The Raid 3

Comments

Zatch

This was the most plot armour filled convenient BS episode it literally drops in quality here

Zatch

People in this comment section using anime excuse for in-universe inconsistency has me crying

Yolo Samurai

The game you were wondering about (not sure if anyone said it already) was Mahjong. Not the flip tile games that most people know, but the actual poker esc game. There is an anime called Saki where they actual play this version of the game that got me hooked awhile back.

Desto Samuels

This is fantasy. In real life a military nigga would have been dead in less that 15 seconds if actually this scenario.

Desto Samuels

The comments on this really shows me how shit writing gets propelled into the mainstream and approved. This episode had absolutely horrible writing. On one hand you got kids in the comments trying to prove how it's realistic for a ex military guy to survive multiple niggas with guns & knives. In reality he'd be dead in less that 10-15 seconds at most. On the other hand you got people justifying Arisu's actions when really and truly he's been a pathetic MC both seasons. They established him as some smart kid in the first episode and then gave him the side character, cry baby seat the rest of the series. You all really need to learn what bad and good writing is cause shit is ridiculous. Don't even get me started on Niragi even being alive, he served no purpose continuously coming back other than to annoy the viewer. This is why anime is best adapted to live action with little inspiration instead of full adaptation, this shit is corny as hell but I guess I can't expect weebs to understand and or agree.

Desto Samuels

If lupa had a gun among that crowd he may have actually had a 95%chance of killing that shit villain who was written to practically be plot armor Vin diseal

Desto Samuels

@Zatch it's actually painful how braindead these niggas are in the comments. I'm convinced they are either kids, people who don't leave their house, or just people with actual brain damage.

Hughjass

Depends on what we're talking about. I wrote that before they got into the ally fight. But give someone trained an automatic vs civilians with a variation of guns that more than likely don't have a clue how to use them in an open area where you have to be more precise? I think it would be alot longer than 15 seconds. I'm not saying he would win against all but them numbers would go down quick.

DeAndre

Then why did you watch the show if you had so many problems with it? Talk about waisting your life

ZeroText

I'm going to let you in on a little secret, The writing isn't why this show went "Mainstream". Noone applauds Saw for its writing either. Its a thriller with interesting death games that force people from very different walks of life to clash together and change eachother for better or worse, thats what is entertaining about it.

Koosha Mokhbery

Yo, Desto, I feel like if you don't watch ep 8, you could say that the show had "poor" writing in ep 7 or whatever, but literally, if you watched ep 8, you would be able to piece together why and how what happened in ep 7 was even possible lol, as ridiculous as it may seem.

Kaylan Hussein

Why does the MC have to be badass and always right? why not make them weak and stupid sometimes?

Brobi-Wan Kenobi

"This is why anime is best adapted to live action with little inspiration instead of full adaptation" It's actually the opposite in this case. The show, this season in particular, diverges heavily from the manga. Arisu doesn't just stand there listening to Niragi talk after he shoots Chishiya. Instead both he and Chishiya go hide behind the cars, Niragi tells them they're gonna have a battle royale, and then the shooting starts all while they're caught in a huge storm. And the big fight against the King of Spades isn't in the manga at all. Only Aguni, Akane, and a middle school kid named Dodo go up against the King of Spades so Arisu never moved Niragi or Chishiya behind the cars. And since she didn't get stabbed by the King of Spades when Arisu and Usagi go into the last game together she's uninjured. I do like the show but the manga is way better and more realistic. None of the ridiculously absurd plot armor that happened in this episode.

quxntum

he wouldn’t be dead because only 2 out of the 6 actually knew how to fight. we can only assume he’s high rank or else he wouldn’t be king of spades so no it is unbelievable nor impossible for him to beat 6 niggas when only 2 of them can fight. on top of that one of the fighters is a female so her full strength isn’t matching his full strength at all.

