These are both such great episodes, I’m glad you watched these already. I left a lot of comments on the first two episodes, so here I’ll just say that there is a reason she keeps staring at her little finger- you’ll find out later (and it might be related to the story in episode 3- I don’t think anyone could randomly guess, so hopefully this doesn’t count as a spoiler lol)

i think that baby girl is the only princess at the time, the adults would be considered concubines of the emperor

Yeah, I think once they become concubines, they’re no longer called princesses, but many of them, like Fuyou, used to be princesses of wherever they originally came from- many are made concubines for political reasons (forging alliances and things like that)
