Just have to say, fantastic reactions all through this entire season. Really enjoyed your discussions and your reactions throughout all of it. It's always a lot of fun to see how different people react to all of these characters. It's a testament to great character writing for everyone to still be so invested even after 20 movie length episodes. Part 2 is going to be fire, excited to watch that with you all as well! The reason I like this ending is because it creates discussion. If it was just a normal happy ending with the leads going into the sunlight it wouldn't have made such a big impact. I think it will make the ending for the whole series that much better.

I look forward to your reaction to ep. 1 of part 2. You will be able to watch right away but we had to wait 3 months. For me, the break did influence how I viewed part 2. I look forward to what you think once you finish the series. Also, all the issues were caused by the previous generation using their power for personal gain. Now that things went sideways again, everyone is protecting their own interests again. And yes, Naksu and Jang Uk were dealt the worst cards (in the past and now with this mess).

I screamed the first time I watched this episode I also said I wouldn’t watch part 2. I hated that he died but his return was just sooooo epic that it was almost worth it.

i think they changed the ending so that they could make season 2 cause this show was so popular while still broadcasting but the main girl didnt want to be in the season 2 and people liked the actress of the original naksu so Go yoon jung, the original actress could be in the season 2 but i didnt like both the season 2 and this ending

I did the opposite and jumped straight into part right after I completed part 1. The end of part 1 was emotionally draining and traumatizing but my reasoning is that I need to know immediately how we're gonna fix this so I couldn't take a break between part 1 and 2

This ending was just so difficult to watch that I almost stopped everything but I was hoping it would get better with season 2 so I kept watching, but honestly it didn't feel the same for me. I swear i'm not hatiiiing, it's just that I was so damn attached to the characters that it pissed me off too much. But i see that I lot of people liked season two, so maybe it's just my taste.

This last episode was really something for me when I watched it. I wanted to find the writers and make them explain themselves. I was upset! I had no interest in the 2nd season even. But I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised when I eventually decided to move on to season 2. The ride is not over.
