Okay, that last poll was a lot of fun. I'm on the right track and I don't need to swerve direction or anything. But let's turn the focus dial and see what you folks think...

Josh will be humiliated if it were up to you. I see that. How humiliated? . . . There are nine levels to hell . . .

I haven't voted yet but this is entertaining!

Chinookfan72

Assuming these stack I went level 4. I think we are at level 1 now and it would be nice to see humiliation turned up. I’m not a fan of femdom or feet licking, but the other parts of level 5 seem alright with me too!

Sitri

Sorry, I'm just laughing right now. KT, this is awesome.

Klemmohazard

As much as I like the chance to narrow it down, I hope you take this as more of a way to gauge what the audience will let you get away with rather than strictly go with these ideas. Most of us want to be surprised by how you take it rather than say, take it this way or that. Usually, I'd go as high as I can out of curiosity...but that level of escalation seems unnatural and feels like you'd have to extend the story another two books to do it, and I don't think the story can go on for that long.

Chinookfan72

Correction we can vote for more than one so I voted 4 and 5 as I’d like to take some stuff from 5 and add it to 4, but not all of 5.

Glaucon

Like Chinook above, I'm wondering if the intent is for each level to be inclusive of the ones preceding it - you could, for example, have a femdom scenario without humiliation in front of friends and family. Also, it's tricky and subjective what the sorting order of humiliation would be. For example, you could make the argument that public humiliation is more humiliating than private femdommy humiliation in the context of an essentially consensual sexual encounter.

Glaucon

Having said that, and assuming levels are inclusive, I'd hit at 4 (definitely hoping for the aspects of levels 1-3). Personally, I think naturalistic humiliation in those ranges is more humiliating than the stylized ritual of a lot of traditional femdom stuff. That is to say, level 4 can be level 6, 7, or higher(If that makes sense)! Of course it's all subjective!

Sitri

I think 3 is a definite and a given. He is questioning his masculinity in front of hunky muscular confident Devlin. Now that Kimmy is in a sexy bathing suit in front of him and his bully, Josh could start feeling inadequate. And, he's aroused already. Also, at the end of Book 6 Chapter 6 Part 2, Josh said Kimmy was toying with him. Soo......maybe some femdom? Lol. Light femdom is ok, I think. But hopefully not hardcore. Lol. KT knows where this is going already and we the reader will have to wait and see. I am so hoping tomorrow's release is longer! :)

Sitri

I think 9 is null and void. I'm sure Amazon has crazier stuff that what you'll include in this book. But then, I don't know what their requirements are either. Lol

JamesIsAsleep

First of all, HAHAHA, KT! Second of all, for as much game I like to talk about darkness I got scared after level 3 and it felt right. Thirdly, curious minds are wondering do you actually have 9 levels where this story could go and you just want to see which one we want to go with? Because now I'm seriously curious to see where it could go. KT, I know you're just littered with time (lol), when you've done your story can you share with us maybe your general stories that you would have gone with had we chosen a different route. If you're really bored, maybe even giving us the different directions in story format? Seriously though, I'd like to at least know what the different levels would have ended up in some top-level detail once the dust has settled. Give us the deets! What the hell is past level 5!?!

Mike Monroe

I vote 3 and 4..not for the humiliation in front of friends...that will be to far...and Kimmy would fully have turned to darkside..if that happen would wish for her and Devil in total ruination. Josh is being being played for a fool as it is. No need to do this in front of friend or family..the pitchforks should come out for the monsters.

Sitri

I just realized that the Devil in the Waters isn't about Devlin at all. Devlin is helping Kimmy unleash her inner self. Could the whole series be about Kimmy opening up to her sexuality and end up having BOTH men? In the end, she is the actual Devil. She ends up staying with Josh but he accepts his cuckold role and allows Devlin in their marriage? Could KT actually lead the ending of the series to a cuckold ending? This is just me babbling and wanting to share with you guys my thoughts.

CSH

Why not a level ten? Sheez, talk about whimping out! Dante couldn’t conceive of Josh’s pain!

Tracey52

Loving this kt. Glad we’re on the right track with you and with each other. A few savages in the group though. I’d go level 9 if it was Devlin getting it and not Josh otherwise I’m a 4.

Sitri

I'm surprised at how many votes there are for 5. Is it because of the femdom? I can totally see it happening too.

CSH

Lock him up! Lock him up! And make him blow Devlin! And........then all that other stuff.

