He can get better. Bacta tanks are a thing. Also a saber to the gut isn't necessarily instantly lethal. Cauterizes the wound so he won't bleed out. ALSO FUCKING DARTH MAUL GOT CUT IN FUCKING HALF AND SURVIVED. So why assume the inquisitor is dead.

It's really unknown if she killed the Grand or not. Because he is alive in the animated series which takes place after all this. People have said that because other characters have survived worse and the fact that his race have two stomachs, so he may be out of commission for a while.

I just hope the GI has a duel with Reva before the end of the series. I think I'm fine with him being sidelined. Arrogance was ultimately the downfall of Plageus, Maul, Vader, and Palpatine. Palpatine died the exact same way as GI, turning his back to a subordinate.

There's a reason the Rule of Two was made. I don't agree with the reasoning, but it was basically because of this. Sith have a habit of murdering each other. It was considered an acceptable practice, but you had to make sure you didn't get caught. The Rule of Two made sure this only happened when the apprentice was ready to take over the role of master. In theory anyways. In practice there was certainly a lot less murdering and backstabbing, but it still happened cause the master had a habit of having multiple secret apprentices, and many of the apprentices would adopt secret apprentices of their own, resulting in a number of premature backstabbings.
