From what I understood the power level of Gods are scaled up based on the amount of followers they have. In a previous episode I believe they explained that there was a division between the people and Egyptian gods. The Egyptian gods left to another dimension and their follower count declined over the years. Khonshu is pretty strong but imagine if he had a lot of followers then he would be op.

Steven was created as a protector to cope with Marc’s trauma and Jake a defender who’s pretty lethal with little to no remorse. so Season 2 is gonna be fire cause we’ll probably get to see more of Jake’s persona.

Well they changed the episode from a series finale to a season finale so I think we’ll see Moon Knight again either in a second season or in a film .they likely just don’t have anything ironed down due to Oscar’s current schedule.

Okay but like I don't understand one thing. Back when they were judging Mark and Stevens soul, the scales were going crazy because their were two of them and mark had too go back to his trauma and find out about Steven etc. But it turns out theirs actually 3, so how come he could still be judged without the 3rd personality, even if he didn't know about it the scales are supposed to look deep inside you and judge you, so that would make no difference. Unless they explain this, its a huge plot hole lol

This was a weird finale. A lot of cool moments that I greatly enjoyed, but it also felt pretty rushed, especially the resolution and ending. I definitely want to see more of Sicario Jake Lockley. Overall, I liked but didn't love this series. There was specific elements that I loved, namely Oscar Isaac's performance, but as seems to be the trend with most Marvel Disney Plus shows there was a lot I just found kinda meh. So far I'd rank the shows: 1) Wandavision 2) What If...? 3) Moon Knight 4) Loki 5) Falcon & Winter Soldier 6) Hawkeye

Seemed like because that alter is totally cut off from mark and steven, there was no need to balance them together as the events that made them unbalanced was not related to jake, only roro dying, mother abuse, bad dad, buuuut I dont really expect a weird cross section of Egyptian afterlife mythos and Moon knight's character to mesh flawlessly though, I think a lot of things could have been explained better but only 6 eps

Based off who I think said it, Ammit, is that their power is based off their faith and believers. I assume they all have their base level strength, but having more people believing in them would give her more power. Hence, despite the other gods being significant, were overpowered easily. Although, from what it seems, you also need to have a strong avatar, which is why Marc/Steven were able to overpower Harrow while Khonshu lost to Ammit in their own battle.

Now this puts episode 1 into a whole new perspective. That was definitely Jake in episode 1 that killed all of Harrow’s men when they tried taking the scarab from him.

big fan of the comics. a little let down by these 6 episodes. felt more like a long movie than a series. phenomenal performance by oscar isaac and it was nice to see the Egyptian representation. looking forward to what happens next.

Show was fire overall but the finale dropped the ball a bit at least for me felt rushed and anticlimactic the way they cut away the climax fight of the entire show when they could’ve just introduced Jake there instead, but they could’ve fixed most of this by just giving it a longer runtime they tried to fit too much

I don't understand why anyone thinks that a Marvel season ending means that's the end of the show, at this point it's all in the same universe and the characters are certainly going to make appearances in future shows/movies. Especially if the show is very well received like Moon Knight was.

Just because there mightn't be a Moon Knight S2 doesn't mean we won't get more from the characters. The show name is just that, like Dr Strange plays a huge role in the latest Spiderman even though his name isn't in the title, that's the point of what I was trying to say, is that just because the show has ended doesn't mean that we won't see a tonne more development from these characters. We are deffs getting more fem-Hawkeye, more Moon Knight, more Shang-chi~

I really enjoyed this show but the ONLY thing I wanted towards the end was a backstory on Harrow. I feel like it would've added more to the story & why he wanted to release Ammit. Something had to have happened in his past for him to be like nah Konshu's vengeance isn't enough. Plus it would've made his character more interesting. Like when & how did he meet Konshu? What was their life like together? What started their beef & why did Harrow feel manipulated or whatever by Konshu? Why did they depart? Why tf did he put glass in his shoes???? & How was he, of all people, unbalanced???? I NEED ANSWERS 😭😭 Also, we know that Layla & Marc met because Layla's dad died but it would've been cool to see that through a backstory 6 episodes were not enough 😭😭

But also stuff like more backstory on harrow and how he became this way to make him a more interesting villain, perhaps a bit more on the layla-marc dynamic, and just not as much rushing through the episodes

They actively changed how they announced stuff about the last episode from series to season finale, I think that people are really caught up on contracts and awards etc but if the show did well they can and will make a continuation of some kind. regardless of the circumstances surrounding the initial release