Sitri

A chastity would be a bit much I think. Devlin tied Kimmy up back at the construction site or something and I thought that scene was pretty hot. If any type of bdsm is incorporated, I'd prefer Josh having to witness Kimmy's submission to Devlin tied up with a ball gag. Lol

CSH

Seriously, I think real emotional pain and serious humiliation is probably enough here. I’m with some others here, I’d like it to be extreme but want it to be believable. Mostly Kimmy domming Josh but I do think some of the domination needs to be Devlin to Josh. Devlin and Kimmy teasing Josh for having a tiny dick. Some time in chastity wouldn’t be too much but might not work for the story. Kimmy making Josh ask Devlin’s permission to have sex with her. Or maybe even Devlin making Josh beg him to fuck Kimmy. Creampies, and, yeah, I think the ultimate is Devlin making Josh blow him. That would be rock bottom indeed. That actually fits the flow of the story in my opinion as Josh is clearly obsessed with Devlin’s size. Probably too much, huh? Hey, take it where you want and have fun with it, it’s great to have you back.

BNR

This is exactly what I said in the last poll. Kimmy has turned heal. (To use a wrestling term) She might still be the main character, or it might be Josh. But I no longer see a "couple" in the classical sense. Unless Devlin ends up in jail or underground, is the only way I see Kimmy staying with Josh. Kimmy already chose Dev over Josh and therfore no longer sees Josh as her equal partner. Their relationship is now one of supply and demand. Their friends and family might not believe Kimmy capable of horrors she has already unleashed to poor clueless Josh. But if their sexual games were to come out, say some stray cell video gets shared, Kimmy is queen of the skanks and Josh is destroyed, PUBLICLY.

CSH

What level is this: Kimmy straps on a dildo and sodomizes Josh while Devlin sits on the couch and laughs his ass off.

BNR

I'm super against cock cages. I get that it's a power play, but orgasm denial seems harsh enough to me. I like pleasure. If you kick me in the dick or nuts, I'm not then turned on. The opposite would actually be true. Maybe because I'm not sure how anyone could enjoy that much pain...

Sitri

All jokes aside. I think 1,3,4, and 5 (light femdom if any is to be included, no chastity imo) are how the story might progress. And if KT still has a lot more planned then I think it only gets better because there will be more development along the way. If he's humiliated in front of friends/family then it may just be subtle things like Kimmy holding onto Devlin's arm. Maybe getting caught giving Devlin a kiss. Ignoring Josh all evening or something. Things to fuel Josh's angst. I can't imagine a chastity though. I see 3 and 4 as the main ones going forward. In a sense, everything is psychological. We the reader know but Josh is the character who doesn't know anything and suspects only. He's in the dark and everything is either Kimmy telling him or he's imagining it. Sucking Devlin's cock may be a ultimate humiliation and could be incorporated into Kimmy taking charge but to me, Kimmy getting pregnant would be the best. Kimmy and Josh stays together and they raise Devlin's child. The ultimate humiliation and betrayal. But for some reason I'm thinking pregnancy may be thrown out the window. Hmm....we shall see. KT, I've thoroughly enjoyed these polls and discussions. Whether it helps plan the next steps for the book or not, I liked reading everyone's input. Also, I have actually been waiting to see if the story gets any darker since this is a dark cuckold novel and I personally feel like it's probably coming. My angst is up.

CSH

The friends and family thing could be as simple as Josh’s friends seeing Kimmy and Devlin together and then telling Josh, hey you should watch out, we think she might be cheating, etc. Josh then has to be the one defending her and claiming there is nothing going on. He would have to make up a platonic reason the two of them are so close and chummy when he also believes they are screwing. I don’t think we should take that as Kimmy screwing Devlin in front of Josh’s brother or anything. I think it’s just everybody’s gossiping behind their backs.

BNR

I think of that party she showed up to *without panties* and how she could have been leaking Devlin if the situation was just slightly different. She had been grinding and teasing until she "took the plunge" with Devlin... I think that she could get pregnant and we never really know who the father is if: 1) She stays with Josh at the end, and/or... 2) If Josh keeps her after Devlin if shot while fleeing federal agents raiding his Offices. Even after it comes out she cheated with her boss and her husband's childhood torturer.

