Time for the movie! ehhh, what is it called? lmao

Comments

Jose silva

To me this was the saddest arcs out of all of them, he basically lost one of his two sisters.

HarmonicsAsmr

The tittle for the movie is rascal does not dream of dreaming girl

Julius

Since y’all just watched EEAAO, y’all should react to “Sorry to Bother You”. I think y’all will love it.

Mob K.O.

PLEASE CHECK OUT WARRIOR ON HBO MAX

ElswSwine68031

I think the movie’s called Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl

HarmonicsAsmr
>>84875786

Also we will potentially get a season 2 the reason for not getting one for a long time is because the author took his time with it realising 1 volume per year and we now finally have enough material for a second season

miranda lol

its probably unlikely, but i hope y’all decide to react to stranger things s4, its so good !!

ElswSwine68031

Idk if you guys realized it but the ed this episode was all the other versions of the eds put into one

Aidan Navarro

Y’all gonna have to dig deep for the movie. I had to go on some boof ass website to find it. Reddit should help though. Definitely watch it though it’s peek.

Maroki R6

Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl Movie.

N1ckv3n

Why so many people say that its difficult to find the movie?

Mari
>>84876522

Where do you watch it at?? Because I can’t find it at all

Prime

people actually answering the question lol

Psi47
>>84876522

Because it is. You have to dig DEEP to find that movie lol

Psi47

The movie is still painful to watch lol. I went through crazzzyyyyyy emotions while watching it.

wavyesper

THIS NEW INTRO SOME HEAT

miss millie.
>>84876522

really? i just went to my normal anime site and watched it. it wasn't hard to find.

Mist

Rascal does not dream of a dreaming girl. I beg you to watch it

Leon
>>84876384

just when I’d forgotten about it again 🥲

darnay mayberry

yooooo and i was just wondering, the other day when they were gonna update the intro. that shit was fire

Kollie123

It was a nice touch to see Kaede read the diary and realize how there for her Sakuta was

These Plums

The person he knew for 2 years is dead. I think one of the strongest emotions would be grief.

Friendly Elites

i am once again recommending madoka magica, the entire series is just S-tier reaction material

Jaden

let’s go bro that new intro is fire. i can’t wait to see you guys watch that movie, it had me in shambles but it’s such a great movie. i’ve watched it like 4 times

Friendly Elites
>>84879034

man i gotta say it is so hard recommending madoka to new watchers because you legit cannot say anything about what makes it so good without spoiling all the parts that make it good. Anyway if anyone does watch it make sure you view episodes 1-8 of the tv/bluray anime then watch the 2nd and third movies. Skip the first movie you lose 20 minutes of the story if you watch it instead of the tv anime.

Knightly
>>84879034

i agree wholeeee heartedly that they should watch madoka magica. extremely S tier

Knightly

Whenever you can you gotta watch Madoka Magica, elite shojo anime. the series then the 3rd movie.

Chris Tercero

Next duo reaction recommendation… Quintessential Quintruplets

Snehan Pandey

Rascal does not dream of a dreaming girl

Nigzshi

Y'all gotta watch Horimiya

N1ckv3n

Yes Horimiya or Quintessential Quintuplets or Oregairu next

Fiber

Now you know why Mai-san is top tier Best Girl

Ice
>>84882379

yea both are goated but i feel like quintessential quintuplets dropped in quality the 2nd season or is that just me.

ANIMEMUSE

Devil is a part timer

Zachary Jackson

I wouldn't say Sakuta mourning the loss of "Kaede" was selfish. Kaede's new personality was basically a different person and naturally after becoming a big brother to that new personality you can imagine how heartbreaking it would be to lose that person even at the gain of getting the old personality back.

Theralyst
>>84882379

Not just you. Depending on how you look at it. Animation was good for 2nd season but the anime heavily rushed through the source material, skipped a couple big moments, and completely ruined one of the big reveals

Ice

Oregairu = sigma pick

George-Calin Petruța

Thank you for reacting to this! Horimiya as the next double reaction would be amazing. For me it was such a refreshing story. :)

Sun

I can't believe people are actually answering the caption lmao. Patreon Nigga's dense af to not understand a joke.

eastbaynick

The movie will resolve some questions you have

Wrëck

I love when shows make fun of the ugly crying and running in the rain 😭😭😭

Dave

The movie hits the feels, be warned

Paras
>>84881721

Im surprised they havent already, fairly popular and really good too

bayance

even though he knew her for only 2 years, he still lost a little sister. Him mourning her is definitely understandable.

Liudmila Duk

day 27 saying that the trio react to kanata no astra

Tazz

Would love Oregairu it's a really good show

Salty MF

oregairu next to replace bunny girl

Coping McCoperson

If you guys are going to replace with another romance show, Oregairu would be awesome, or even Oresuki, a romcom with the greatest antagonist in all of anime history no cap

Adiuva

Another romcom that I definitely enjoyed would be Horimiya.

