The GOAT Brion returns

Comments

Dude559

"I can't leave i pledged to zod" BITCH that is why i'm getting you out of here so that you can help him from the outside

Dude559

I am noticing a pattern of Roshi not being able to discern model scaled objects from what is supposed to be real life sized

jesse almonte

Brion "The bitch deserved it" Markov

Kazumasa

Hey bro I'm just gonna say it violet is for the streets and has been since season 3

Bigbaddoodoodaddy

Another late upload and imma have to slide ya 😴 🤛🏾

Serg

This episode felt like a whole filler and I got frustrated bc last weeks episode was so good

Denickart

Catwoman Hunted also just came out on HBO Max and it takes place in the YJ universe.

Kollie123

This is episode was hard to watch, my man Superboys mind is so fucking folded lol

Mithrell

Return of roshi's favorite superhero. Hot lava

Bosastar

I'm pretty sure that dude is mind controlling Brion or is able to persuade people

Kingmakaii

Brainwashed I knew it and I’m with Roshi that nigga had to die

mitch anderson

Lol I don't think they remember what the Ambassador's power is

rickie woodson

you shouldnt trust him since season 3 ended with the reveal that he works for the light

Chimpman

I think that ambassador guy with the glasses is a metahuman with the ability to influence people with a touch. Notice how they focused on his hands every time he put them on someone's shoulders. The way they felt about something changed and he influenced them.

Trey Milliner-Williams

I’m like 75% certain the ambassador can change peoples decision making abilities by touching them or being around them. But I’m not quite sure

Grelk

Her new outfit looks like doodoo bro 😭

Serg

Phantom Girls hand looked gnarly wth 💀

rickie woodson

so lex luthor's infinity inc, young justice style. and an og infinity inc character (fury) in the ep? NOICE

rickie woodson

so phantom girl was trying to get bgztl............TOLD YA SO, TOLD YA SO. TOLD YA TOLD YA TOLD YA SO! #toldyasodance #will&grace

Mahmii

It was revealed at the end of Season 3. He had a convo with the Light

Desi JB

I think we should keep Roshi away from the Brion plot. Les we want to hear another rant on how executions are acceptable. -_-

Michael Pamon

Y’all were talking over it in the season 3 finale, so I don’t think y’all caught it, but it was revealed that Ambassador Bazzovi has the power to psychically manipulate people and bring out their darkest desires, which is why Brion usurped his brother the way he did, and why Lizard Johnny and Brion were so easily manipulated in this episode.

Chimpman

They can be acceptable. I don't think Brion's was, but let's not pretend they can't ever be acceptable.

rickie woodson

oh, so not lyta hall but someone else using the fury code name. lame

rickie woodson

going to face the kryptonians without their most powerful member (m'gann)........i dont think that's wise but ok gang. we in here now. good luck

ThatOneGuy

Roshi needs to understand all the heroes have the same fear as Batman the fear that when you start executing people willingly you’ll keep doing till it’s literally for no reason 🤣🤣🤣

Gino De Lucca

Remember you guys the Markovian Ambassador can psychically influence people so he’s pretty much pulling the strings on everything going on there.

Owen Halloran

taking all bets on wether Lor Zod gets wiped by the green lantern core next episode

KayWhereYouAt

I think your on to something because as soon as he came in the room violet mood changed completely

KayWhereYouAt

I think your on to something because as soon as he stepped on the room violet mood changed

Jason Williams

It seems to me that they completely forgot about the Ambassador using his mind control powers to influence Brion. Every time he used his powers in this ep they started conversing about how suspicious he was right at the moment they would have realized/remembered what his ability was had they been paying just a little closer attention. lol I enjoyed the irony

Jalen Brown

Remember in season 3, we learn the sus guy is working with the light and can use his psychic powers to persuade people emotions and thinking

Dylan Williams

It's hard to hear in the reaction video because they're all talking over it, but he says something like "My own minor meta psychic ability helped push him towards his darker instincts." or something close to that.

Desi JB

Not saying they arnt. Just saying everytime one happens Roshi is gonna rant about it. XD

Dark Shogun

:-) I was jus about to post that. Yeah, he works for The Light if I remember correctly.

Ranginald Vagel

Omg The Brave and the Bold, this season has a lot pf love for the DC animations that came before it

Dark Shogun

The Phantom Zone really messed up Connors mind. I hope he wakes up and realize that the guy the he's pledged himself to is a very bad dude.

