Hey Team,Slightly different one today, our Flix Legend Sterling requested a mashup reaction of some videos put out by the Fat Electrician YouTube Channel.Obviously this is a little different to what we normally do but we thought we'd try it out!The Fat Electrician makes humorous, fast paced, fact filled videos focusing normally on military matters and mainly American but does venture off into other fields here and there! In this video we have a combo of 7 of his videos: Weaponising Ice Cream, Underground Cheese Bunkers, Bat Bombs, Chicken Nukes, Unkillable Finnish Meth Filled Soldiers, Douglas Bader and the Real Rambo. As you can see, quite an eclectic mix!We hope you all enjoy!Much love,Lauren & Harry

As I predicted this was a great reaction! I am glad that you both enjoyed these so much. There is a reason that Nick has been called the greatest storyteller on YouTube. I hope that y'all will continue reacting to his videos both on his Fat Electrician channel and his other channel called The Fat Files where he does reviews of companies and more general stuff. So a couple of comments to answer some of your questions and comments. First, the ice cream... what can you say except lets all scream! LOL They actually made a reference to this in Band of Brothers. In epi 1 when they were all getting ready for the big jump, they get the message from Col Sink and Wild Bill makes the comment "So that's why they gave us ice cream." Just a fun reference for people in the know. Second the cheese caves. I have actually gotten to go into several of the caves. Including the one in Springfield. They have several companies that use them for cold storage and big 18 wheel trucks go in there all the time. I will try to find some of the pictures I have taken in there and post them in the normal chat. The security is not super restrictive, but they do have what I would call standard security in that you have to have a reason to be in there. I also remember getting "govt cheese" when I was a kid. Most people you ask will agree that it was GREAT cheese! Third, the bat bombs. I am sorry Lauren, I had no idea how you felt about bats... I am sure you took great pleasure in learning that according to that dentist bats are the lowest form of life in the animal kingdom. LOL Harry was correct about the birds used as weapons. Nick actually has a video where he talks about it. They were pigeons that they used for missile guidance. They were trained to peck to steer. One of those things that make you question how people come up with some of these ideas. Forth, the meth... I heard someone theorize that the reason he survived with that much meth onboard was the extreme cold temps he was in allowed his body to not overheat while on the drug. His heart rate and everything would have been astronomical but that theory makes a sense to me as someone that has only basic understanding of medical/biological processes. This one also ties into Band... This is my own theory and I have never seen any evidence for it. The "air sickness" pills they handed out for the Normandy jump I think were some other form of drug. I don't think meth, as there is anecdotal notes that it made a lot of guys tired. I am thinking some form of major sedative. But it just seems odd to me that the guys made a bunch of jumps without "air sickness" pills and their first time going into actual combat and suddenly they start slipping them drugs. A common practice during the war. I thought it was cool that Harry knew some about Sir Bader and was able to flesh out his knowledge with some extra bits. That is always a fun reaction to Nicks videos. And that Harry had heard of the chicken nukes. Finishing with Roy Benevidez made a round out of telling the story of someone great and humble that lived a life that we should all aspire to! There was really nothing great about him, except for his attitude. When someone needs help you help them! And you don't let anything stop you until you have done so! It is something that we can all do! There is so many more videos of Nick's that I can suggest. It is hard to pick just a few to introduce people to. As I said, I hope that you both continue to react to these and maybe expand out to some other channels that people may suggest. Thanks again for these absolutely fun reactions!

Oh man we remember that line in Band of Brothers! This pieces it all together a bit more 😅 Wonder if you can still visit the cheese caves, this is something I (Lauren) would absolutely love to do one day haha it is so bizarre to me I feel like I need to see it to believe it! hahaha I have a fear of anything a bit rodent looking so bats/rats are on my give me the creeps list! The translucent "skin" on their wings makes my stomach crawl 😅 Ahh he was right haha I will make sure we look up Nicks video on that and give it a watch! He is just so entertaining! It's really impressive, he has built quite the community. So true about Roys attitude, which makes it even more impressive since we he reflective enough as a young man to realise he needed to sharpen up his attitude if he was going to get anywhere! His story seems to good to be true but I love these types of stories that go to show the human spirit fighting till the very end. We will definitely watch some more of Nicks work and see what other crazy stories are out there 😅 Thanks again for suggesting these ones, they were a really nice mixture of comedy, outrageousness and impressive feats!
