Agreed. Who decides when the fight ends? Even in the tournament during season 1, getting knocked to the floor didn't end the round unless they got the last strike in to earn the point. And this wasn't a sanctioned tournament fight. I get why people don't like Tory, but this was one case where she didn't do anything wrong

People wouldn't know so much about his "famous kick" if they weren't using his status as a champion. He became a local celebrity which is how he manages to drum up the business. That doesn't happen without the tournament win. (In this universe). The show has gone out of its way to show us that winning that tournament is what led to his success. Your using real world logic, and in the real world I agree. Not in the Miyagi-verse though