Mari

I recommend your lie in April 🔥🔥

Salty MF

btw have they watch anohana or plastic memories?

JsnSkg
>>84887614

That's just putting it mildly. More like it rams into the feels like a freight train.

JsnSkg

My romcom suggestion would be Wotakoi: Love is Hard for an Otaku. Actually adults in that one. Would be a nice change of pace. Also VERY relatable.

Room

After watching the movie, please do oregairu, quintessential quintuplets, or wotaku ni koi. Any of the three!

Snehan Pandey

yeah you guys should try oregairu or golden time both are SSS tier

Mari

Golden time is another good one

Trent

Horimiya plz its great

Danny

oregairu

Mari

All these options are good that people are recommending, wouldn’t mind any of them 🔥🔥

Jay Lopez

i wonder if you guys will can try fruits of grisaia

Oh Alone

Roshi, Did you react to “Black Lagoon” yet ? It is the same LV anime as “Samurai Champloo” which I recommend you guys react to.

Gabe

One other thing about Sakuta's grief about Kaede is that he is the only person to know both Kaede's. His parents dipped out. His dad only showed relief with Kaede's old self returning, I think that is why Sakuta starts mourning right after his dad's reaction, cause he is the only one of his family that really cared that the 2-year Kaede existed and took care of her the entire time.

Denickart

Pet Girl of Sakurasou is another good one. It's by the same writer as Bunny Girl Senpai.

N1ckv3n

Fruits of Grisaia on the next poll? That show is fucking fire🔥

Ash

Ngnl movie first perhaps?

Gigi

to replace the duo reactions yall should def watch fruits basket or chihayafuru

NecDW4
>>84888380

Absolutely. Even though she was a secondary personality he always treated her as though she was just as much a real sister as the original. Its not hard to understand why he'd be legit broken up after losing her.

returntolife

i feel like there should be some show submission forum prior to the official polls.

CarbonDog

Kokoro Connect hits in the same vein as this, would recommend

returntolife

i cried too when i first watched this. i could only imagine how depressed MC felt after spending all that time with this new Kaede. Sometimes I think what if she didn't overhear her dad's conversations with the doctor and wasn't aware that she wasn't the "real kaede" if the dissociation would've lasted longer.

Vayne
>>84918607

very wholesome show indeed. art is good too. lot of impactful scenes

Vayne
>>84942277

oo i also recommended KC after they enjoyed this a couple episodes i think. they just gotta make sure to watch all 17 episodes cause only watching 13 is terrible

HentiDenti

I think its more or less that everyone left him with kaede, not that he isnt happy that the old one is back it's just that for 2 years he had someone who was clingy, someone who relied on him for every one of their needs. Having someone be stuck to your arm like that and having someone do something repetitive for years and then to realize that thing or person is suddenly gone can strike a lot into someone. Not that he isnt happy just the constant state of same routine year by year being broken in a single day and your mind knowing that it wont be the same when you come to terms with something can kind of mess you up I guess.

FireBuffOP

Did you guys drop Komi?

Douglas Wolfe

Yo this is my first time seeing the new intro! Its so dope, I love song and animation :)

Vansu

Horimiya is one you should defiantly watch!

MatchStickWick Box

The show has a specific perspective about Kaede that I think most people miss. The show treats Kaede with her memories, and the Kaede that existed in the two year gap as two separate people. The Kaede within that gap took on a different name, became a different person, was developing into someone new and original. The MC had basically swapped out one sister for this new person, and when the new Kaede swapped back again, it was very much like new Kaede had died, someone that he had come to appreciate like a sister in a different way from the person he’d known up till she came into his life. They had a special connection, and while he should feel great about the old Kaede returning, it’s still a trade. A life for a life. And because of how dependent new Kaede was, in a way, his bond and dependency on her being there to be someone that needed him inadvertently grew as well. I fully believe that taking care of new Kaede is one of the largest anchors that kept him sane through the constant ostracism he had to go through thanks to simply being hospitalized.

Antares

His grief wasn't selfish. He lost somebody he spent a chunk of his life with. It's like having a very close friend die of course he's going to be extremely upset and struck by grief

Jay Lopez
>>84910425

who cares if it is? I still like the show. Stop saying discount monogatari to every show that is similar.

Monta

When is the movie

IzzyFrmNy

where the movie it’s been two weekssss

Sinovuyo

Still waiting for the movie 🍿😑

Sackosorken

Any movie reactions in chat?

Navastro

I may be late to the party, but just wanted to say that the comment about Sakuta's grieving being selfish made me angry. If my loved one dies, is it selfish if I grieve? Kaede post amnesia is a completely different person that Sakuta got to know for 2 years. That person is now gone. This Kaede died. It is basically a life for a life.
