Kingmakaii

Boy roshi sound bout sick as hell LMAO hope you feel better bro 😭

Drake Rage

OMG, I love the timing, so I can watch it on the same day without affecting my sleep schedule, haha! edit: Oh Roshi, you sound sick, hope you get well soon! :)

Argent6

s2 reaction, this does bring a smile to my face

Sultan Ogunniyi

The shaltear fight with the dragon happened after she got mind controlled, not a 100 years

Mari

Jdogzero Silverblade

"was it the dragon or the person who fought shaltear" they are the same being XD

AJJAMES123 156

btw the person talking about the game world in the beginning wasn't the guy and the chick with the rubix cube it was the dragon(btw when the old woman and dragon were talking about the ring the old woman gave away it could have been a guild ring like what ains. At least that's what it sounded like to me)

While it is true that continuous requests is what gets anime on polls, there is a time and a place lol. Commenting 4 letters under every post is a waste of time and will always be scrolled past

CJ
>>83695748

This comment somehow makes it more confusing. The dragon/armor dude attacked shalltear AFTER she was mind controlled and BEFORE Ainz & Albedo found her, right?

Mari
>>83695748

Yeah 😂 tried to explain it the best I could without writing like 3 paragraphs

Lloyd Edwards

How cool is it to hear Nozawa doing something that's not DragonBall

Mari
>>83695748

My fault bro, if I made it even more confusing 😂

Mari
>>83695748

I’m not stfu for you 😂, this the last episode they will ever see any of the characters they saw in the beginning of the episode, so was trying to explain it to them the best I could do they wouldn’t be confused

Oscar Guerrero

This is not a spoiler. It was simply not explained properly in the anime. Remember last season when Ainz went to fight Shalltear she was already wearing her armor and holding the Pipet Lance that restores health when inflicts damage with it? Remember she was standing inside a circle on the ground? There was no grass on it. The reason is: Between she getting brainwashed, and Ainz showing up to fight her, The dragon showed up, wearing the armor, to fight and test Shalltears' power. If I remember correctly, the dragon wanted to see if she was a dangerous creature that would cause great danger to the world. He obviously got more than he bargained for. He not only found out she was a powerful foe, he also got damaged on the shoulder with the Pipet Lance to the point that it dented or made a hole in his armor. Then he fled, and that's when Ainz showed up to fight Shalltear. She was already suited up and with Max health. She didn't lose any health because at the end she injured the dragon and got her health back from the attack, the red power beam shown in this episode, the dragon shot at her. On another note, I don't remember if they already mentioned this previously. Remember that right before Ainz used his last attack, against Shalltear, he kind of hesitated for a bit while breaking the tiny hourglass sand clock, the gacha shop item, and for a couple of frames you could see an eye staring at Shalltear? Remember this caused her to stop for a second to look behind her, allowing Ainz to completely break the gacha item and activate his last spell? Well, the eye was Aura. The little dark elf wearing male clothes. He used a fear attack to stop Shalltear for a fraction of a second aiding Ainz in the process. This is confirmed at the end by Shalltear while she is disintegrating into light. She said: "You little..." while smiling and with her eyes closed. I mention this because I remember Roshi being confused as to what was the eye. They also speculated that the eye was from the people that brainwashed Shalltear. Now you know the answer. A final note, I swear. Last season the anime mentioned that Shalltear's creator and Aura and Mare's creator were siblings in real life. That is the reason why Aura and Shalltear had that kind of relationship. A similar relationship to that of Bukubukuchagama and Peroroncino. Now you know why Aura distracted Shalltear.

Mist

that little flashback showed that the dragon(who can control the armor), attacked shalltear before ainz got there but he wasnt able to beat her which is why shalltear was still there, also the black and white hair girl is from the same country that attacked Ainz in season 1 with those angels

Mist
>>83695748

Dragon controlling the armor attacked shalltear after mind control before Ainz found her the first time

Miguel NoName
>>83695526

I am confused, didn't the dragon dude (previously a humanoid wearing that silver armor?) said to the old lady that he has been apologizing about becoming a dragon for the last 200 years? Which meant that he fought the vampire chick when he was still in human form back then. Which to me meant they fought in either the game, or the people from the Yggdrasil all came at the same time and something happened that made the NPCs and Overlord forget about it. Wild guess*

Mari
>>83700159

Ohhh ok, I thought it was before the mind control was put on her, I was wondering why the dragon would attack shalltear after the mind control was already put on her, but he just was trying to see if he could defeat her, ok, thanks, went on ahead and deleted my comment above 😂

NecDW4
>>83695526

*Edit* OK, the subs in the episode are wildly misleading, dragon wasnt a player himself, he just knew them from a long time ago, though its easy to make that assumption the way it plays out in that scene. Dragon WAS remotely controlling the armor in the fight against Shaltear, which was where the damage in the armor came from. Source: double checked the LNs and Wiki to be sure.

