I had never seen How to Train Your Dragon or the third Hobbit movie, so it was fun watching for the first time along with your reaction. Firefly is a show that I tend to watch at least once a year as kind of a comfort watch. Inception is one of my favorite movies of all time, so I'm glad you liked it. And I'm the same way as you about the true crime documentaries. I've seen the ads for the Ruby Franke documentary too. Don't think I've heard of her but was thinking about watching it.

This month I've been watching Invincible and Severance. Both have been great. If you liked Silo and Inception, Severance is definitely up your alley. It was the show I was most excited for this year. My favourites from what you've watched are How to train Your Dragon and Pirates of the Caribbean. Firefly is something I never would have watched if I hadn't been introduced to it here and it has been great. I love the idea of having an western be set in a futuristic sci fi universe and Firefly hits the spot for me. One of my gripes with sci fi as a genre is that it often has to spend so much time on a concept and establishing the rules of the setting that the characters never get fleshed out. Firefly has done such a great job at making the characters the centre of the story and still developing world they are in. Great month, great reactions. Well worth the subscription. Very excited for March.

So glad we could experience HTTYD and The Hobbit together! Firefly definitely has that comfort feel to it so I 100% understand why you rewatch it. I’m assuming you’ve seen the movie?

I think I’m going to need to watch Severance. Way too many people are talking about it right now and I feel left out haha. I also completely understand where you’re coming from regarding sci fi. Glad you’ve been enjoying what we’ve been watching here!

please do shrek 2 for the camera if you watch it, it's actually amazing and just as good as the first one. after that, super falls off. haven't seen 4

I just saw the sneak preview for shrek 5 and I won't lie, it kinda scared me. And also made me want to watch the others because since when did Shrek and Fiona have a full grown child?!

I just saw it too and I was like WTF? I just learned about everything after 3. I loved 3 and it was the last one I watched, I heard about the PiBs movies, but never saw them.
