when Ishigami says tsundere-senpai, the subs usually say "Miss Mood Swings". But when it says "Poor Miss Mood Swings" at 22:48 Ishigami says kowason-senpai instead, which means "breaking senior". Just to make you feel a little worse for Maki.

Cooking manga is an entire genre, but Soma is the only one that really caught on in the west (mainly because it ran in Jump). It doesn't help that a lot of the longer ones never got an anime. Iron Wok Jan is on like its fourth sequel series and Addicted to Curry ran for nearly 50 volumes (that one even gives you recipes for all the various curry they make). There's also stuff like Yakitake Ja Pan, which is basically just Soma except it doesn't pretend to take itself seriously (the "foodgasms" originated from this series).
