The 13th Floor is primarily poisons and curses.Give me some ideas for Relics that could spawn on this Floor, the weirder the better.I'll probably grab like 2-3 and mix/match/adapt them as Will is sorting through a pile of Relics. Maybe we can even come up with a cool soft-set!I like the idea of curses that do weird, hyperspecific things to the enemy, AND I like the idea of Relics that have strong downsides to using them, like the relic itself is cursed and demands a sacrifice to use it.An element of spookiness would be nice, too.I also like the idea of relics that modify Classes to fit the 13th floor better, like making a Ranger class better at hunting ghosts, or restricting a necromancer to incorporeal undead or curses in exchange for a power-up.you get the idea.I'll leave this up most of Sunday then use it to come up with a few items before we post on monday.

Thomasaurus Rex

An item that does whatever really, but the curse is that for every use you sacrifice the ability to feel hunger for a week or some period of time (it should be useful enough to make you want to use it more then the hungr cool down), you could use it constantly and never feel hungry, but if your not careful you could literally just fall over dead from malnutrition.

Joel Artes

How about a curse that makes dead skin cells grow inwards like hair and nails. Or a poison relic that effects both the wearer and the target.

Veracis

Relic that changes debuffs/buffs from targeted abilities into lingering spells. More charge = greater environmental saturation

Kote's chronicles

A curse that removes certain aspect of stats? Like you can't hold your breath for hours with it equipped.

Timur Ibraev

Relic of forgetfulness, it has a really good active ability. But you always forget to use it, especially in a stressful situation.

Stanisław Drewienkowski

Amulet (or any slot) of a prying mantis: exudes a powerful debuff stripping away a large % of enemies resistance if the user remains still for a few seconds. Basically a tank killer item when a user can perform an ambush, useless otherwise, the range of a debuff might scale with Acuity

HairyHermit

Inverted mirror; Passive, anyone who sees their reflection in this mirror has their motor control inverted for a certain time. Active; replace an inverted individual by their karmic counterpart from within the tower

war doggle

Relic that give extreme resistance to damage of your choice but you suffer from the worst single injury from that type you have experienced.

Kote's chronicles

Curse effecting various senses. Such as everything taste like cake, or you have tinnitus. Curse to lower poison resistance that you get from stats would be floor appropriate and valuable to climbers who want to get drunk easier as a trade item. A Curse that lowers stats but increases range or other aspect of a specific arch type. Cursed item that limits you to a single skill and locks your class but greatly reduces cost and increases power, range, or scope of that one skill. Illusion soft set that the illusions take on the form and "personality" of deceased individuals. Maybe people who died nearby or people from the climbers life? Would lose versatility of your illusions but potentially gain powerfully minions or just information. Scout type abilities lose the ability to differentiate between entities. Would really mess with map. You absorb your Eidolons memories and feelings upon their death / unsummon. Including pain. Has scout potential with obvious draw backs. Will has weird things considered Eidolons like his hand for weird interactions. Be funny if they found a item that is PERFECT to make the set from last arc even scarier that they destroy on sight or something. Maybe something to do with undead spreading psychic venom in their vicinity but it effects the caster too?

Cyrus McEnnis

Spooky cursed items huh? Pumpkin Helm. When worn, separates body from head. Creates a phantom skull attached to your body, and a phantom body attached to your head. Skull will act upon your subconscious desires with no filter whatsover, Phantom Body is totally under your control but can not interact with any physical object except for your head. Skull and Phantom Body count as ediolons. Recorder of Doom. A simple tuned whistle that drives all within earshot mad with anger at the "player" of the "instrument". Effect most definitely includes the player. Pocket Watch of Curse Accretion. Allows user to freely transfer curses to themselves. May spend charge to spread curses on user to all targets within a sphere centered on the user. All targets cursed this way also get a health boost from any damage caused to the user of the item.

Veracis

Ring that makes the wearer strangely fixated on the ring, but their presence is dampened to the perception of others . Mostly because their attention is also attracted to the ring

Andrew

Relic that lets you see miasmic structures but it weakens your eyesight every time you use it until you are blind and then it stops working.

