the corinthian not saying his name got me thinking: why not just make up a name? tom, bob, something? is it that they cant lie directly? studying his conversations he doesnt out right lie. "i have a job for rose" but when asked what the job is for he is silent. "barnaby wont be coming after you" never saying a lie like "i talked to him and he promised never to bother you". at best he is speaking vaguely not bluntly telling lies

It did happen a little different in the comics. Gilbert's message to rose was to call for Morpheus if she needed help and it was Morpheus who saves her from Funland.

Yeah it was a bit obvious; I get him following the Corinthian but no way the childlike urge to explore overrides trauma of being told to stay still. Definitely was for the plot, but it flowed well and now hopefully we get to see Morpheus finally clap the Corinthian.

Episode 11 felt more like a Sandman episode than episodes 7-10 did, and I enjoyed those episodes for what they were, but their tone were vastly different from the rest.
