Thank you for joining us!
Your support is valued infinitely. More than 7 years ago, three friends met on a small Dragon Block C modded server. None of us could’ve imagined how something as simple as a Minecraft server would spark a friendship that’s lasted this long.
Every year or so, we’d open new Dragon Block C servers— always in Spanish, always hoping to bring our Latinxs together through a shared love for Dragon Ball and Minecraft However, some servers shut down because we couldn’t afford them, others faded when the player base got small. Still, every time, we tried to make a new one. We just couldn’t let go of that feeling— logging in after school, seeing people (or playing!) training, transforming, laughing in Skype.
When Jin Ryuu, the creator of Dragon Block C, passed away, it felt like the community was slowly dying too. His brother tried to keep it alive, but eventually, development stopped. That’s when we decided to pick up where he left off— not to replace the original, but to honor it in our own way.
That’s how DragonMineZ was born (around 2 years ago). We never expected people to like it so much— what started as a side project turned into something that kept us up late, coding, testing, brainstorming, and playing together just like when we first met.
Almost a year later, our little mod has grown more than we ever imagined (100K downloads already?!) — and we’ve just released the 2.0 Aurora Update. This means a lot to us. It’s not just new forms or quests; it’s actually proof that passion and community can revive something special.
The best part? We’ve decided to make the code open-source. We’ve always believed in transparency— no hiding & no obfuscation, just sharing what we love so others can keep building on it too for the future.
Thanks for reading, and thank you for supporting our project, it means a lot. You’re the reason this still lives.
