Anyone else bothered by how the anime gets really dark (low brightness) whenever there's a flashy attack? I don't know if it's always been like that or not, but it makes it really difficult to see in those cool moments.

Yeah they do it cuz the animation with the flashy lights that they do in action scenes sometimes (which I hate btw I think it makes the animation seem cheap they did it a bunch in one punch man season 2)

They do this on all animes. The reason is flashy attacks or bright special effects can cause some damage to the brain resulting in seizures.

About Rishia, Basicly the Old Lady is actually a lv90 former adventurer. She taught Rishia her martial arts which is called Hengen Muso style. It utilizes Ki or life energy. The old lady states that she has massive potential that you only see once in a lifetime. In the novel she had moments where it leaked through and she became stronger than Rapthtalia when they were sparring. This is all stuff that was skipped. They skipped a whole arc.

I'm in the same mindset as yall, the pacing of this season has been way to quick to really enjoy it, my friend told me they skipped a whole ass arc before going into the tortoise, so it's feelbad but I'm kinda detached compared to S1

S2 isn't bad from what I remember. There is kinda a s3, but ig it's more like a prequel, telling some of the events of sinbad when he was younger, and how he founded Sindria (I think that's what it was called).

Yall should fr watch Magi. If you want to watch it chronologically, you should watch Magi: Sinbad no Bouken, even tho it's the latest in the series. If you wanna watch it in terms of when it came out, go for Magi: Labyrinth of Magic

There’s supposed too be an s3 coming and season 2 isn’t bad either, it is as good as the first season, it’s also been getting recommended, it’s just a lot more people recommending it now, and the other show is about one of the characters in magi, it is called” The adventures of sinbad or sinbad no boken”

Disappointed they gave the annoying ass green haired girl all the budget and had her lame ass turn up while naofumi got made out to be a bitch and couldn't get up from the gravity spell but she could do shit. I am here for naofumi and the two girls that actually matter here. Not the tortoise hoe and the green haired bow thot.
