happy Monday friends! I just realized a few minutes ago that it's also a holiday in the US - do any of you have the day off? I hope you're enjoying it if so!

this past week has been so busy between work for the channel and freelance work 🥵 we've planned a last minute trip to go up north and see the fall foliage next weekend, so I'm looking forward to a couple (hopefully) relaxing and beautiful days!

looking forward to this week's lineup, though - I haven't watched any of these yet so no spoilers please!

Tuesday - Guardians of the Galaxy VOLUME 2!!!! anyone who's been following along KNOWS that I've been (im)patiently waiting to see these friends again!

Thursday - The Mandalorian 3x5

Friday - horror/comedy winner was Zombieland! I feel like I have no insight into this movie, so I'll be going in pretty blind!

Sunday - The Thing - honestly same thing with this movie, I have no clue what to expect (other than horror). this tied with The Exorcist in our poll from a few weeks ago, and I've been wanting to see them both so there we go!

there will be one last Halloween poll going up this week (last call for any burning requests, though no guarantees it'll be on the poll)

YT edits in the works include The Exorcist, Doctor strange, and Scream!

I've also created a halloween channel in the Discord server - I'm trying to figure out a better way to utilize this! but, if you haven't already checked it out, feel free to! I was thinking we could have longer discussions about what we've been watching in that channel, but it's up to y'all!

Great week! GotG 2 and Zombieland are both very funny, and The Thing is a classic.

Hope the freelance work is going well and hope nothing foils the foliage. Please consider adding Tim Burton's "Sleepy Hollow" (1999) to the final poll if possible. Thanks! 😊

Grant

The Thing and An American Werewolf in London came out within a few years of each other and both have amazing practical effects (I know you worked/work in props.) Please do me, you and everyone else a favour... for the love of god don't watch the sequels to either of those films! The CGI is so bad in both they make the sequels to The Matrix seem almost watchable.

Zombieland is a near perfect comedy/horror movie. Forgot we were getting this reaction from you.

In honor of Mike Flanagan who is everywhere now with the new Carrie tv show and the new Exorcist movie coming up next year, my vote is to 'Doctor Sleep' to be included in the poll

Camilla's Corner

have you watched the show? is it any good? I still need to see that movie!

Grant

Oh dear. There weren't. They were nightmares I had from eating cheese at bedtime. Walk away! Nothing to see here!

Franco V.

I haven't watched the show yet but it has good reviews from critics and audience in RT.

Blind Entertainment

Great variety lineup this week! Hope you have a great trip, and all goes well with your freelance work this week! Also apparently it’s Thanksgiving in Canada today too.

And Zombieland gives you more Emma Stone (and a generally stacked cast). You just saw her in The Amazing Spider-Man & mentioned you liked her. Seen “Bugonia”? Low-key, wild film with great acting from Emma and Jesse Plemons.

2026-10-13 20:00 Ok, lil less tired but honestly, as much as I enjoy most conventional movies of most genre's , I doubt most would pick the ones I'd suggest. I'd pick ones that I know you've never seen or heard of, which means most probably haven't. Therefore, I seriously doubt most would pick the ones I'd suggest. Though, you and I are extremely lucky 🎬✧˖°🎞️⊱𝓒𝓪𝓶𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓪⊰≽^•˕•^≼! See your like the only creator out of 8 I'm supporting that has a Reactr account and is willing to do custom reactions. So now, much like in Clockwork Orange, I get to pay to prop you up to watch movies I want you to see minus the eye clamps as I want you to enjoy the shows! ( ≖‿ ≖ )Heehee Misery (1990) as I mentioned before is a classic, you might even find it, umm, mutually cathartic being a creator who has a lot of fans and all, LMAO *wink*. Watch the movie you'll understand all to well what I'm talking about.

However, I was pleasantly surprised, actually is a good story.. even majority of the rest of the franchise as well, yet the gore does get a bit excessively on the nose as the films go on. I'd say definitely worth the watch if you liked Scream.
