Comments

Rishad GB

the rap at the middle and the end MAAAAAAAAAN

Prime

W

Nicole Guerrero

Let’s gooo!!! This episode was 🔥🔥🔥

Cheesecake

W fix YEP wouldn’t be surprised if the Ed destroyed the audio

関口信玄

Half the time rap can be considered an intelligent sport, the other half is just like... "dafuq are you even doing?" But since when is there pitch in rap?

Charlie baker

Man cant wait for the next komi, hopefully its soon

Nicole Guerrero

I love the bohemian rhapsody reference 😭

Donald Zuramp

Best episode of the series so far😂

wavyesper

Guess I'll comment the same thing, eminem ain't got nothing on the true rap gods, and the eds stay godly😩

Earphone Jack

This episode was hilarious! I was screaming laughing throughout the entire episode! And the ED was lit! And Maki is actually very cool. Y’all will end up liking her.

Since always. It's just not always as in-your-face as other genres. (unless you're like Bone Thugs or something. Ain't nothing subtle about the pitch in their bars)

Deiondre0

Some Kaguya parallels for that whole conersation with Maki: both of them thought "first time" meant kissing and they both say "sek" because they're too embarrassed to say "sex"

Jarren Jenkins

Yo that ending was fire. Love how they animated them older too, maybe a glimpse of the future? Shirogane a rap god??!!

関口信玄
>>83399613

Weird. I've never noticed pitch in rap at all. I don't hate rap, but I don't love it either. It's pretty low on my favorite genres list, but once in a blue moon I listen to it. Used to listen to it more back in school when I tried too hard to be cool. But never noticed any sort of pitch at all.

Anthony Rodriguez

Episode was hilariousss! I love the Rap Music Video

Chimpman
>>83399613

Huh? Of course there's pitch in rap. If there wasn't pitch, it would all just sound monotone. Even just conversations have pitch.

Alejandro Pupo

Vercreek KILLED the animation for the ending! Monster animator!

kingofshibainu

Best episode this season! They've all been good, but the directorial and editing choices of this episode were just top tier in terms of the adaptation. Next week they should get into a longer arc which should last the rest of the season and I can't wait.

Devin B

I wished they had Shirogane wear a beanie just to make an 8 mile reference.

The NaijaOtaku

Another show where you can tell the animators love the series they're working on is Hunter x Hunter 2011, I think it's Madhouse's best work by far, 148 episodes of quality with no dips whatsoever, most long-running anime can't even manage that.

Mad4Life

Eminem been real quiet since this episode dropped.

Argo2Unitard

With Maki, just not hanging out with your best friend anymore is a difficult thing to do in High School. And Kashiwagi and her bf seem to be the type of couple thats ALWAYS together. The type where you make plans with someone and they just bring their SO with them so you end up being the third wheel on something you planned.

William Morris

yooo ngl that ending was fire idk if I like the chika dance or this ending more chika dance was catchier but the animation on this ending was so smooth and detailed

Ethan

Damn that ED was awesome

Paulothy
>>83400636

Also the way she keeps badmouthing her best friend reminds me of kaguya and Chika lol

Rami Homsi

sometimes an anime will elevate the manga material it was based off, and I think this was one of those rare episodes. what a good fucking episode (im praying for the dub team for this ep because this is gonna be a tough one lol)

LiquidXGravity

The rapping caught me off guard i didn't expect it to be that good had to go back watch it a few more times

Kollie123
>>83408729

That was the first thing I thought of when I watched this episode, good luck to the script adaptors and voice actors lol

Trashthlete
>>83404354

Idk if u checked it out yet, but Roshi got a sólo reaction to the entire series.

Liudmila Duk

day 9 saying that the trio react to kanata no astra

Trashthlete

This episode was straight heat.

Ougi

this show just keeps getting better

azerangga

best rap in anime history

Cédric Barthel

If I had a nickel for every rapping anime episode this season, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it already happened twice this week.

Ragdefender2

They dropped this on the same week that Yaboy Kongming did their rap battle episode! Its like they responded to the challenge.

