Also, I think Ruth was seeing the bobcats her uncle was trying to breed at their trailers back in season 1. Maybe symbolic of her and Wyatt or something to do with the family. Not sure.

Javi (Marty & Wendy's partner) killed Darlene before she could finish speaking. Then Javi got killed (by Darlene's partner) before he could finish speaking as well. Nice. Man's was ready to drink some cold champagne and got hot lead instead.

i just saw a great show the trio needs to watch: tokyo vice. its on apple plus but of course there are other ways to get it.....its in english and japanese and takes place all in tokyo. yakuza, detectives, conspiracies, and great great writing. i was totally engrossed! do it for the KULTURE

Ruth and Marty are my 2 favorite characters. The only thing that annoys me with Ruth and her family though is they act like everything is the Byrds fault and everything was perfect before. Like her family killed people and are trash. Them trying to kill Marty led to the whole involvement of her family. They did everything to themselves.

Bubble was pretty ass, not gonna lie. Theres this anime film aint nobody talking about, "Pompo: The Cinephile," its far from perfect, but a much better film.

Saying it's ass is subjective. Bubble had plot holes, but so did Your Name and most people agree that's a good movie.

Pompo isnt even out until June or July though. Digital platforms get it in June and the blue ray comes out in July.

I think it’s funny that Marty still just trying to do the same shit while everything around him spirals haha. I only feel bad for him. Everyone else has fucking annoyed the shit out of me. Also am I the only one who still doesnt like Ruth? Never did... like I get that people forgive but remember all the shit she did early on? The Bryds dont owe Ruth shit. She wanted to get herself involved in that kind of life style. Marty tried telling her no several times. She forced herself into it and got ppl she loved killed.

I honestly don't feel bad for Marty at all.. I like his character though, hear me out. While his character comes off as a victim or someone who just has really bad luck, he's a professional money launderer.. Everything isn't spiraling around him by chance. He's literally the cause of the entire shitshow. So, while it's fun to watch the Byrd's survive this long.. karma's a bitch and I hope they don't make it out of this show happily ever-after. The Byrd's came into town and turned it upsidedown, getting plenty of folks killed, not to mention indirectly offing every male langmore besides 3. Besides Marty and Buddy, I feel like Ruth is one of the best characters on the show. She goes from a petty criminal to someone who becomes (at one point) a reliable asset to a goddamn money launderer working for a goddamn drug cartel. She even starting seeing Marty as a father figure as he was taking her under his wing. To me, the most annoying characters are actually Wendy, Charlotte, and Jonah.. but that's just me 🤷🏾‍♂️ I guess it's a sign that a show is good when people can feel so strongly about different characters.

Hella late to this convo but my main gripe with the whole “protecting the family,” or “doing what’s best for the family,” “keeping our family safe,” went out the window when they joined the cartel. People making moves behind each other’s backs and assuming it’s this faction or that will get the whole family clapped regardless. Also, once Ruth ended Javi it’s not like she has anything left to loose. She has no one. As for Marty and Wendy, at this point of the show, I feel like Ruth is like now it’s their turn to suffer lose within the immediate family. Marty and Ruth still my favorites of the show 👍🏼