Joel Magnuson

1. A shard that causes inverse effects but only to the wearer. Regeneration causes damage, buffs become curses, poison heals, ect. (Mostly i think this is so Will can trade it to Rot Witch.) 2. Big Bertha's Big Book of Curses. Sheild in the shape of a book.Hex your friends condem your enemies, includes everything from making someone's toe nails an inconvenient length to shapeshifting to making some one sentient ooz. Active effect causes random negative effect to chosen target or chosen effect to random target/targets. Passive effect randomly curses whoever strikes the bearer. 3. Rot Sphere. Can curse target/targets with rotting flesh, weakness, constant poison and pain. "Stronger" targets can resist effects. (Not sure if it should be passable or contained to chosen targets.)

Exrotes

Noxious Brigandine - converts any damage it blocks into poison on the wearer Agonizing Nails - throwing darts that curse any targets to divide damage between each other as long as they are pierced Wand of Chrematophobia (fear of wealth including expensive items) Quicksand Boots - passively convert everything you stand on in to the terrain of your choice, you are constantly slowly sinking into said terrain and need to keep moving.

Michael

Relic of mild inconvenience- When the user attacks a target, a mildly inconvenient curse also attaches itself to the target. A necessity to sneeze, misplaced footfall or weapon caught on a belt loop while pulling it off belt. Small things that as we’ve seen with the speed of fighting, make a difference

Federico

Helm of memetic resonance- the more someones perceives(see, hear even think about you) you, the more cursed they get

Garnett Coetzee

Domineering toxic cure: only one poison may be applied to user, any application of poison curse or debuff added twice the duration of applied affliction. Curing affliction will replenish health equall to potential health lost from poison.

Veracis

Kodoku Pot Can absorb any number of malignant spells, poisons, materials or organisms (limited to the volume of the pot). Concentrates the effects stored within at a focus cost of N^N charges(N = number of spells inserted) Encourages anything physically stored inside to attack, consume, subsume or dissolve everything else for a flat charge cost. Mix magical and physical ingredients at own risk.

Extra16

Ripleys Left Boot - Target keeps stubbing there left toe

Ed Je

Necklace of demonic chanting: your vocal cord are now owned by a demon, but your speach based abilities now scale by an extra factor of focus.

SirReality

Ring of Nociophobia: passive: you are unable to feel pain of any kind, including emotional Active: any pain you would experience is converted to equal intensity pleasure (Fear of pain) Lack of pain receptors is a real but very dangerous condition because people injure themselves quite badly without realizing, which nonetheless people often fantasize about. Then there's the addictive properties of the active use.

Siwy

For a solid soft side combo: A mask with a heavy filter that can make it so poison, curses and other negative effects breathed by the user are converted into minor buffs (While you would still be affected by the original effect, you could just resist it while keeping the buffs) You could then run it with any combination of "Air/Terrain around you becomes cursed/poisoned" Other than that, a soft-combo with his "fear is terrain" where he can now only manipulate fear but the scaling is increased and the likely hood of everyone (including yourself) around you falling into a state of fear is increased

Ariel

Relics that change up front damage into slow damage over time effects and vice versa. So you can choose how you wanna handle the attack

Ariel

A relic that forces two people into a dance off, judged by the system. Winner is immune to all damage for 1 minute

Ariel

Even better the judges are spirits of a haughty dancing troupe that might conceivably be bribable

Ariel

Oh and it's all swampy tribal themed of course

Ariel

Cursed relic that lets you switch one Stat with an opponent for a short time. Using it permanently reduces a that Stat by 1 after

Mirah H

Reverse thorn curse. When you take damage the user gains a 0.1% (% of choice) of the damage value to stats, so if you can outheal you could theoretically become really strong but it also makes you more susceptible to damage.

Arnon Parenti

Vampiric Count curse, it makes you dyslexic only for numbers, you literally lose your perception of scale, the upside is that it makes it almost impossible to predict your power, and you literally sometimes just go fuck this I know it should be 5 but my system sais it's onions so get your onions lightning damage you troglidite!