Lloyd Edwards

Black and white hair chick is strong. She's on par with shaltear without her gear. Although I don't know how much stronger she is with her gear as opposed to her without it

Mist

the one who mentioned yggdrasil was the dragon

Invader Rin

They actually did bring back Reboot, but as a live action show. No one wanted it.

Franck Frost
>>83695526

Grats Nec, you just clapped yourself. Then again, the anime did make that part hella confusing, the recap movie fixed that -and a few other stuff but no one watched those-. Still, don't know how you came to the conclusion that the guy just randomly met an alone Shalltear in the middle of a forest.

The Pebble

It was both that mentioned Yggdrasil; The dragon and the dude talking to horny cube girl.

NecDW4
>>83695526

Yeah, had been looking for that convo in the books, and double checked teh wiki to be sure. Anime fucked that scene up bad. I came to the conclusion thinking it was just him remembering a time when (as a presumed player) he'd tried going into Nazrick, and figured the anime wasnt too concerned about what was goin on in the background.

Outcast107

Yeah, a lot happen, but there a shit ton more in the light novel lol. So quick run down. As I got work tonight so can't go into more detail unless people would like it. - Dragon is probably one of the strongest in the 'new world'. He isn't from the game, but he knows a good bit about it since items, spells, and players came from it. - The Dragon join up with a bunch of adventures while he was younger. Though he never told any of them he was a dragon at first. As he use a spell and the armor you all seen. - Dragon felt Shalltear presence I believe (or something happen to get him to check out the vampire) And when he attack, Shalltear reacted. He got his ass kicked and retreated as he didn't want the smoke. And I think that's mostly it. OH! Roshi theory about players getting sent in different times is something I have and others have as well. It's a least speculated by some of the problems/heroes that showed up throughout time that could have been players.

The Pebble

Imagine if you were on a level 15 alt character, and you got sent to a new world from the game; That would be my bullshit Isekai experience.

Erik Salazar

The fight between Shalltear and the Dragon happened when Ains was already sent there. I believe it took place in the episodes after Shalltear and her vampires went into the cave to kill the bandits. She was placed in an incomplete mindcontrol and the dragon unfortunately ran into her in her controlled state which caused a battle.

Senpai

Roshi, I hate to say this but they DID bring Reboot back. ....And they totally fucked it up. :c

Aldo Bastian

Aye been waiting for this🤙🔥

Mari
>>83704143

I wouldn’t even be an adventure no more if that would happen, I would go on ahead and become a regular civilian and live my days peacefully 😂

earthphoenix7068

The vision of the fight between Dragon and Shalltear is the aftershock of 100 years ago not 100 years ago. Whatever that means, so presumably they thought it happened due to events of 100 years prior.

Jess
>>83703773

Which vol is it from? Have up to volumes 6 but had been quite a while since i last read them

Godrick

this episode was a lot easier to keep up with in english

Godrick
>>83703773

That is correct. they make many inferences towards "great beings" throughout season 2 and 3, all of which are different groups of players throughout the world's history. Some decided to be great heroes, some were malevolent, Ainz being undead with no empathy is trying to rule the world. I think the light novel heavily implies hes also the most powerful player to have appeared thus far

Godrick
>>83703773

I think all that is volumes 4-6. Pretty sure season 4 will cover 8-11, it's been a while for me too

Nardoc

Roshi with the Vid

Ethan

Funny enough that dog woman is one of the only npc's in Nazarick that wouldn't immediately torture/kill you. So yep, despite looks that's your only friend lmao.

Senpai
>>83706723

2018 "ReBoot: The Guardian Code"... I honestly wouldn't bother with it. xD

Infinity
>>83704643

because it was an insignificant scene and they showed it now. He literally showed up she attacked him and whooped his ass in 5 seconds and he ran away. You literally saw the extent of their fight in the flashback lmao.

Infinity

yall clapping yourselves almost as hard as the first time you watch season 1 good luck with the comments lmao

Dune

GO CRY GO! What a nice intro.

CJ
>>83700899

This is head canon and unnecessary info at the moment

Random Guy

This season is where they really paint AInz as a villain.