Tirzah

Finally found the, "Shoot him! Shoot him now!" part from the Youtube intros. I was wondering where it came from.😂

Myst

you must've been watching something different cuz even outside of games this show was fuckin amazing

Myst

terrible ass take, tf, even the bitchiest of bitch boys will pull the trigger on some1 that's been trying to kill them, morals or whatever tf get out of here

C. J. Ramirez

They almost lost a 6 vs 1 with a super soldier 🤣🤣🤣

GigaDirt

I know I'm late but your statement is peak unintelligent. It's a reaction, they reacted to events in the show, never said they hated it. Just expressed thoughts on the show they are watching. It really is that simple

cami ً

this episode fucked me up a bit ngl

Jonathan Reyes

Lets goooooo i just got off from work! Lets all sober

Sera

Bro had a personal vendetta against Kuina

Norrin Radd

This is the episode that made this season epic! Episode 8 is the episode that made this season an instant classic! What an incredible way to end a season that started slow and just kept getting better.

Sun

Kaina of the Snow Sea is going to be the sleeper hit of the season, I'm calling it now. Only one episode out so far but I can feel that shit. Just like Bocchi last season. When it blows up, come here and let me know how right I am.

Josh

The horse

Greg Posey

Mahjong is the game they were playing. It's pretty fun actually!

MonarchXIII

Y'all hating on Arisu not pulling the trigger like a shotgun easy to hit at that range and killing someone does not cone easy to some people, even if it's for survival lol.

Shu

I dunno why you even wasting your time typing this out tbh.

Kingmakaii

Roshi you got to realize the way that one nigga movie 9 times out of 10 bro ex military the way he moving and the shit he doing he had training bro these just some regular ass civilians vs basically a military trained nigga lmao

Bones

The alley fight would've been the highlight of the season for me outside of Kyuma but I couldn't suspend disbelief anymore.

YaBoyRoshi

but......he shot him just fine from that distance lol. Its frustrating to watch someone hesitate to stop a person thats a KNOWN VILLAIN with no good intentions. Like, there wasnt even a question of whether or not he was a bad guy

FiioArt

THAT GUY IS REALLY HIMOTHY

Barbara Mcfadden

Arisu is a clown sometimes but imma stick beside him 😂 He’s too kind for this world lol

Infinity

i been waiting for this episode. I knew they were gonna yell the whole time japan should not do gun stuff lol.... last episode gonna melt these guys brains cant wait.

EzePeezy

When the pro Cod player lowers his KD so he can get bot lobbies.

Patrone07

That dude was so annoying the king of spades must be a fucking cyborg no way you get hit by a car and all shit and not only survive but still fighting at full strength is total bullshit this is the only episode that actually made me feel rage

MonarchXIII

Yeah I know he shot just fine but I was just making a point that it's easy to hesitate and/or take a while to take the shot since it's a shotgun lol. And I know he's a villian and that he's a known villian, just that some people have that mindset is all. Trust me, if it were me I ain't hesitating shit lmao

Peachie Mellow

AYO HAPPY NEW YEAR BUT SERIOUSLY F🌸CK THIS SHOW. WHY THEY DID MY BBYS LIKE THIS??? 😭😭😭 The savagery, the clownery, the fiasco of it all hit hard this episode. I’m sitting here laughing crying and screaming at the same time. What was the creator thinking when he decided to do this to us?

Davon Thomas

This is the best episode of the season, really saved it for me, the rest of the games weren't really as exciting as the first season.

Peachie Mellow

SHOUT OUT TO THE DUDE WITH THE D23’S LOOKING LIKE MICKEY MOUSE BUT STRAIGHT UP CLOWNING LIKE GOOFY 🤪

ADHarris12

This episode really just goes to show what somebody with the training and resources(ammo) can do against those without. It would have been fair for Aguni and Kuina to jump him themselves, but they had to avoid getting shot and the unfortunately stabbed. Also, shooting isn’t as easy as media makes it out to be

Zeke

I feel like some ppl misinterpret the scene with the king of spades saying "Sorry". He wasn't talking to Aguni, he was dying & started getting delirious & re-living a memory of him in a similar situation to what he's in now. It's the enemy soldier from his past that he was apologising to. Aguni just thought he was talking to him.