Oliver Rodriguez

I was just about to write about this, and decided to scroll before I wrote it. But yeah, every time he came into the picture, who ever he was talking to would suddenly change their mind with just a few words from him. He wasn't persuasive enough AT ALL when he got Lizard Johnny or Brion to change their mind. And right when Violet and Brion was about to reconcile, He steps into the room and they speaking venom towards each other. I didn't know, or I forgot, Bazzovi had those powers!

Michael Pamon

They were talking over the part in the season 3 finale where the Ambassador talked revealed his psychic powers

Thomas_Stilinski

the adviser is quite literally controlling everyone

retrocalie

Yep just start executing everyone you see committing a crime. Until y’know the wrong people start deciding what’s an evil action.

Antoine

Brion man's must be a meta why he touching ..

E.j. Pennine

It’s going to take Megaan to wake Connor from his sickness. Phantom Girl is going to have to find Prince Jem to get home too.

Not Dual Wielding

Roshi gets so mad that Red tornado can be hacked, but when Brion is getting manipulated by the glasses guy he gets real defensive lmao

Adrian Valiente

Luckily, it seems that phantom zone rules are based on will power so...yeah I'm still worried.

delete

every time that ambassador touches someone they change their mind hmmm

bob

A year later, Brion still thinking about Halo...

Terry King Jr

Low key Batman: Brave and the Bold art style

bob

It's a throwback to Halo's original costume from the 90's

LeFlaneur

No disrespect to Harper, but is dumping super powered rich king for regular women working at the gas station really the best move?

Earphone Jack

Literally the only person that can help Conner’s mind right now is M’Gann. I think she’s going to find out what’s going on somehow now that Phantom Girl is out of the zone. Especially since the original team is going to have a hard time getting him out since he kneeled before Zod.

LeFlaneur

This is a Brion channel. No Brion slander here.

LeFlaneur

Haha and she hasn’t even actually hooked up with Harper yet, like that’s very unrealistic threshold for hoeing

losinmymindd_

Shit I didn’t know it was a table model either

LeFlaneur

The ambassador said last season his mind control wasn’t as powerful as other physic in the show, but if that’s true, folks like Megan and Simon are really really holding back because that men is a whole problem.

LeFlaneur

Do the Legion people in this universe have Martian ancestry, or is it just a coincidence that all their powers lineup with typical Martian abilities?

LeFlaneur

I don’t like it, but it’s not doodoo, it’s just more womanly, like in a church/mosque on Sunday AND Wednesday type of way.

LeFlaneur

In universe I’d say Megan is more powerful than Zatana. Zatana here isn’t really at the level she gets canonically.

Jaydon

I mean maybe they would still be able to fix things if the ambassador wasn't manipulating them but oh well. I wonder if Halo's exploration of faith could be impacted with the relationship with Harper?

Weekly Flo

I'm sure someone's pointed it out already, but Halo doesn't use she pronouns, it's they/them pronouns now

Kollie123

It is a reference, it’s more like the actual halo comic characters costume now

Dark Danny

I'm pretty sure Halo's the one who brought it up in conversation, can't remember who she was talking to tho

Dude559

damn Vi looks cute. Also maaan fuck Brion and his bullshit. Personally i'm more interested in the support group.

Victor

It is irrelevant to this series, but have you guys considered watching The Boys: Diabolical yet? Because The Boys season 3 is just around the corner.

Beef Gristle Mill

Well it's not like he can really help it since glasses bozo is manipulating damn near every thought in his head. But I'm glad Gar is finally in a good place or at least better than he was.

CJ Dennis

I don't disagree with Roshi about Brion's actions, I even thought about him when watching this episode. However, I think the way the show is presenting it is that Brion was supposed to be an outsider and by extension a justice leaguer and so what he did was he compromised one of the league's key principles and that's why they feel like they lost him or people that once looked up to him as an outsider are now afraid of him (as seen with the Lizard Johnny character). It's also interesting that as Brion is starting to figure out what's really going on and may be starting to become a hero again, Conner is starting to lose his mind and his heroic nature. Halo and Brion have always paralleled Meghan and Connor so this was nice to see. Speaking of Halo her new costume resembles her original look in the comics, and she's becoming pretty powerful. Sidenote: Halo and Dolphis were both blonde-haired white girls in the comics and I gusse they race swapped them cause they have enough blondes in this show already lol. Also, we have seen Halo without the Hijab her hair is just darker (which personally I enjoy). Lastly, we did see Cyborg in the third episode of this season, it's good to see him here hope him and Static get their white love interests soon (especially Static cause they built that up last season).

CJ Dennis

She was talking to Harper when she established them, and brought it up here when the Ambassador was calling her she.

CJ Dennis

They probably won't go deep about Halo's faith conflicting with her relationship with Harper, but we'll see.

