You know the old cliche of the bad guy becoming weaker when they turn good, they really did the reverse for Mob here and he was already OP as a good guy.

Seemed to me like Ritsu came to a very logical conclusion given the circumstances. Not really rocket science.

So...his desire to see his crush has his other self on a war path to the park...what happens when he finally sees her lol. He would be fulfilled at that point.

I like that they showed Suzuki already left his family once to go conquer the world before so seeing his kid being sad again made him change his decision. Kinda cool too because it was Mob that gave him the 2nd chance to redeem himself and be with his family last season. Also Ritsu realized that if he give his brother another trauma in hope to stop his rampages will only make Mob suffer even more in the long run.

Last season Suzuki was him with 20 years worth of stored energy. So he's definitely not as strong as last season because he used all of that power.

This episode was so packed, with Suzuki's fight to Ritsu facing off against Mob... I really thought both moments were sweet, Suzuki realizing he was about to abandon his son a second time around before throwing in the towel. And Ritsu trying to help his brother... Even if both failed, they got some closure. But I am hyped for Reigen to reach Mob~!

@Meemo don't forget he was absorbing some of Mob's powers in this fight so it's possible he brought himself close to how he was last season. I sincerely think one good blast from Mob unrestrained is close to the power he was storing for 20 years.

These past two episodes have had all the typical cliche buildups to an event like this, but then they keep hitting us with these wonderful curveballs at the end. Each time you expect the interactions to end a specific way, and it does, but they take these dynamic turns that can only be done by a series that has taken care of it's characters to this extent.

100% mob is not using all his power. If he went ??? against Suzuki he would've ended the fight in minutes. Mob couldn't change nor beat Suzuki, but he didn't lose to Suzuki even when Suzuki was at 100% with years of stored energy. ??? would fold him any day.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but wasn't that bc this dude's power is to store energy? Then when he fought Mob, he eventually was using basically, if not all of his power. Meanwhile now, he probs doesn't have as much stored up as then. So I'd wonder if that would be put into consideration