Arnon Parenti

The abominable Showman is a swamp creature that likes putting on a show, the relics he drops curse you with The Show must go on curse, which draws gosts to play as extras in your musical, as long as you sing and dance they soak all damage types for you, they also provide or become props to facilitate your show.

Arnon Parenti

You are also surrounded by angry ghosts when you are done

HUAAAANG

Wristband of Petrified Sustenance Preparation and cooking yield stale, mildly moldy, rock hard "food" that lasts ostensibly forever. Consumption could elicit directionless quiet sobbing. Weird side effect of produced relic dust being stable, but harder to work with. Dissociate's Clerk Cap Tiny improvement to efficiency of work done, but wearer will insist they don't work there to "customers." This could actually be a really fun item to make Heath wear. Shit. This could also be something to shove on Reese's head.

HUAAAANG

Cake? Sour grapes.

HUAAAANG

That would be really weird on Mason.

Angus Losier

For Brianna: Mirror-charm of shared transformation While wearing the charm, pick a target you perceive within range based on Acuity. Any change (physical, mental, magical, etc.) that affects you equally affects the target. They can resist, but your Resistance is subtracted from theirs. Damage, fear effects, other curses, poison, magical transformation - but also heals, buffs, cures. Only actual physical restraints (ropes, cuffs, etc.) don't apply. The only way to kill someone with this is to die yourself. For most people, that's a hard limit.

Animephoto

Ring of Reversal - On activation, wearers eidolons become physical and the wearer and all their other summons become ethereal (potentially gain eidolon buffs?), duration scales up based on total number of summons Cowl of Open Secrets - Target something that can see you, for a duration neither of you can see one another

Patron1kj6tz

I'm trying to think of something that gives a ridiculously amazing boost at the cost of the users hand being damaged, but I can't think of anything. Keep in mind that due to Will's class quirk the Tower doesn't view him as having a left hand so he would have to give up his right hand. Will: "seriously?" Loth:"I think the Tower is just fucking with you at this point." Reese:"Oh absolutely." Everyone:"When did you get here?" Reese:"Uhhh... about 4 seconds ago?"

Castleking 2005

Ring of cursed curses: you can apply curses to curses ex: a curse of slowness on a curse of death would keep the person alive longer. Has a lot of potential and I get to use the same word twice in the name

Castleking 2005

Curse of tunnel vision: the target of this curse loses the ability to move their eyes and stiffens their neck. It’s hyper specific and likely to be useful as well as incredibly annoying in a fight

Quazzy

omg no don't make Phantom Hand fleshy 😭

Castleking 2005

A cursed item that utilizes lifespan might work for will given that he has the aspect of the “IMMORTAL” serpent. Maybe something like amulet of quickened life, which lets him heal or haste using his future lifespan

Thomas Issa

Floor originally being for making enchanted and alchemical items, before the enchanting assistance system became ambient curses and the natural gardens and such became toxic

Thomas Issa

Lot more consumables offered on the floor, and lots of tools for crafting, particularly warped alchemy equipment

Castleking 2005

Ring of cursed “stat” : gives an incredible boost to a stat but comes with a curse. Ex: ring of cursed resistance, grants xxx resistance and curses the wearer with severe bleeding when injured. This is either a wonderful item to use in crafting if you separate the curse or you need to find one that has a bearable curse. The worse the curse the better the stat bonus

Castleking 2005

A curse of memetic hazard could be useful especially for Travis, he should probably get an enhancement to his memetic hazard from a couple items on this floor

Castleking 2005

If you remember the bone dagger that summoned bone monsters on kill, Loth has sacrificial bugs now. Any items that causes effects on kill would be incredibly useful. Dagger of exponential sacrifice: sacrifice a creature to double the effect of your next ability a maximum of (1) doubling allowed. The (1) would scale in phantom hand

Castleking 2005

Curse of drama: the cursed individual must say their abilities aloud to use them. This seems incredibly useful

Castleking 2005

Wand of edibility: inflicts the curse of edibility to be edible. This ring would save lives on nearly every floor it would make an interesting showpiece and sell for a good bit

Castleking 2005

Amulet of the evil twin: you can use charge to summon an evil twin, who may or may not try to kill you. Max amount to summon is 1 since the amulet is of twin not triplet.

