this poll is MULTIPLE CHOICE so select anyone you'd be interested in!

it seemed there was enough interest to go through another director's filmography like we have with Tarantino and Kubrick - so I figured I'd make the process even more collaborative this time!

this list includes any director that was suggested on the posts where I had mentioned to leave your requests. many of these directors I've already seen one, if not more, of their films already (whether on the channel or otherwise)

after this poll, I'll make a smaller poll with the top contenders and also give any of my notes regarding what I've seen from whoever makes the list.

Voted Christopher Nolan selfishly, not knowing if you’ve seen Interstellar, but there are so many good options on this list so I am excited for all of them 😂

Joseph Olson

Too many directors to comment on them all, so I’ll just comment on one. David Lynch has made some great movies snd also some absolute dogs. Either way, expect weird (he didn’t get one of my votes).

I went ape and chose four! Spike Jones, Altman, PTA, and Cameron Crowe. ;) Would love to see a running of classic and running of international directors too :)

Myoclonic Jerk

I don't disagree, but the dogs are where the comedy comes from. Literally, in cases. 😉 Wild at Heart (1990) OO Spool: "My dog barks, some. Mentally you picture my dog, but I have not told you the type o' dog which I have. Perhaps you might even picture Toto... from "The Wizard of Oz." But I can tell you, my dog is always with me. ARF!"

Blind Entertainment

Way too many great choices. Had to go with Spielberg though.

Anthony Fumai

Even if you don’t pick Cameron Crowe, Say Anything and Almost Famous are two of my personal favorites that I’d recommend

I need to wake up earlier before starting my night shift. Got into work, logged on, read the words "Directors Poll" and thought "I'm not a director on this channel. How can I vote in this poll?" That was embarrassing. I'm going back to sleep.

Joe M

So many good choices, so my vote is a combo of great directing + a low number of movies. Camilla could get through Nolan's films quickly, and later we can move on to someone with 20+ films under their belt. 😁

go crazy! hahah - what are some classic / international that you'd be interested in?

I would have to say American directors Ernst Lubitsch, Preston Sturgis, Sidney Lumet, Robert Altman French: Jean Renoir, Marcel Carne, Matthew Kaasovitz, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Luc Besson, Michel Gondry Uk - Alan Parker, Carol Reed German - Fritz Lang, Werner Herzog Hong Kong - Wong Kar Wai :)
