Getting older doesn’t mean your sex life has to slow down…it just means you’re doing it with more wisdom (and maybe better playlists) 🤣

One smart move that never goes out of style? Protection. Condoms aren’t just for preventing pregnancy…they also protect against STIs (sexually transmitted infections), which don’t check your birth date before making an appearance. Rates of STIs are actually rising in older adults, partly because folks think they’re “out of the danger zone” once fertility is off the table.

So, if you’re enjoying an active sex life in your 50s, 60s, 70s, or beyond, keep condoms and dental dams in your nightstand. Think of it as part of your sexual wellness toolkit (like lube for comfort, toys for fun, and protection for peace of mind) 🙏

Your body’s still capable of great sex. Let’s make sure it’s safe sex, too!

Guy

When J began having problems with intercourse we wondered whether she might have developed a reaction to my semen. For the first time and second time I in my life I wore a condom. This is when we found out that J is allergic to latex. 😬

I like the tool kit Idea, like Guy I've never wore condom either. Funny, I've been a handyman all my life and always have tool kits everywhere except in my night stand. Now I need a tool kit in my night stand, even though I'm not active with a partner. Never know when I might need the right tool for the job. As you say Doc. YUMMY!