King Tayo

This episode pissed me off so bad lol literally was screaming at the tv

armaan newaskar

I agree. I’m not trying to sound like a manga dick rider but this scene and this dynamic in general is way better handled in the manga. Arisu, while still being a good person is more selfish in the show, whilst Chishiya is (while not as bad as Niragi) way more morally ambiguous. Also Niragi is wayyyy smarter. For the King of Clubs game even tho in the show he did nothing in the manga he was the one who came up with the plans and was borderline the mvp. So when this scene rolls around, Niragi feels like a waste of space instead of a direct rival to Arisu and Arisu choosing not to kill him feels way stupider. Cuz originally it was a rejection of his own selfish self by not killing Niragi, but in the show he’s not selfish so it’s just like “who tf cares, just shoot this mf”.

Zeke

Is that something made clearer in the manga? I haven't read it in its entirety yet, but I noticed how it cuts out a bunch of context that causes people who see the adaptation to get frustrated with character actions.

Jacob

Honestly I’m just upset niragi is still alive. Everything else is fine but the fact he still fine is ridiculous

Ranginald Vagel

Wait y’all never heard of Mahjongg? Anyway the show turned Niragi into a b**ch, in the manga he isn’t whining about not being the majority or whatever and claiming not to be the villain, dude literally says and I quote, “I’ve made up my mind. I’ll continue living, despised by others. I will continue to incur hate, and hold my head up high as I go to hell!” Dude was seriously on that joker shit

Ghost_Troupe

Actually, when it comes to survival, killing to save your own life, or the life of a loved one is very easy. We have millions of examples of it throughout history.

Ghost_Troupe

It's funny how movies have led us to believe being "military trained" makes you some kind of superhuman lol that's rarely if ever the case. Soldiers bleed the same blood that we do, and can often times be more pathetic than you may realize.

Brian Wilson

king of spades would give solid snake a run for his money lol

britt

this ep had me on an emotional rollercoaster

Bones

Arisu lost all his swag in one episode. This mf Niragi tried to rxpe Usagi twice and tried murdering you and your friends multiple times. There's no amount of moral code, principal, ideals, bullshit you can say to justify not trying to kill that fucking zombie on sight. Even if he didn't want to kill Niragi for personal reasons, he had plenty of reasons to kill him on behalf of his friends.

Jacob

@Yaboyroshi I mean dude has never shot a gun his whole life, him shooting niragi from that distance was just luck Which was fine ig BUT I do agree NIRAGI still being alive after all that and Getting SAVED is borderline retarded

DatKid_Kaneki

he had a heavy set of padding and a under padding, he got hit with the front of the car on his back padding. it just braces him better

Kingmakaii

I get that I’m talking his reflex how he was able to dodge the arrows and and the way he was fighting them no regular ass civilian fighting like that only somebody with training doing that 😭

David Palacios

Man I really wanted to see that King of Hearts game. That look so interesting to use the concept of fear in a heart game.

Patrone07

Bro are you serious there is a thing called impact damage not to mention the explosion that followed we not even speaking on everything else that followed after

AndrewDAHL

I feel like I had to keep reminding myself that Japan has a very different standard with guns. My Dad taught me how to use a gun responsibly, giving me a lot of different expectations, while Arisu just be picking up a gun off the ground after basically zero actual operating experience. I'm honestly surprised he could even load the shotgun. The standard/culture around guns is probably also the reason that some of the firefight scenes are so baffling. All in all, it's a fascinating perspective on how the characters think guns would be used. Another part of it is anime energy, talk no Jutsu is stronger than logic.

Jae Lashon

Listen it's an "anime" is literally what I was saying this entire episode since it's based off a manga LMAO like suspend your disbelief or whatever y'all be saying XD Arisu's extra "kindness" toward Niragi. Everyone being shot multiple times and still able to talk... yeah suspend that disbelief pals

Sughandi

Lupa acting like he would be able to do something in hand to hand against this man LMAO

Ren

Did you guys forget that Arisu is some random nerd that got thrown in this situation, that nigga wasn't going to hit anything. Y'all putting too much expectation on him. Mf lived a cushion life up until a month ago.

JEONLVR97

apparently the scenes where usagi and the others were fighting the king of spades, most of them do their own stunts and can fight really well in real life. so to see this scene and knowing this info, it makes me have a lot more appreciation for this series, hands down.

