. they weren’t still there.. that’s why they said good morning to the guy and he said they were here early🤦🏾‍♂️

Repsol

God no. That shit is so terrible. Low budget trash animation as well. The backdrops literally look like it came straight out of a sketchbook.

Ace The FireDragon

Notice how that demon has the same patterns and colors on his skin as the upper three. That demon was the like the toned down version of the upper three.

geeny

it was most likely because that demon has also done crimes and long time ago irl people that committed crimes they would get tattoos so people would know . hence why azaka and that demon both have tattoos

The Truth

Why would they release a movie of events that you would see episode to episode? It would get less coverage in theaters with every fan knowing what happens. A movie has a bigger impact than going episode to episode and the budget goes more towards a movie. “Snap of a finger” a movie isn’t 20 minutes

The Truth

“New stuff” by new you mean more words. Nothing important is going to be new

Arc

Btw that's ENTIRELY new. None of this was in the manga. Makes me fear what else they might change.

Supplication of Perpetuity

Im a little confused at the end. Are they talking about Rengoku struggling against upper moon 3 (4th strongest demon in existence) or Tanjiro struggling against lower 1?

LUPASAN

Fun Fact: This show was the first one where we started doing “intros”

quandle dingle

Lupa is grieving's over Rengoku death

Gyomei Himejima

Rengoku’s death was painful asf and I never stopped thinking about it. I didn’t think they would make a movie about it but I’m glad they did because he was a great character and not at all like the other pillars. He embodied what a pillar should be and it was a bittersweet ending for him, more bitter than sweet. After finishing the manga, I felt numb. My emotions were depleted and I was mentally exhausted. I regret it so if you want to read the manga, don’t do it. Save your mental well-being for the anime instead.

212

To me as a manga reader, assuming you’ve read the manga. This episode is way more sadder than an Anime only watcher reacting to this.

Victor

I'm a little bit concerned about the total number of episodes for season 2. The first season with 26 episodes covers from chap 1 to chap 53 (a little bit of chap 54), but the events after Mugen Train to the conclusion of Red Light District arc which cover roughly 34 chapters (from chap 66 to 100) only have 11 episodes in season 2. I mean it will be amazing any way, but I hope that they will not rush or leave out any details in the manga, cuz that's one of the main reasons I like Demon Slayer anime.

saintvenom

Rengoku is in my Top 5 best manga/anime characters. His personality/resolve/skills are what put him up there for me.

XerBlade

Contrary to popular belief among those taught by idiots who really need to stop spreading that, you are NOT supposed to cook with gloves on. That does WAY more harm than good. Which is to say, it does no good to begin with. What you ARE supposed to do is wash your hands regularly. Therein lies the main harm wearing gloves causes: it causes people to use them as a substitute for handwashing... and I can pretty much guarantee you didn't wash those gloves right before putting them on. People in general have some nonsensical ideas on what's somehow *inherently* dirty or clean. Everything's dirty until it's cleaned, and then it quickly becomes dirty again whether you like it or not. But hey, all of that is just a series of understandable misconceptions. It's not like it's *completely* irrational, like some things like people drinking through a straw for the sole reason that the glass might be dirty so you don't want to put your mouth on it. Um, what do you think the liquid entering your mouth is touching the entire time before you draw it into the straw? Is liquid somehow immune to whatever it is you're afraid of getting in your mouth? So yeah, relatively speaking, the aversion to seeing people prepare food with their bare hands is at least understandable.

snowwy

you guys should watch anohana

beelzebub

yeah im definitely not interested in watching mugen train twice. Ufotable is great but why make a movie to codense a short arc then make a show recapping the movie into a season. they should have just made the season and not the movie to begin with.

enrike funes

Episodes 2-7? I can’t find them, anyone knows where I can find them?

BZD

They didn’t watch the episodes, but I recommend it, even if you’ve seen the movie, as they contain scenes that weren’t in the movie.

The Force

So it's obviously been a long while since this was posted, and I don't know if anyone will see this (especially Roshi/Lupa/Sheera) BUT one of the most powerful things you get from outside material is learning why Rengoku says DELICIOUS! after every bite. It comes from a samurai tradition to treat and enjoy every meal as your last, because you could very well die in battle at anytime. Rengoku, being a person of blazing passion takes it to the extreme enjoying every BITE as if it could be his last, prepared to die in battle at anytime. You're introduced to Rengoku both here, and in the movie, with him enjoying what he's prepared to have be his last meal. Shouting UMAI! (DELICIOUS!) after every bite. Enjoy that little tidbit

Tycchi

The movie is way better, because it provides one complete and uninterrupted viewing experience.