CJ Dennis

@TD It's funny you mentioned Halo's new outfit looking more womenly considering that Halo doesn't identify as a Woman anymore lol. Also, her last outfit glowed when she used her power I don't think this one does.

Maleny

Every time that fuckin Markovian advisor puts his hand on someone's shoulder, he's about to play them.

CJ Dennis

The Legion of Superheroes have a whole bunch of members, but the three for this mission just so happen to have abilities similar to a Martian.

Reckless Company

i completely cool with brion at least he is not killing people his uncle is his only body u can tell on his face that his trying not to be that way but the ambassador gotta go to jail he a whole member of the light plus he low key be influencing metas to go dark i was laughing at how quickly connor exposed her like this nigga mind is super clapped dick and friends need to hurry up lol

mkFerg24

The Ambassador can influence your decision when he touches You.. Didnt he do that to Brion Last Season?

Devin Witt

Brion about to add an ambassador to the lawn next to his uncle. His story seems like a stand in for Black Adam, who ruled his own nation as well. Have we seen Black Adam in the show yet? Been a while since we've seen Shazam(Captain Marvel) too.

Skye

is it really filler if this is how the story goes?

Liudmila Duk

day 19 saying that the trio react to kanata no astra

LeFlaneur

We don't get to see her much, but anyone noticed how good Lia looked ? She's not as strong a telepath as Meghan, but she's the baddest redhead in the show 🥴

Spriggz

Dope shirt Lupa, I like it

Keith Nieves

what in the johnny test was that interlude

Vino66

I agree with Roshi on this. I really wish the writers actually had the balls to write Brion's journey without this shady manipulation crap. He would've been a really cool Magneto-like character calling out the obvious differences that are between regular humans and everyone else. In a universe where people can have superpowers, Separatism is a seriously understandable thing to consider. People forget Separatism is NOT the same as Supremacy.

DaynNight21

Yup he did do that last season, right before he was initiated to the light. But I'm surprised not many have seen the obvious touching individuals to influence their decisions.

Vino66

I'm talking about Brion/Magneto having their very own 'super' country. Not a mixed country where there are some serious messed up segregation/ supremacy laws. These are people with powers not changes of skin colors! 🤣

GAMABUNTA

Brion just did what Batman scared to do but to be honest in sometime lines killing joker kinda ends the world so…

Vino66

@Lamaree Jackson. Actually, I remember reading that Stan Lee did not get involved with X-Men for the political allegories people saw it as. He just liked the story. People turned the X-Men political AFTER the fact. I'm well aware some people see Magneto as a Malcom X character where Professor X was MLK, but those assumptions were debunked awhile ago. Authors started to write them like that WAY later in their versions.

LeFlaneur

I'll leave it at this: just take the time to think over what you're saying, the concepts you're invoking, and how they line up with what YOU present. ✌️

Jmaine

In violet's defense she did say she wasn't there to "fix him" but rather offer support in him trying to build something new and better. And that he had loved ones also willing to do the same, but that he'd cut himself off from everyone.

Vino66

@TD. That's fine, but my whole point is that this is a whole MADE UP world with SUPERPOWERS. The notion of some level of equality is very odd to ask for at that point. IN REAL LIFE, of course stuff like skin-color segragation and supremacy is weird and stupid.

Q

27:01 bro the change in facial expression by Roshi lmaoooo i knew the next words out his mouth would be "Roshi Justice" related lol

Geno Guzzardi

Back in season 1, Black Adam was on the Injustice League. I don't remember a single line of dialogue from him and think he's just supervillain muscle in YJ's setting.

Ashley Hazley

Y'all should react or at least watch Overly Sarcastic Productions video on The Pure of Heart trope. It explains exactly why Brion killing his uncle is seen as bad and why Batman doesn't kill the Joker. So y'all can stop jumping on Brion is right booty 😉 train.

Mozart Waddell

Roshi wasn't hearing none of that from Sheera towards the end 😂 I can't say he's wrong. Brioche is my favorite character in Young Justice. I'm glad he can go to extremes for the good of mankind. He can be extremely violent and kill you if you threaten his people yet show extreme compassion to metas, non-metas, his countrymen, and even his old team the Outsiders/Justice League.

CJ Dennis

Most of the women of this show look good, especially the ones with long hair and no red lipstick 😎.

Yanpo

I mean, long before the hero ever reaches that point where they are killing people for any reason, the citizens are going to start worrying for them. You and I know who these super heroes are. We know their hopes, their dreams, because we have the inside scoop into their more deepest thoughts, and desires, but the general population does not have this perspective. As far they are concerned, Batman is just creeper in a batsuit. Not even their friends know these heroes the way we, the viewers, do. So when you see a hero going around being judge, jury, and executioner, and everyone just lets them do it, how do they know that one day that hero won't just kill someone they love and simply tell everyone that they were a deranged criminal that needed to be put down. Hell, the population doesn't even know the identities of most of these heroes in order to investigate them and arrest them.

