We finally got around to watching this absolute classic of a Christmas movie! Somehow both of us managed to get through life without watching this, we had heard many good things but this movie was a truly special film. The end really got us, especially Harry! Thank you very much for voting for this in the recent Christmas poll!Due to the issues on YouTube this likely wont go up on YT this year, will save it for next, but so we really hope you all enjoy watching it here!We wish you all a Merry Christmas and enjoy It's a Wonderful Life along with us!The full length should be up alongside this!Much Love,Lauren & Harry

Mr Potter is one of the most hated villains in film. Possibly because people like that exist. He also doesn't really get a comeuppance which is unusual for a film from this time. The villain is sort of meant to get a comeuppance in films from this era as a writing rule. I think there's a deleted segment where Potter is furious that his plan didn't work, Clarence frightens him with his new wings and he dies of a heart attack alone in his office but they left it this way to not distract from the good of the ending. And also to say, "hey, the greedy wealth guys do succeed, but we can still beat them if we stick together"

This is such a good point! The villain often does get some sort of negative ending in the movies so it's interesting they didn't go down that route. Really glad they didn't though. It felt nice to have the whole town come together in positivity instead and focusing on that rather than the villain having some unfortunate ending
