It does feel weird seeing Deku just float through the air instead of taking big leaps. But that’s just because Naruto and other shows conditioned me to think like that. Also it saves on animation, so the fights can be better.

The way deku said Detroit smash in this episode, so calm and collected it's the first time he's been so dead set on just doing the work, without any strong emotions taking control thus muscular couldn't handle the sheer determination that drove deku this time around. It's so cool to see but so somber at the same time.

I am at the intro on this vid but when Roshi mentioned Deku being on his own now, suddenly something hit me and this can very well be true so just incase... potential SPOILERSS SS ASD ASD so Deku is on his own acting like a vigilante... and guess what? Stain, the original vigilante, took up his sword again....... Man can you imagine a Deku+Stain team-up? OMG OMG OMG... I am literally shivering thinking if this actually happens. Edit: I feel so bad for Izuku's mom. Y'all remember how she used to look before she got stressed out from Izuku being sad about not having a quirk? She gives him so much freedom to follow his dreams even though it kills her to see Izuku get hurt, and he gets hurt A LOT. Mad respect to her man, an amazing parent. Edit2: Damn they literally show you how she used to look, it makes me super sad, she is so worried about her son but doesn't want to get in the way of her son following his dream but damn, look at all those scars on her little boy...

Man, this adaptation is mid as hell. The entire show should look like the intro does by this point. I need a more muted color pallets and darker bags under Deku’s eyes, the aesthetics seriously don’t match the vibe right now and it’s hurting my immersion. Kinda lazy directing, but more or less par for the course with this anime. Crazy that the OP can adapt it better than the show

And fair enough, I’m not gonna go panel to panel, to check it for accuracy, but I’m talking about aesthetics and tone here. I never said “the sky should match the panels” you retard. I said the aesthetics should match the tone, and a better directed should would attempt to do that. No one ever said it had to adapt 100% accuracy, because that’s not what an adaption is for. Granted, it’s probably a bit bonkers to completely adjust the color grading of a show this late into is production, you got assets and budget to consider, but that doesn’t mean this isn’t sub optimal, and I’m allowed my own opinion on that. You know what else makes me feel like this is a mid adaptation? Stuff like that panel of BJ and Endie taking down that villain was an exact panel remake… which is why it’s kinda shit. Nothing is moving at all except Endie’s flame and Hawk’s mouth. Looks awkward as fuck for shit to be animated in a still like that. It’s like a glitch in a video game where the effects and move, but nothing else. That is legit objectively bad animation for the context it’s used.
