18:30 - Didn't Dera originally have the medallion for waking Left & Right? I'm guessing he was originally supposed/planning to be the 'Handler' for the Twins they talked about awhile back.

Conversation about the contracts made me think of something. What happens to a Daemon's contract when the master dies? If Tadera's father was dead, then he could form a new contract with those Daemon's right? I take that as confirmation that his father is still around if he can't... or like you said, a compatibility issue with his own Daemon's there as well.

I think this is the running for being the most consistently entertaining anime (At least in this genre, comedy/romcom is a different style) in a long time. I think there are other anime that have greater peaks, but rarely is every episode consistently this 8-9/10 quality while also making you eagerly await the next episode. And usually, the ones that do have multiple seasons of build-up and emotional connection going for them. From the start, this has had a solid hook, very good writing, fun characters, interesting mysteries, appropriate build-up each episode, Even if it's not everyone's absolute favorite, I think you'd struggle to think of anything this series does wrong.

I think grandpa has a limit of 100 pairs, prolly something like Hyakki Yagyo as his main Tsugai, which lets him have all the others, w/ a 100 limit obviously because of the name. So far the author has used IRL ayakashi etc for all the Tsugai more or less, so it would check out, considering how iconic & beloved it is in Japan, as you can see from countless supernatural series that feature it in one form or another.