LA

Aguni is the only other one that was military but even in military there is even more training when joining certain areas

Riku

the infamous episode…. In the manga, only aguni, bow girl, &another side character were part of the final stance to kill king of spades— I loved how they brought everyone together and the fight sequence was epic but it felt too unrealistic with the mass casualties he did like idc what kind of military training you have, there’s no way anyone can do that well being jumped by 6 people who have weapons and some training lmao. Also everything y’all said about niragi is a huge gripe I had as well

Erica Collins

Nah the King of Spades was TOO nasty. That choreography had no business being that insane & stressful. I loved & hated every second of it lmao had me on the edge of my mf seat. Whoever choreographed that 👏🏾 & I swear this is the loudest y'all have ever screamed & moved in your seats lmao that's when you know it's intense 😂

ThatOneGuy

I understand king of spade had to be nasty but that bullshit nasty to me,dude got out of the brawl unhurt like he was fighting kids

SnailSpray

This episode really was just like annoying to me. so many instances where you had to suspend your disbelief. so many chances for things to go differently, the king of spades fight had to be one of the dumbest things ive seen in a while

Zion Noland

Seriously though, Arisu is holding a shotgun..from a pretty far distance away from his target like every time he is in a shooting situation. Also gun culture over there is just so drastically different from over here.

Simone

After this game I started to wonder if people can only die by 1) playing a game or 2) by suicide. Because everybody aside from Arisu should be dead and Niragi should have been dead. But since they all had not died from injuries by the time the game ended they are still alive. And Niragi and Chisiya weren't hurt by playing a game so they are alive too.

Jacob R

The fight was fire but everything else in the episode was a huge L

Charlie baker

This man said zanzibarland, homie called him solid snake lmao

Ketsu

what? so you'd rather have the people around you to die before you kill a pyscho to protect them?

earthphoenix7068

I'm pretty sure vests eventually get less reliable when they take too many shots.

earthphoenix7068

Yoooo this dude was a Diamond Dog before the Borderlands aint no way

Kisuke01

BRO WAS SHOOTING LIKE THE PORT MAFIA 😂. Also least favorite episode they really killed off everybody.

Ranginald Vagel

Lol it’s funny up until this episode the manga was probably less grounded(as art it was able to depict wilder situations that would strain a tv budget and get a bit surreal depicting how the characters saw the world), but the way they did Spade in the manga was a thousand times more believable. I give the adaptation a pass though because amazing execution

Drake Rage

That was some of the best action sequences I have seen in a while. The King of Spades all-out close quarters combat was top tier.

Ranginald Vagel

Wait a minute that’s not fair to the manga the adaptation handled the King of Spades completely differently, as with many of the games Arisu and Usagi never even fought the King of Spades, it was just Aguni, Akane, and a completely cut character named Dodo.

Sauce Sorcerer

Fr, I've personally never been shot whilst wearing a vest, but I've heard the impact of the bullet still leaves you tender. Now amplify that to the force of a car ramming you, ain't no way a vest is doing anything to cushion that bro. If anything his legs shouldve been toast

Zi Liu

The game at 7:12 is Mahjong is from China, a very popular game.

13

Ok context time! The entire fight sequence never happened in manga. It was originally Aguni’s crew against King, leaving Arisu and Usagi being the only ones in good enough shape for final game. King was mercy killing, but he wasnt apologizing for that. He was hallucinating about having to mercy kill his teammate in the original world, and thats who he was apologizing to here

Ranginald Vagel

Yeah that’s the problem, in the manga Arisu never had an easy shot on Niragi like he does here making him look stupid, he needed the distraction Usagi gave to not get blasted because Niragi was immediately firing on Arisu after blasting Chishiya and he had to take cover behind a car the whole time. I have no idea why they forgot to make this actually make sense lol. I’m pressed at how many times something the adaptation did stupid gets blamed on the innocent manga lol

Reigen Sama

All the MCs were getting fukd except our side character "Arisu" seems to be alright everytime. Thought Arisu had one strong point which was intellect but Chishiya was ahead in that aspect, he should have been the MC or Aghuni or Kuni or anyone except Arisu.