Jamie
>>83412270

Ayo they gotta react to Kongming, it's so fire!!!!

Sum1s0mewhere

Fun fact. While they was having their rap battle, ishigami was having one as well, against Ya Boy Kongming.

MWS
>>83414095

nah theyre like siblings IMO (i also kinda expect chika to end up with hayasaca but thats a topic for many season later)

ZOOM

the seasona of romcom and rap, kaguya sama, kongming and aharen san

godUsoland

I'm gonna need a reaction to Ya Boy Kongming! MC Kongming dominated this season of Rap Episodes :)

A.D.Z

One of my favorite episodes and i wish to see more Hayasaka she is the real queen of the show Btw for info, the animation of this special ending was realised by a single person named @vercreek thumbs up for his awesome work 🔥

Omar Bautista

Hopefully they change ch 220 to Hayasaka Love is war

gg78cc
>>83412270

Youd actually have 3, Ahren san did one like 2 weeks ago lol

Erik Salazar

wow. reacting to this through this and damn! that was an unexpected rap!

Lola

This episode was f*cking HILARIOUS. All the misunderstanding and the exaggeration like wow, it reminded me of Saiki K. You too should check it out! It's just as hilarious as this show!

Totally Thomas
>>83414095

I really do think Miyuki and Hayasaka got a better relationship. Miyuki in a way is teaching Hayasaka to let go and be herself a bit more, and Hayasaka is showing Miyuki its ok to be reserved and work on your goals when you think no one is watching since he's been labeled because of his economic class.

Mari

Are we still getting a poll for the mune knight replacement??

Harry Tobin

an 18 year old animated the ending apparently

Taylor Moon

This episode was fun, wish I could watch the show... can't get past episode 5 of season 1 though

Ethan
>>83414095

Lowkey, Shirogane and Hayasaka seem to have more consistently deep relationship moments and continue to improve eachother than Shirogane and Kaguya. Although the parallel is also seen with Kaguya and Ishigami as she's the first person who actually helps push past his doubts and has high hopes for him. Plus, constant tutoring over multiple exam periods now. I know it'll probably end the series with Kaguya x Shirogane and Ishigami x Iino, but from what we've seen so far, they legit have deeper relationships with the people they don't seemingly have crushes on.

SupremeCai
>>83443940

And it was the actual VAs (for Shirogane/Chika) were the ones singing apparently? Dayum

Kollie123
>>83414095

It’s almost like you’re allowed to be friends with people of the opposite sex, or even help them improve their life without having to have romantic feelings for them…what a concept!

Heavenly Demonic Emperor

What was the anime that will be replace with Danmachi after it's finish I forgot lol

Mari
>>83504011

They haven’t said anything about danmachi replacing anything, they did say that they’re were going to put danmachi on a trio poll because a lot of people were asking for it to be on a trios poll

Daylight95

ROOOSSSSSHHHHHIIIIII!!!!!!! Season 2 trailer 2 for MADE IN ABYSS SEASON 2 dropped a few days ago.!!!!! Drop date of JULY 2022. LETS FUCKIN GO !!!!!!!!!

Mari

Can we get Magi on a poll please, not trying to be an nuisance

rickie woodson

i just found the next anime film to watch: Belle. do NOT look up the japanese title or anything about the film except maybe a trailer but even then....no. i didnt even watch the whole trailer cause i was like "yall giving away too much". it is like sword art online meets a slice of life anime. and the animation.......GHIBLI LEVELS!

SoggySoup
>>83443940

Yeah his name is Verrcreek. He was animating cuts in jujutsu kaisen at 17.

Sum1s0mewhere

Would be nice to see them react to High Score Girl as a duo. I think roshi would enjoy it a lot

Lily Rose

react to the movie FRESH on Hulu!

Coffee

The queen reference lol

Taylor Moon
>>83452430

Why do you think… like if you really had to guess, why would that be?????

Jamar Arrington

Did Fujiwara just rap to the beat of Naruto Shippuden op 1 ?
