this poll is another brilliant idea from an Executive Producer, Steve! he had the thought to do a poll for films with a 'cat and mouse pursuit' inspired by our furry mascot of the channel. 😸

have fun choosing!!

This is a great , great poll! I have seen all of them except Inside Man... granted it is early but THE FUGITIVE would be an excellent choice. Just about all of the choices are .. my 2nd pick is either Catch if You Can or In the Line of Fire ... these choices are that great

I haven’t seen The Thomas Crown Affair, but the rest all pretty good. Some better than others. In The Line of Fire and Catch Me If You Can have star power and have their moments, but to me the standouts are To Catch a Thief (Hitchcock), Collateral (stylish Michael Mann), The Fugitive (Tommy Lee Jones as a U.S. Marshal chasing Harrison Ford) and Inside Man (a Spike Lee joint). I’d love to see any of those four come out on top.

Not enough reactors watch Inside Man. Spike Lee films are always so unique and Denzel killed it in this one, as he does lol

You guys are way ahead of me ... these are all brilliant choices! I'm in luck this time!! My pick seems like it's off to a good start: "The Fugitive" (1993). One comment I would make, which is not a "spoiler" I believe: I checked with AI, and an interesting tidbit of info it said, on the TV SERIES "The Fugitive", which ran from 1963-1967 --- according to AI: "Its 1967 series finale was one of the most-watched episodes in television history." So a good tie-in if you ever get around to that Original TV series!

What Camilla does once in a while is present a poll on directors in which she reacts to a bulk of their films. Next time she does that , you can suggest Spike Lee.

Steve Holton

Thanks for posting this, Camilla! Hope you and Peanut are staying cool in NYC. 😎

Thomas Crown or Fugitive (or both!) you can't go wrong!

Blind Entertainment

All great choices, but I think Peanut should have the final say.

Early, but probably still going to be a valid comment: A long-distance friend & i play a game via text message - just a way to keep in touch, y'know - called "movie or film?" One of us sends a title, the other declares if they think it's a "movie" or a "film." Sometimes there's discussion. Per the rules of the game, it is made clear that movie is not an insult & film is not necessarily superior. And for the record, one of my absolute favorite things to watch (and watch a reactor watch) is something i'd call a movie ("Labyrinth" (1986), starring David Bowie's bulge.). Polls on this channel and nearly every other i follow are mostly comprised of movies, of course (there's 2 i'd call "film" on this list, but admittedly there's a couple i haven't seen). The forerunner at this time is "The Fugitive." So, my friends... "The Fugitive" (1993, Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee Jones): movie or film? 🤔😉

I highly recommend "Thomas Crown Affair," should you have the opportunity. Brosnon & Russo turn in some of the best performances of their careers, and the "twists" of both heists in the film are incredible.

Did you hear that flights at JFK were grounded for a spell this week because of the threat of tornadoes? Tornadoes. In NYC. This is the work of gypsies!
