One of the things that really stood out to me in this episode is I remembered how the Master said that he feels this current group of Hashira is the strongest there's ever been and the fact that that has to be true. I mean Daki has bodied 7 Hashira all on her own and yet Uzui made light work of her when he's not even the strongest of the Hashira.

Basically Gyutaro appears to be the main unit while the sister is just the sub unit. It's probably like what Uzui said and he has to kill the brother for both of them to be dead.

Naw fam, the second she was slumped the others ran cause she was in the way of the exit, buddy just stayed there tryna shield her the whole time even after seeing it was clearly safe to leave. That’s cool and all, maybe even noble when the threat was blocking the exit but he coulda picked her up and left when the opportunity came instead of staying in that corner with his back turned hovering over her. He made the conscious decision to shield her meaning he was thinking. He ain’t read the room and missed the opportunity.

I think it was more a matter of Akaza respecting Rengoku's strength. Yeah he was more powerfull sure (keep in mind that Rengoku was also the strongest Hashira and probably stronger then Uzui) but he still respected Rengoku's power and wanted to convince him as a training partner.

I'm gonna take a guess here...i think the upper six is only 1 demon...But he created the other one as a projection of idealised body "cute, popular, successfull, other stuff" And that she's fake as shit. Hmm, I'm willing to give that couple a pass. The first thing I noticed is that when the other ladies ran, the guy was trying to calm down the lady he was with (seemed like she was having a panic attack). Next thing, I think they were frozen in shock and disbelief. Like, for sure they could have run when Daki was holding her head but they seemed too shocked at the sight in front of them. Nothing usual at all, lol. And last, I just think they realized the situation they were in was just too dangerous to even think about moving. Either of those demons could have turned them to mincemeat even if they tried to jump out the window; they're inhumanly fast. It might even cause Uzui to get hurt. So, staying behind Uzui until he creates a safe opening to run is the best option. (Also PLOT)

I think with Nezuko it's a mixture of both. Pretty sure it was mentioned early on (if not first ep) that others turned into demons kill their family without a second thought, just instinct. Tanjuro was lucky to hold her off before getting through to her but I don't think they'd be any reasoning with other demons regardless as they're starving

I’m glad they showed the temper tantrum from Daki. It just shows that she was still a child when she died and still has a child mindset as a demon. It was kind of cute ngl when Gyutaro comforted her(besides the creepy part and voice acting aha) when you find out later about their backstory, they actually do have a strong family bond and it’s both beautiful and tragic.

I don't really think Tanjiro is interested in becoming a hero, I think he just wants to save his sister. Or at least that was his motivation for getting into all of this was. It wouldn't make sense if he left his sister with somebody that he doesn't know he can trust because if Nezuko dies then he wasted his time. The anxiety of not knowing what's happening to her would probably fuck with him mentally and get him killed. I also don't think he has blind faith in her, he just wants to save her no matter what. I don't think that's stupid; it just shows how much he loves his sister and how lonely he is since his family is all gone. Anyways that leader of the demon slayer clan might day any day whether you can trust him or not and everyone else unanimously wanted to execute Nezuko so it would be dumber to have her out of sight imo

Not to mention Demons aren't known to be actually real in the Demon Slayer universe by the common masses, hence why Roshi's statement from the previous ep to "Just say you're from the Demon Slayer corps." makes no sense as it would just confuse the people more. Didn't Tanjiro explain how he got the scar in the last episode? He said he got it while protecting his brother from boiler water, and later during the final selection, he got cut and it worsened the scar. At this point, the scar doesn't seem like some big mystery although I'm sure that can change later.