Castleking 2005

Cloak of dread: an aura of fear surrounds you and attacks against fearful creatures are enhanced. The cloak could probably be manipulated by will in some interesting ways. My though is the aura would be counted as fear

Castleking 2005

Cursed ring of invisibility, the ring of visibility: many young scions of wealthy families will purchase this ring for the extra attention.

Castleking 2005

Curse of visibility, target something you can see and curse it to be visible. This would allow will to make miasma visible to others.

Castleking 2005

Boots of blazing speed: these boots grant immense speed but also are cursed to burn your feet off, the faster you go the worse it gets

Treeman4

Red Clawed Crown, all melee attacks apply a stacking bleed effect, at the price of 15% reduction to focus

Castleking 2005

Shield of arrow catching is an easy cursed item. It would force all projectiles to hit the shield by giving the a ring of accuracy effect to hit the shield.

Castleking 2005

A cursed coin that never leaves its owner. No longer do you need to search for a coin when you need to flip it with your hand of fate.

Castleking 2005

Curse of self destruction: when a creature cursed by this is killed, it explodes. With Williams curse seeds and the like this could become a chain reaction similar to voids set bonus

Castleking 2005

Curse of the sheep: impedes the cursed critical thinking skills. The idea is they become a follower, if used on monsters, Loths traps would become blenders that they monster would willingly walk into

Castleking 2005

Dagger of partial paralysis: inflicts random paralysis on some part of the targets body, the area of paralysis changes every x seconds. Would be incredibly annoying to adjust to

Castleking 2005

ring of the poker face: curses your face to be paralyzed. Might come in use during a political meeting.

Castleking 2005

Ring of non-regeneration: when this ring is worn, all healing effects are stored. The healing is applied when the ring is removed. Also grants a large amount of resistance.

Castleking 2005

A cursed ring of shrinking for loth so she can still get headpats.

Castleking 2005

Curse of hunger which would inflict hunger could kill cities easily with wills curse build would also be hard to combat for climbers since of food limitations

Castleking 2005

Curse of stickiness would be like those sticky traps for mice and it scales based on surface area, however it wouldn’t be effective on climbers since they are strong and small

Mondred

Adifagos amulet. Everytime the welder in cursed you can feed the curse to the amulet and have it make a curse seed that can be added to an item as a permanent echantement

HUAAAANG

Upon further thought, the moldy food soft sets with the everything tastes the same curse suggested elsewhere, and the Cap probably has even more ridiculous applications, considering Travis.

Stanisław Drewienkowski

Now here is an idea of a specific cursed item: [item] of Worthy Sacrifice- (0 charge) User sacrifices a chunk of their flesh (not off loadable by dmg chains, ignoring resistance), the greater piece sacrificed, the greater the effect. The sacrifice can be used immidietly or stored for later use. (I am torn if it should reset the content when switching users, otherwise it opens the possibility for unscrupulous to charge the item on a slaves and than use it themselves. Effect might be greater for more Miasma-Rich targets since the user doesnt invest any charge themselves) The user may choose any creature they can see, applying a powerful withering curse potency of which scales with amount sacrificed [relative to size of person whose body was sacrificed to stop abuse by giants maybe?]. The curse deals necrtotic damage untill disspeled, reducing the effectivnes of healing and natural regeneration, while sapping Acuity&Kinesthetics. Resisted by Focus. The idea being this is a Hail Mary, when you are out of charge, sacrificing a part of yourself for a chance to escape or at least take the target down with you. That might be impossible in this world since I don't know how you envisioned Towers involvement with such a thing outside of sacrifices, but I envisioned the lost part to be GONE gone, unable to be restored by conventional divine magic, like in case of Wills hand at temple of Andover. It could be interesting if someone disregarded sanctity of their body and just spammed it too with powerful regeneration ability, but that might be too OP, a portable nuke that withers away the target since you obliterated half of your torso a week ago and stored it as preparation. If it is semi-permanent it is more meaningful, "worthy" sacrifice for a powerful effect. Something only natural regeneration can restore. It could also be a good way to dispose of a hand that isn't able to serve any other purpose anymore (possibly due to damage), it is a chunk of flesh still, and only the amount matters. That relic might be too specific to carry tough unless the stats would be great, unless sacrifices would be kept when unatunned, than you can carry it around, and just equip it for at the right moment The description would need some better wording probably, so sorry if it's hard to interpret what I'm trying to convey.

