I do plan to allow streaming, video recording and publishing of whatever happens in Plazma Burst 3 closed beta version.

Considering that, should I try removing anything that could be deemed as story mode spoilers in closed beta? Including weapons, vehicles made for story mode, gadgets, some of skins.

At the same time showing more could be considered a better feedback and take less time to prepare beta. Could be more interesting to participating players/map makers too ^

I'm personally neutral on this. Maybe I'm biased because I can't wait to show you what I've been working on for years.

Also, even though we do seem to have pretty chill people here this still can be relevant for some people:

- Beta does not have moderation/censorship/banning/reputation system;

- Multiplayer servers will be only hosted by players (no official servers for now). Which means server owner could obtain connected player's IP address and so can connecting player obtain IP address of a server owner.

It would be interesting to allow it, it could attract people to become more interested in the game, but of course, showing what is necessary so that all the content can be explored by new users.

I BEEN WAITING FOR 10 YEARS JUST GIVE AN OUNCE OF STORY CONTENT AND LET US PUT TOGETHER THE PIECES

Voted for dont show/remove spoiler content but I also wouldnt mind if we do get spoilers. Just personally prefer to get the beta out faster. Also about the IP part, as long as VPNs work without problems (as a defensive tool in case someone does want to do stuff with the IPs) I dont think its gonna be a problem. There is always gonna be that 1 guy who is gonna attempt something like this

I think having spoiler warnings for story content should be enough

Since you mentioned the servers being peer to peer, wouldnt it be good to have this as an option when the game releases? lowers stress on official servers and can sometimes help with ping

Showing some interesting stuff aka. spoilers wouldn't be bad to be honest, but the most interesting things in game that YOU deem most interesting shoulda be hidden. I mean, gotta make things interesting, but to leave best snacks for discovery.

I don't think you need to be overly concerned about people seeing some campaign related entities. Remember that most of us don’t really know what is campaign related and what isn’t. You could easily show us a vehicle entity that only appears in the campaign, and nobody would notice, aside from it being new. My suggestion is to hold back any major new content and features that you think would be best revealed in the full release. However, you should keep things like vehicles, gadgets, and weapons, as you've already showcased plenty of those. This way, you can keep the really exciting, significant features of the campaign a secret for the release while still allowing us access to most entities that you likely want tested by players. Will the beta include access to the editor or cooperative missions? That’s my primary focus, especially since singleplayer probably wont be a big focus in the beta for obvious reasons.

How long do you plan to run the beta? Do you think you'll do a tag or a skin for beta testers? :P

What about a toggle that hides spoilers by default, unless it's a hassle to add?

O

I think it would be best to try not to reveal entities you think will (1) be important to story mode at release with the surprise factor, and (2) be unique in function from entities previous games had. I don't think you need to be proactive in hiding this content if some beta testers show it in video or picture, as that would be a waste of your time. Just listen to your intuition on what would be best for beta testers to see and what wouldn't be. Also, by the way, I recommend you release these same polls using functions in Twitter or YouTube instead of attaching a link to the Patreon polls. It puts in place unnecessary barriers to extra data that I think you might find useful. You'll likely benefit from the extra time you put into each social media community by being equally engaged in each.

What is the expected release date for the closed beta program? also thank you for constantly developing the game and giving us the chance to play it and try it after long wait, and also to provide feedback and receive feedback/suggestions from us if possible.

Filipic

In my humble opinion the most important narrative material should be saved until a full/proper release.

hey eric! happy to see you finally made it to 100+! i am very excited for what you have in store for us, but a random thought crossed my mind, regarding the game itself - what is the current stance on liquid physics? will they be static completely like they were in pb2, or will they flow out if the terrain around them (like doors for example) move out of what would be the containment zone? if water becomes a movable entity, would we be able to decide between movable and static? P.S: Some kind of private test server of your own making would be neat!