CSH

I think an interesting way to take this public aspect would have the three of them to publicly become ‘friends’. Devlin, in public not acting too badly around Josh, just constantly throwing around digs and barbs. Maybe a little too flirty and close to Kimmy but he charms Josh’s friends into being of the opinion that he’s a bit self-centered but a pretty cool guy. And there must not be anything going on if Josh is cool with him. Then they go home and Josh ties Kimmy to their bed so Devlin can brutally fuck her.

TF

Late to the party…given the relational immaturity of Josh and his unusually strong trust/love of Kimmy that makes him blind to every clue of her perfidy, my take is that anything in the realm of extreme humiliation would realistically be the end of Josh… like suicide or murder /suicide at the extreme. It is one thing to role play and another to be hit in the face with the reality of his cherished wife’s betrayal with his life-long nemesis. KT in her major novels has managed a high level of verisimilitude that persuades the reader to “buy in”. Going off the deep end humiliation-wise without ugly consequences would lessen its impact in my eyes. Just my opinion…I’ll read what comes down the pike...I need to know how it ends (ha).

Donkatsu

Agree, TF. KT also has a behavior code for her gals. Stepping over the line, think Nia and Jess, means serious life consequences - poverty, loneliness, loss of contact with the children. Obviously, Kimmy can fend for herself financially, but Devlin will never be a companion or support for her, and after having been abandoned by her mother, she needs that more than money.

Donkatsu

PS, that's why I don't beleive my own comment about Josh going nuclear on Devlin. Ain't gonna happen in this world.

Sitri

We probably shouldn't rule out that Josh could be bi curious? Just wanted to mention that.

Synk

There have already been a few scenarios that you could call femdom throughout the series, the best examples being the make-up handjob from book 3 and the after the party sex from book 5. We've even seen Kimmy enjoy the realization that she can 'control' Josh using his kink. Since chastity play is just as much a part of the general femdom world as it is the cuckolding world, I see no reason why we couldn't reach a point where Kimmy takes direct control over Josh's pleasure.

BNR

I don't disagree, I just REALLY dislike cages. (I'm getting dry heaves just typing about them, no joke) But her ruining Josh's orgasm doesn't rank as bad to me. Making him hyper sexually excited then forcing a weak cum is pretty harsh but not like locking Josh up. But the games that play could be pretty torturous to Josh. > Make Josh a part of the "fun" with Devlin but always with some level of deniability. A remote control egg that she where's when they go out with Devlin and Josh controls. > Special outfits that Josh knows she where's to work/events around Devlin. > Sexual challenges to accomplish near friends/family involving her &/or both men, like: -Flashing or streaking. -Or making Josh cum near or around Dev. > Time for a photoshoot! (my favorite) Use modeling and photography as a seduction tool to get Josh excited and maybe even have him pose then in increasingly risky poses. (since they arrived in Cayman, this had been my dream...)

CSH

All joking aside I’m down with realism more than specific fetishistic tropes. I agree this is “play” for Kimmy but it’s more real for Josh. I guess the question is whether this is a tragedy? They are addicts so they will likely all act compulsively and self-destructively when they are “high” and when they get the itch to get high. That being the case we should accept that Kimmy may unintentionally break Josh’s spirit irrevocably. But if the story is going to be more than the standard hotwife silliness it’s going to have to run real risks and that means real pain for Josh. And yes, like other addicts Josh may consider suicide when he realizes how far he has fallen. That doesn’t mean he has to do it. It may just lead him to be a harder more mature but very different person. KT has shown the willingness to end these stories in ways that are more realistic than other authors in the genre.

CSH

The alternate pathways idea is tremendous and would be perfect for the Patreon! The story as written here doesn’t really need to match the one KT sells publicly there. In a lot of respects it doesn’t even need to be a story on Patreon, just explorations. That might be a way to keep a certain branding on Amazon and explore other avenues privately. Those would just be drafts but they would be ways to try out ideas without committing to them. Look at the way we have responded to these polls.

CSH

Plus, this would provide exclusive content to the Patreon and would be an incentive to fans to sign up here instead of just waiting for the books. You deserve to get more out of the Patreon financially than you are now. This might be the way.

Wess

Hilarious intro KT. Glad you’re having fun with this. I don’t mind Kimmy twisting the knife a bit but in the end I want her to pay the price.

CSH

Ok, Ok, so I gotta say it if you’re gonna be that way... then she divorces him, castrates him, and makes him watch Devlin get her (and Karina too, why not?) pregnant on her and Devlin’s honeymoon. Is that a nine, already!

ktmorrison

I already know what's going to happen, but i do find this real illuminating and helpful!
