Yes, Roshi they frenched. That's why the ballon blocked the view. Japan has some rather eccentric censorship rules. One is they cannot show kissing with tongue in broadcast. Which is why the Tsubasa X Kashiwagi kiss was light blocked, It doesn't make sense considering other stuff they are allowed to show. But, there it is.

The show cut out a lot of her family troubles and how she was in the past, so it makes sense why it seems like she was exaggerating when she said she saw everyone as tools before the President. The next season should give anime only that back story though

One of the best anime episodes of the year so far, which is saying something since we’ve had AOT, Demon Slayer, 86 finale, Spy x Family all this year as well. This year is too stacked. But for this episode, Direction, animation, writing all S tier. Easily the best episode of a romcom I’ve ever seen.

I think they hinted season 4, because near the end when the music was playing, they showed the minute hand of the clock tower points at IV. Not sure if this is correct, but if it is, that's really cool!

This ended on chapter 138. There's currently 267 chapters. So at this pace, there will be 3 seasons with 12 episodes. OR, possibly wait until more chapters release, who knows, then it's 2 seasons with 24 episodes

The after credits stinger was kind of nonsequential compared to the manga. Don't wanna spoil too much but the "dual confessions" wasn't just Kaguya & Shirogane but Ishigami & Miko & Tsubame. The final panel of this chapter in the manga was Miko holding up the necklace with the ominous narration "And thus, the seeds of the next conflict were sown", after being told that unclaimed items in the lost & found can technically be claimed by the "finder" after 3 months, the same amount of time Tsubame has to decide on her feelings for Ishigami.

Bruh this show is just a romcom, but every episodes are so fckin enjoyable, the directing and ost, characters complementing each other, humor that may or may not be your kind of humor but nonetheless. Not gonna be just a romcom for me, but one of the best damn it

Trust me, it only gets better from here. MUCH better. Honestly, I wouldn't be able to hold out if I was you lol. So many flags were set up during this season that will soon come to fruition in later seasons. Miko, Tsubame, Ishigami, Kaguya's family, Stanford, Chika's Ramen side-stories, etc. And it's not like everything ends after someone confesses. That's when the true battle begins! The War has only just begun.

Oregeiru, YLIA, Fruits Basket, and Horimiya would be great options for the next poll if you want some more great Romcom/Drama. I saw someone recommend Domestic Girlfriend which would be an entertaining watch for us at least if you're willing to check out some trashier series. If you really wanna see some awful "romance" you could always consider Scum's Wish (another one where at least I would find your reactions far more enjoyable than you would find the show). Looking forward to the next series and another season of Kaguya!

The anime only touched on it briefly, but the two journalist girls have a whole spin-off. The joke in that series is that they're both extreme Kaguya fangirls. One is a hardcore KaguyaxShirogane shipper, while the other is a man-hater who despises the idea of Kaguya being with a man. The girl who got hit by the "beam" when she saw them kiss was the shipper, which is why she considers it a holy sight and starts spouting bible verses

Kaguya didn't lick him, she shoved her tongue in his mouth. From her lack of experience and only ever seeing making out from the hornyest couple in the show she thought frenching was vanilla kissing. That's why Hayasaka was freaking out, Kaguya basically started their relationship by doing something I guess Japan considers isn't normal until couples have been together for a bit.