austin kutz

For Will to become a proper wizard king, he personally needs to gain the ability to treat miasma as a terrain. If the world beyond the tower is a mindfuck of MC Escher geometry and endless miasma that'll come in handy

Vinohr

Maybe a brooch that converts curses received into damage taken and turns damage dealt into one of three curses: anti-heal/bleed, slowness/clumsiness, and dizziness/disorientation

Eisenhowitzer

I mean you can really mix and match a lot of curses with obscure sacrifices. Curse of Hope: The target loses the ability to believe they can fail. Sort of a fun variant on berserk status. Curse of Greed: Improve the loot table and also the difficulty of the target. Curse of Dyslexia: I think someone else said this one but there are a couple fun ways to approach it my thought was literally rearranging the digits in the targets stats (maybe 1009 focus becomes 9001, maybe 981 becomes 189) or letters/numbers in their skill descriptions temporarily altering them. Curse of autonomic failure: depends how bad you want it to get, target has manually breathe, blink, keep their heart beating, regulate their body chemistry, all that kind of thing. Most characters have ways around this now but it would still fulfill the goal of being annoying.

GryphonKnight

13th Floor Relic Ethereal Lantern Immune to physical attacks but also reduces healing by 50% Corporeal Censer Immune to non physical attacks but also reduces damage dealt by 50% Graveyard Wax If crafted into a candle, doubles regeneration of Charge, halves regeneration of health for living creatures Doubles regeneration of body, halves regeneration of Spirit for Non living creatures Ancestor incense If burned in a censer, Increases crafting, and enchantment, by one tier of rarity and adds an additional effect but requires ten times the ingredients and has a 1% chance of breaking each individual tool Blood God Chain If used with another relic (censer, lantern, etc.) emits a powerful blood aura attracting creatures that consume blood and physically repelling creatures that do not consume blood Fairy Ring If used with another relic (censer, lantern, etc.) emits a powerful herb aura, attracting creatures that do not consume blood and physically repelling creatures that do consume blood 🎬

GryphonKnight

Glasses of Nostalgia After scoring a critical hit, copy that enemy damage in the left lenses After taking a critical hit, copy that damage to the wearer to the right lenses If both lenses are charged, trigger to add bonus damage equal to the stored enemy damage but suffer damage equal to the stored wearer damage 🎬

GryphonKnight

Not my idea Bagpipes of Invisibility

ParadoxFox

Trippy Cameraman: Randomly alters vision every few seconds (e.g. vision turns upside down, becomes top down, only sees your own face, enemies attacks get censored (like literal black censorship boxes), vision lags slightly)

ParadoxFox

Some weapon with a sound curse: Weapon screams anytime it attacks, loudness scales with how much damage it’s about to do

ParadoxFox

Catch-22 type items like, ranged attacks are empowered but range is diminished by 500%

ParadoxFox

Cloak of social anxiety: If more than 3 people look at you at the same time, you are paralyzed

ParadoxFox

Something that does minor damage to enemies but gives them a shield of temporary HP as well. Might synergize well shield breaking items.

Ethan B.