PrinceSinfall

if this man isnt at least a cameo in the next jhon wick i dont want him

Ranginald Vagel

In the manga he is actually saying someone’s name from his cut backstory, so yeah in the manga he’s hallucinating as he dies(Aguni doesn’t have to shoot him). I don’t believe this is the case in the adaptation as he’s lucid enough to hand Aguni a gun. In the manga he’s not even really aware of anyone else as he dies.

envy

last i checked... arisu put a big gaping hole in niragi with a shotgun. HOW TF IS THIS BITCH STILL BREATHINGG???

envy

there is not a single decision arisu made during this episode that wasn't completely wrong 🤦🏽‍♀️

envy

and WHY TF would he bring an INJURED usagi into a HEARTS game when he knows damn well the risks?? and for what benefit?

Wallet

CHRIST so much self inserting acting like you would of done better ROFL

Henderson C

Lol can't get over how they've been here for who knows how long and through tough games, but they're all so clean. Fresh makeup, hair done, neat clothes...

rickie woodson

"nothing beats a gun bro".......clearly roshi has not been introduced to sorcery and super powers. #superman #jenkale

Gabriel Jimenez

Not sure if anyone noticed this, but they fked up on Usagi's legs. They wrapped the leg that was only stabbed 1 time, then she proceeds to walk on the leg she was stabbed in twice and the knife was dragged upwards.

Ranginald Vagel

I double checked, in the manga Niragi barely survives as well, it makes more sense because the gun Arisu has in the manga shoots birdshot, which doesn’t penetrate enough to instantly kill. There’s no Arisu telling Usagi to do anything, in fact Arisu is the one asking Usagi what to do next, and she replies that she wants to see if Niragi and Chishiya will live if the games are cleared.

rickie woodson

i know yall had niragi but i cant rock with ya. to quote a wise woman: i dont know this man, im sorry to him. the only people i remember from the beach are mad hatter (the hot one) and the ball nutjob with the sword (the cool one). every time he is on screen and yall are dogging him out im like "why do yall remember this nobody lol and why the hate". its wednesday all over again where i was so bored by taylor i didnt pay attention to him and so never suspected him as the hyde. if you dont interest me? erased

Starling

its not explained in the show but you needed two people to play, thats why there were two chairs set up already when they showed up

rickie woodson

plenty of reasons: morals, forgiveness, grace, compassion, goodness. its ok to be a good guy guys. stop listening to what the white man says you should be and tap into the TRUTH of what you really are. #africa #theancestors #lovenotwar

rickie woodson

agree to disagree on arisu taking the L and this episode being stressful. naked hottie arc aside, this season has taken a dip in quality for me from season one and i havent been enjoying it as much.........until this episode. hands down the best episode of the season. i LOVED IT! every moment was so engaging, interesting, fun, emotional, gripping like it was ALL THE WORDS. and the alley way fight scene against mister immortal? EPIC! this is what i come to the show for: high stakes, characters you love and root for, game of thrones level of any one can die, top notch fighting and acting, and great cinematic filming. no complaints for THIS episode from me. 10/10. saved the season and now im hyped and invested again into the show

Victor

I hate Niragi but he didn’t shoot Chishiya for no reason. Keep in mind that Chishiya is the one that burned him and got him all messed up so he did that to balance the scale before they really started shooting.

Wrëck

Bro this show is so bad with dmg calc like a nigga destroys his hand and bleeds out but the nigga dying all season coughing up blood and then shot in the chest with a fucking shotgun is still breathing? This episode had mad action but I’m not gonna lie that wasn’t enough to distract me from all of the dumb shit 😭

Salmonero

I mean the show started off with a guy literally knocking out a Tiger 🤨 it's pretty clear it follows Anime rules

CJ

And yet he did hit him. And the important thing is not about him being able to hit Niragi, it’s that he didn’t even attempt to shoot him on sight and even let him monologue and shoot Usagi before Arisu even attempted to shoot him

oOxReConxOo

this show is based off a anime so it has the anime bs...… I don't understand how you guys haven't understood this yet