AmpLvX

Why did nobody acknowledge the fact that homie with glasses came around the corner stole johnny then came back to stop Brion's convo with the governor dude. I commend him on his efficiency

ThatOneGuy

Well in that case why don’t the government executes the villain’s the clearly won’t stop though that fixes it

Isaac

Doesn't the guy with the glasses have the ability to manipulate people's subcociousness? Like if some part of them, even if they're suspicious or doubtful, is there their head, he can bring it out of them as the dominant decision? I worded that wierd lemme give an example. I would never steal someone's money, but deep down I kinda wanna because I need it but I won't do it. Guy with glasses comes to me, asking me wouldn't it be nice to have that money because I really need it, I suddenly say yes and now I'm not worried and I go for it because he dragged up that part of me that did wanna steal.

Yanpo

Based on what people are saying, it appears that that is exactly what he does.

Isaac

Looked at the comments. Yes that is what he can do. The perfect power for an Adviser. The ability to manipulate people by directly advising their decision making.

Yanpo

Even if Viola was just looking for power and money in a partner, considering how powerful or potentially powerful Viola is, the difference between a gas station clerk and Super Powered King is rather insignificant.

Red

I see Roshi's point but at the same time, they still doing shiesty shit behind his back and bullying tf outta ppl because of his actions so.....yeah...he still gets his shit tossed around like last season

Overlord Saber

Bro imagine that, you finally off the thing thats been tormenting people/you and just being a menace. Then the world ends solely due to that

212

sheera mad af in the thumbnail 😂😂

Yanpo

I'll be honest. I know Beastboy is a shapeshifter, so some of his coping mechanisms would be unfamiliar territory for an expert in the field of psychology, but seeing him shapeshift into a green replica of his emotional support dog would worry me.

Geo Rockmann

You guys probably forgot but at the end of season 3 it was revealed that the ambassador has the meta ability to convince people with bad decisions

CJ Dennis

Her superhero name is Looker and she lives up to it lol. Maybe they should put her with Cyborg or something lol.

These Plums

Moral of the story: Get yourself a Black Queen

Isaac

Why. I think your just going overboard in the imagination department because you can worry over basically anything you don't need to worry about since there's nothing wrong with him playing with his dog as a dog which he's probably done with other animals in his life time since getting those powers as a kid. And if I'm thinking what I think that you're thinking that's making you worried because you didn't explain what made you worried then ew. C'mon.

Isaac

I feel bad for Brion because I can tell it's not his fault. Well, it is and it's not. His good intentions after his agreeable fuck up (The guy had to die, he made it clear he would never stop.) is being heavily manipulated by forces he can't feel or see with his and everyone's subconscious demons being dragged out by that advisor's meta power and it's making Brion's relationships with Vi and everything he's working on complicated and heading toward the wrong direction because dude is basically making a meta human military country. That metapower the advisor has despite it being considered a low-level psychic-type power is a serious problem because once the person makes the decision, he's swaying them to make, it has long term consequences on them because they believe they made the decision and have to follow it up. No take backs.

delete

bet you ain't say nothin about dick being with zat rocket and artemis

Tim Chaos

I’m assuming Chameleon Boy (?) is Martian, but that was because he was in a Martian form at one point which, thinking about it, isn’t much proof for a shapeshifter lol

Tim Chaos

I don’t think the Kryptonians are super powered yet based on their reactions to Superboy telling them about the Yellow Sun thing

Thallon

Fun fact: There is actually a lizard that shoots blood out of its eye as a defense mechanism

Yanpo

Because it's unfamiliar territory. I already explained it. O.o She shouldn't just accept this methodology without investigating first. That's what a good psychologists does. Part of the investigating would go into probing Beastboy into the reasons why he shapeshifts into his emotional support dog, and part would be in discussing things with other shapeshifters. We already know that Martians have peculiar but acceptable ways they cope with things thanks to their shapeshifting, so it stands to reason that Beastboy would also have peculiar ways, but Beastboy is still fundamentally human, and his shapeshifting doesn't work the same as the martians, so this requires additional attention.

neoplansc

kryptonoians are pretty nasty without the yellow sun as well. Before they became pacifists, they were conquering galaxies and shit

CJ Dennis

Someone brought up that the scissors at the end credits is actually Plastic Man, nice touch 😎.
