So I never watched further from episode 1 as it scared me thinking it would be Yaoi story. So I think the Charlatan is Noe's friend from that flashbacks to his past, that dropped blood on him. At least he will be curse bearer, this is really heavy on fictious stuff and did like this idea that Vampires are actually from some kind of alternate universe.