Maybe a consumable one like the snake one Will currently has but instead the alligator that lures people towards it. Maybe a piece of gear that makes those who would normally feel threatened by the user slowly based off focus lose said fear and make stupid mistakes.

alex godbeer

Boots of cursed jumping increase your jump height by a 1000% but also increase your fall damage by a 1000%

Farxzay

Curse of Whimsy: You find everything absolutely hilarious, and can hardly stop laughing. Shade Cloak: Stealth abilities now make you incorporeal, but you take damage from detection. Scepter of Decay: Healing abilities cause the target to rapidly decay, for an amount of damage equal to the amount of healing they would have received. Amulet of Regrowth: Decay effects cast on you are converted into healing, and your decay effects cause vegetation to grow.

Raymond Doherty

Cloak of the Cursed Bird-Mother Curses that the wearer contracts are concentrated and mixed in the belly. Spend charge to projectile vomit the curse concoction Caterpillar Boots Boots that have skittering bug legs on the sides and bottom. Wearer doesn’t need to move their legs to walk, can also walk up walls and stuff

alex godbeer

Aura of the beggar charges used is doubled if you can't pay for an ability uses it the take it of someone around you

Jormungandr181

Use hammer of god with that and it’s a sonic attack

AG

Stats sacrifice ring: basically you sacrifice some points in one stat to raise another by half as much rounded up, like sacrifice 11 points of focus for 6 points of strength and it lasts until you take off the ring. Extra stat points added by relics can’t be affected and moved around by this ring.

Levi

Poverty relic suggestion: Cursed Beat Stick. Each time an enemy is stuck their depth perception is slightly altered and they gain nausea. Affects are compounding. A nice little non lethal relic Will can use to beat the shit out of people until they're punching air and vomiting uncontrollably

David Weller

Curse of Tongues: The cursed can communicate with anyone regardless of understanding, willingness and distance. Tongues will begin to sprout from the cursed body. Mitigated by Resilience. If the person becomes consumed by tongues, they become some kind of tongue monster. Either play it as a sonic-based monster or a devourer-based monster. Your choice. I also like the idea that the cursed becomes some kind of hive-mind and speaks as one. Curse of All-Seeing: The cursed is omniscient at all times. Mitigated by focus. When the cursed becomes consumed by madness from being able to see everything, they will tear their own eyes out. This does not stop the curse. They will go comatose and their body will turn into a giant eye monster. When the eye opens, the person is completely consumed by the curse. Mask of the Opera (head-piece): Enhances rogue-based abilities. Allows the user to STAB incorporeal creatures. Every time the wearer stabs an incorporeal creature, the wearer becomes slightly disfigured under their mask. 10 charge: a chandelier drops on an unsuspecting victim. Based on acuity. The Finger-lactory (ring): Enhanced necromancer-based abilities. 400 charge (some astronomically high amount that will use most of a proper focus-based necromancer's total charge): The wearer's finger detaches and becomes a soul anchor. If the body dies, the wearer's soul will move to the finger where the body will slowly regrow. Based on focus. Warning: The wearer may become undead (May explain how Ghoul became undead and still be a lord). Diadem of Songs: Enhanced nuker-based abilities. The wearer may use MAGIC against incorporeal creatures. Each time the wearer uses magic in this way, the wearer hears a pleasant song for thirty seconds. Cacophony: when the user hears ten songs at once, a discord of haunting melodies will consume the wearers' thoughts for five minutes. 5 charge: transfer a song to a target. Based on focus. (Yes, you can give a target Cacophony). The ghostly objects: A group of items made for each class arch-type that makes each wearer incorporeal and requires charge to interact with the real world. But each item is cursed. The longer the wearer uses the item, the more they prefer being incorporeal. They don't feel hunger, thirst or tiredness. When the curse consumes them, they become ghosts. Example - The Haunt-Hunt Pants: Enhanced ranger-based abilities. The wearer becomes incorporeal. Incorporeal creatures appear life-like. The wearer may interact with and be acted upon by incorporeal creatures. 1 charge: interact with the Other World for one second.

