I think She-Hulk had a great premise of workplace/superhero sitcom, but the tone was uneven and the best comedic moments too sparse. It kind of reminded me of the DC show Powerless. I’d love to see Jen, her boss, Titania, Bruce, Abomination and all those d-listers in other projects, though I don’t think I’d check a season 2 of this show. I’m not mad about the show’s themes, but other series pulled that off way better; Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Fleabag, Parks and Recreation, Insecure, among others. This show (and other recent Marvel show) relied too much on major cameo hype; my favourite moments mostly involved d-lister clowning with Titania, Immortal Man, Runa, Frog-Man. MCU shows that I’ve been most excited for have been mid, and the others I wasn’t particularly interested in have been surprisingly really enjoyable.

I had a feeling when this show first came out that Jen and Matt were gonna have a battle in court but I thought it was gonna be for a high profile case and last more than a couple of minutes. This was great too cause they had a good vibe going on throughout the episode.

As many have probably told you the suit is comic accurate. It was Matt’s first suit (I believe he sewed it himself). Eventually he moved on to the all red one. Jen has been obsessed with cap since episode one. She was talking about his butt and his sex life in that episode. It makes sense she’s have America’s Ass as a wall paper on her phone. Of the two, I think it’s tied for most people slept with. Matt sneezes and a superhero ends up in bed with him same for Jen.

Not gonna lie as fucked up and true to life what the villains did is it kinda makes me think of them less seriously they just feel like a incel Reddit group and less like supervillains who have secret labs and serums shit but overall the ep was great

If this is what She-Hulk looks like when she loses control, then I think the world will be okay. Don't have to sing her a song, or knock her unconscious. Just ask her to stop, and she just stops. Didn't even hurt the bad guy. She's more destructive when she's not mad. She needs to work on that though, and I'm glad someone (Matt) finally told her to stop doing that.

Couple Easter eggs yall missed: after Jen takes Matts mask off and she asks him "so who are you" you can hear the theme song from the Netflix Daredevil show in the background. This kinda indicates that he is the same Matt from those shows. Also when Nikki comes over to help her woth her look for the gala and Jen says it feels

If they do a season 2, I hope they stop the 4th wall breaks. I know she does it in the comics, but it's just not working. It's weird and takes me out of the story. Deadpool can do it because he has much better writers for his films, and he is a wacky character. Jen is not a wacky character.

It's actually interesting to see a hulk being bound by the rules of society, not saying Bruce isn't but he's notorious for just smashing and dipping. Jen wants a normal life so she'll put up with society's bullshit instead of being an outcasted untouchable superhero.