Lamaree Jackson

Reminded me of the Snowpiercer movie when they tried to jump buddy with the gun. Octavia Spencer did all that talking and screaming just to get immediately shot lmao. Clownery

dash✨

it was inevitable that we would get some anime logic here even if it’s ridiculous since it’s based on the manga 😭 they kept him alive for this moment even tho i didn’t really like how they sent off my boy chishiya :(

Red

King of Spades real name is Him

Shu

but whats important here is WHY he finally hit him, He could not bring himself to actively take a life for himself but when someone elses life was at stake he managed to get the resolve to pull the trigger. I can respect the selflessness.

Red

Look bro heres why shit went down the way it did: King of Spades= Him Arisu=Protagonist Plot Armor You cant clash Him with Plot Armor they cancel each other out

Wallet

Why the fuck are you spoiling a mystery on Wednesday?

Vincent S Deluca

I mean it would make less sense for Arisu to just pull the trigger. He’s never used or held a gun before today and his entire thing is valuing life and trying to end things in a way that doesn’t require bloodshed. Him just ending Naragi like that, no hesitation, would not make any sense. Also doubt any of y’all would actually do as quick as you say if actually in the situation lol, loved the reaction tho, been waiting for this Ep lol

GoldenBoy

I think yall should note that that was a real Shotgun Kento Yamazaki (Arisu) was shooting the director wanted the scene to feel realistic and with a shotgun in the hands of a noob Kento had to on the spot fire a shotgun for the first time and give a genuine reaction for the scene it may look stupid in the show but if you keep in mind that this scene was an actual person with zero experience with a shotgun makes it more realistic loading and facing recoil was all something kento had to experience first hand so for me as stupid as it was that missed with the shotgun I can understand the both the scene and why it makes sense in the show

WhyWaitChris

I was waiting for this reaction and it did not disappoint!

A. P.

This King of Spades mf was Japanese Michael Myers with a gun and Arisu is the worst MC of all time, bro might have Takemichi b*tch ass beat forreal

CapnHook

@JiraHyuga Right bro, like right when I saw they got sucked into an alternate version of japan with lasers in sky that murder people I was really hoping it would be realistic.

Haaa?

ngl this episode had me so tight. This whole season had me mad at arisu ngl. All the talk no jutsu lol

Stagger Lee

King of spades got all his stats on max

Shu

I stand with the Homie Arisu. He is just too good for us.

Bones

He can barely stand for himself let alone his friends. I'm not judging the manga version cause I know there are differences. In the show he became a moron in one episode. What kind of a friend let's someone try to kill and rxpe their friends and does nothing about it? Screw his morals, Niragi should've been shot dead or at least shot at when his mummy ass pulled up and shot Chishiya.

Shu

I think the episode was trying to play off of the last one where the guy from Beach basically sacrificed himself for his Ideals and same with the girl who was the Witch in season 1. Also I think Arisu would gladly beat his ass but to actually go for that killing blow is not something he has had to do before and sadly nothing something he would do for his own sake.

Bones

I can understand that, and for some weird reason he couldn't pull the trigger for himself where others would have. My problem is that he already had reasons to kill him for his friends. Even up to the moment Usagi appeared, he was ready to kill her because he couldn't get what he wanted from her, at that moment Niragi should've been fired upon before he could raise his gun, he clearly meant to kill her based off what he said just before he shot at her.

Shu

Yea, at the end of the day they did it as an excuse to get Chisaya out of the last two games. I am sad though that for whatever reason Arisu was just dumbed down in general this season. For example the game with the King of Clubs. Season 1 Arisu would have had a much better plan than that

Bones

Chishiya felt more like a main character this season. I'm glad he got more screen time. All in all the season was decent imo, but this episode just annoyed the hell outta me.

Devin B

All the shooting games Arisu played did not help when it came to the real thing.

Josh Mr.Fire

So him aguni and katnis in the forrest at night tryna jump the kos was the same day?