シュモーク
>>83719131

Eh sorta, he undoes most of the bad stuff he does in this season and does it to random ass characters we know next to nothing about. Season 3 paints him as more of a straight-up villain.

Liudmila Duk

day 12 saying that the trio react to kanata no astra

by chances

did u get covid? my voice turned just like that when I caught it

ahomelesscake

Im mad that Roshi came to the same conclusion I did and posted about in S1 episode 1 or 2 lol. Also how did they not notice that the dragon armor is the same one in Nazrick masulem?

Fabi
>>83703773

each season until now covered 3 Novels. I think season 4 will only cover 10 and 11

Fabi
>>83704143

tbh even with level 15 you are at least middle range I think

Random Guy
>>83719131

I'd like to elaborate more why I think s2 makes him more of a villain but that would put spoilers, but ill try to make it as simple as possible. In season 3 most of the people he claps are not innocent, and there is a justifiable reason why he does it. In season 2, these lizardmen literally did nothing wrong, they are just minding their own business when Ainz starts barging in on them.

Fabi

Question for fellow Novel reader because I forgot: isthat black scriptiure girl (who is a decendent from the "gods") really that strong or is it that typical "OHh i am the strongest no one can defeat me" getting their ass kicked kind? Because beeing stronger than a min-max max level NPC is hard to believe

Fabi

would it be a spoiler to talk about the strength of the Empire and kingdom?

Grelk
>>83741562

We don't really know yet since we have yet to see her fight anyone

L.C.
>>83733817

Or he just has allergies or has a cold..... That happens all the time as well....

L.C.

The ending song for this one is waaaaay better than the opening for me

Outcast107
>>83741562

*Shrugs* I have no idea since we've never seen her fight. Though I would say she is at least more powerful than the battle maids. Depending on which she fights and how many. Though against a guardian? I kind of doubt it. Only because I don't think she can use high-tier magic as they can. That and skills the guardian uses. So IMHO, she will get wrecked.

Outcast107
>>83703773

I believe this was vol 4. Volumes 5 and 6 are kind of together and are the next two arcs in this season.

Mist
>>83741562

Spoilers so read at your risk-------------- I think She is a decendent of a player from yggdrasil who came to the New world many many years ago and an Elf(maybe the king i forget) from the new world, and she is regarded as one of if not the strongest person in the slane theocracy

Fabi
>>83741562

Mist Yeah she is a decendent. But that shouldn't make one strong. You level is this world. And if she would be stronger than Shalltear than slane wouldn't be surprised at anything Ainz does

T.E. Stroud

My man Roshi is going through puberty again.

WeavyBoo
>>83740887

bc it's a minor detail and how tf would anyone remember that. We saw that for what? A couple frames? With all the anime they juggle, plus having real lives, you expect them to remember a couple of frames?

Runndover

They did bring reboot back and they did fuck it up.

lyssa

noooo don’t skip the Ed

Randy Petitmaitre

I just thought of something roshi said people get stuck in different time maybe when momonga got stuck at 12 his time meaning japan time maybe the other players got stuck before momon due to timezone difference let's say someone living in America or Europe you see where I am going with this

Beef Gristle Mill

Please watch the ending for this season and season 3 🙏 both are so fire. Idk if they have spoilers or not, someone can confirm it.

A1_MiLFshAkE
>>83778908

Ending for season 1 might still be my favorite but all the ending songs slap fr

Beef Gristle Mill
>>83778908

Yeah all of them are good, opening 1 is my favorite of the openings but ending 3 hits different for me.

ComfyAsh
>>83888248

This is a spoiler. They say that further into the light novel. Please delete this in the hopes they haven't seen this. Let them guess and speculate and find out on their own

Nesko_Pie

Somebody get my nigga Roshi a cough drop. Blood sounds hoarse

Asura༄

6 Great Gods= 6 First ever players

Viela Guay
>>83704143

Considering Gazef without his super gear is around lvl 30 comparatively, you'd probably be living a good life as a high tier adventurer

Heruwath

600 years ago - 6 great gods, 400 years ago - 8 greed kings, 200 years ago 13 heroes vs. Demon Gods. Present - Ainz.

Heruwath
>>83741562

SPOILER so you all have been warned. She is a god-kin, same for the leader of the black sculpture, who was present during the brainwashing of Shalltear. Shalltear even said, "that one is strong". Her power level? Nobody really knows, but she will fight Mare in Volume 16 (probably season 5). I did not read the whole fight yet, but Mare is playing with her. Nothing out of ordinary, since Mare is a beast and considered the second strongest guardian after Shalltear.
