it amazes me how many people i see calling this show trash missing the point. its INTENDED to be trash. but its done in a halfway decent way that makes it comedic as all hell. this show is hilarious, it gets a little cringy at times but its a wholesome if not somewhat sad story with an OP main character that takes the piss out of everything just for bragging rights. i dont see how people cant catch how obviously over exaggerated and ridiculous the dialogue and script are for the purpose of being comedic and simple.

history is like playing telephone: somewhere down the line the facts get lost. "when the legend becomes fact, print the legend" and legend is he is this evil tyrant against non demons and only cares for demons. they not only have the wrong name but wrong personality/facts. he didnt destroy all the other creatures that are non demon but just seperated everyone into their own realms.

I guess you guys can still enjoy this anime because you aren't like us who watch all 10 versions of these anime that come out every single season. I mean I think misfit is one of the better from this op mc, harem trash light novel corner because it has good comedy elements but it still falls off hard and for most seasonal anime watchers this "genre" is a guilty pleasure and at the same time its soooo overused and stale but from your reaction in this and the first episode I remembered that all this is new to you, the super flex in the first episode with this powerfull noble bully guy who then wants revenge and gets destroyed, this highschool/academy thing where they just perma flex, they get denied certain things because of their birth and outflex it with hidden knowledge and powers, the most popular and powerfull student talks shit and won't stop eventough mc showed him he is god and then joins the mc, mc always pulls some forgotten/new/hidden magic and everyone is like :O just all that stuff. It's actually crazy how similar 100 different anime can be and it feels like there is a guide out there for starting off these isekai/reincarnation-type anime the exact same way because it attracts people or smth. Well I will still watch the series with you guys because I love you so much but all the hate towards this anime winning the poll has it's place eventough it might seem strange because you haven't been fattened with these type of anime like most of us did.

There's a reason why it won. Honestly I don't even think it will ever get old unless the flexxing is executed poorly. (Maybe because deep inside we all want to be that person who can flexx on the people that piss us off) If you've read popular chinese manhuas or novels, its literally full of stories where the mc is seen as underdog > mc flexes his power > enemy dead > (may or may not gain waifu) and this happens every arc. Same with popular korean manwhas like Solo leveling, or beginning after the end but with extra steps.. mc is underdog > gains a power up > mc flexes his power > enemy dead > gain new waifu. This is also a trend in anime but not as much.

It doesn't even do anything only done a few times, it's just dumbass trope after dumbass trope of all other trash ass isekai/reincarnation anime. Luckily they don't know this yet because they've only watched actually good and well-written isekai up to this point. This show is just lazy, I could have thrown this entire plot together in like less than a day.

The show has terrible pacing and terrible writing and it is only enjoyable because you know Anos will get out of every situation using the template, "you thought you can ____ me by ____ing me?" I do not consider this show "real" because of how little thought was put into it, but it was entertaining.

I’m laughing right along with Roshi and the crew so far, as this shit is pretty ridiculous, but I can objectively see this show getting repetitive sooner than later if it sticks to this formula only. If the pacing on something fairly interesting and novel (to me) as Assassination Classroom wore off, I can see this doing so even quicker. But that’s a concern for down the road, eh?