Galvs

My man Aguni has the precision to shoot a little can while turning and falling backwards from the second floor but cant shoot japanese John Wick in the head lmao. Either way it was such a fun episode even with all the nonsense

6CatsInAnAlley

Chishiya had the opportunity to shoot him but didn’t so it’s not all Arisu’s fault

Gmoney

this is another level from military training this guy is like on some high level mercenary, Aguni prob stronger but this guy has way more training and technique

Champion Bescos

It’s not selfless, it’s short sighted and selfish. He’d rather keep his hands clean than do the practical and logical thing and take out a person who enjoys hurting others and will not stop doing so.

Psi47

Here's what yall need to realize. 1. Arisu isn't going to kill someone for the sake of killing someone, even at his own survival. That's how he's always been. He didn't want any of the creators/citizens to die, he didn't want Niragi to die (at least by his own hand) nor anyone else hes played with. That's who he is. It's a defining trait that readers of the manga and viewers of the series admire about him. Arisu isn't lame because he won't actively go out of his way to kill someone, all he wants is to clear the games and go home with his friends. 2. The plan wasn't for Arisu to go out if his friends were in trouble and help them out. The plan was for them all to lead the king into the store for Arisu to blow it up. Plain and simple. One more person wouldn't have changed the scenario by any means at all. It would have been a TERRIBLE decision to run-out at the first hint of trouble and end up getting shot in the process. Then who would lead him into the store with the bomb? Arisu came out because he was done on his side, whereas everyone else failed in leading the King to the store for the plan to be executed. That's not his fault. He did his job, everyone else failed on their part. Lupa's condescending comments about Arisu being in "shock" are SUPER CRINGEY. If Alice In Borderland was a WW2 series where Arisu is a trained solider going out to war, nobody would mock him if he was going into shock in high intensity situations. So why would it make sense to make condescending comments about not only the writing of his character but also the commenters/patrons who brought this up to yalll and know that Arisu is a 26 year old socially awkward Japanese shut-in thrust into a plane of reality where he has to play death games to survive?

Gyro

Arisu this ep up there for top 3 most useless mc of all time

Cube1

Casually asking Arisu to kill a man. Not everyone is built like that mentally, some people are built with morals.

Cube1

You're reaching. You're now saying it was selfish of Arisu to not kill someone to protect his own life, and only kill that person to save someone else's life? Are you good?

Phroug

I DEFINITELY agree that Arisu was useless for most of this episode, but for the points where he misses the shots isn't on him at all. Like I know that you guys are used to MC Plot Armor, but realistically Arisu is a loser who did nothing but play video games all day, there is no way in hell you are going to hand him a shotgun and expect him to hit targets that are 20 feet away

Jae Lashon

I honestly have not read the manga and my comment was mainly just jokes. But thanks for the info, I wasn't tripping too hard on these things.

Hughjass

See? Everyone refer to this episode when somebody tells you "yea we can beat the military with numbers and civilians have guns too." See how they got fucked up?

Sum1s0mewhere

We can all agree the MC wasn't him specially this episode. Aguni was the MVP and the rest of them except the MC.

DjinnBae

also you trying to explain not killing who has been harassing and being a menace to everyone the entire show. responsible for hundreds of dead people is not work killing. then you need help. this was just a generic anime trope

DjinnBae

horrible defense ... this literally a show about survival of the fittest .... he was was weak minded and hesitant. MORALS arent logic

DjinnBae

this episode is so clown shoes

DjinnBae

the queen of heart took Echidna from re zero whole flow

Frederick

King of Spades is Madara Uchiha in disguise

Davido

I dont think hes saying that Naragi isnt worth killing hes just saying that Arisu isnt a cold blooded killer and he finds it hard to pull the trigger and take someones life. Thats just who he is. He been like that the whole show and I imagine a lot ofpeople are like that

Deku Kana

Nami and Robin headasses

Preston Bryant

This is my favorite reaction of the year already

Lil Uzi Vert

what soap do ya'll use to wash your dick and balls?

Sham3ful

Ong dawg was mixing them up meanwhile Aguni aka Guy Sensei was just throwing hands back

7/10 is a solid rating, I think it is for me too

As soon as there's no games involved, the plot fucking disintegrates. This is painful, I can't believe this is a real show.