Quazzy

1. A cursed item that transfers damage dealt to nearby creatures to the user. Generally pretty bad, even for tanks, since your enemies would just walk into melee, but on Brianna they could defend an entire Stronghold against a hit. 2. When the user is cursed, so are nearby creatures. If Brianna counts as multiple creatures for a curse, she can then make a line of clones to transport curses long distances, or surround an enemy to hit them with a single curse several times- potentially a *lot* of times, if the curses bounce between her clones multiple times and amplify. If a curse impacts *all* of Brianna, then suddenly she can expand the reach of the Rotwitch ludicrous distances and potentially across floors- with the natural caveat of cursing her main body in the process, and probably destroying the artifact on account of how the Rotwitch's ability seems to work.

Quazzy

Is it sustainable? No. Does someone who's endured as much as Brianna has deserve a bit of self-sacrificial badassery? Heck yeah!

Quazzy

Also, like, combine it with an effect or ally that can cure the curse on Brianna real quick before it causes too much damage.

Jk

Soft set: Swamp Beacon Amulet: 20% audiovisual dampening when trying to hide 50% audiovisual enhancement when trying to attract attention 20 charge: gain a massive temporary stat boost at the cost of mentally broadcasting your location to every monster and climber for 10 miles Boots of Unobtrusivity: You leave no trace or tracks. You begin to fade from people’s minds after a few minutes. detection/scrying magic no longer work on you/terrain you’re standing on Essentially the boots negate the negative effect of the amulet, turning it into a straight buff

RAQN

Awkward Axis: Toggleable. You and a target are afflicted with a curse that reverses the direction of all actions and abilities. (Like in video games where left becomes right and etc. Includes your "camera" (eyeballs)) Prophetic Paranoia: Become afflicted with a curse that makes you more paranoid. Things that you are paranoid about are more likely to happen. Point for Point: Lose an amount of stats for a duration to afflict a target with the same penalty. Quiet and Disquieting: Gain a terror radius that scales with Kinesthetics and audiovisual reduction. Monkey's Paw: That is all. Inverse Domain: Effects of abilities are reversed in the region. Healing becomes harmful and vice versa. Two Bits: The target is cursed to have their hair fall out. (Actually interesting for creatures reliant on keratin for protection) Corrupt Copper: Deals damage on hit unless the target owns gold, which it then steals instead. Devil's Bargain: Variable Charge: Sacrifice a portion of your free will. Gain power based on what is lost. ???: Hand-based abilities gain a random upgrade while worn. Become paralyzed in both arms. Fool's Gold: Lose exp while equipped.

雨宿りAma yadori

Part of the Miasma from kills goes towards a growing stat increase (to a point), however the stat increase fades over time without kills, becoming an area debuff as it becomes negative. Famous among local climbers as being actually cursed to kill its wearer, because one of the protocurses or local monsters it imitates steals the relics looser Miasma accelerating the process.

Levi

Coin of unholy luck: When flipped the coin always lands on the opposite side called out. The owner of this coin constantly loses health / or charge when the coin is not in their possession. Ownership can only be transferred via theft, death, or the results of a coin flip

Levi

1. Trick stooge into coin toss 2. Lose ownership of the coin 3. Yeet coin 4. ??? (Profit?)

Andrew Logan

Holly sword of light. A sword that has a sickly pale glow that inflicts curses and a holy poison that burns blood. You could also make it creepy to look at but in a weird way and make it have an eye but it hates being seen moving or blinking stays shut.

Patron1kj6tz

Gu Jar (off-hand) +stats Converts all ability damage types to poison. Increases poison damage you deal, scales with (stat). Whenever you deal poison damage your blood gains a small amount of toxicity and you gain an equivalent amount of poison resistance that remains until this relic is unequipped. -unsaid in description is that blood starts turning green/dark-green/black as the users blood becomes more poisonous with dark veins being noticeable on the users skin. -remove the built in poison damage increase and make that part of a soft-set? Gu Jar (off-hand) Version 2 (to better fit actual Gu) +stats All minions you control deal a small amount of poison damage, scales with (stat). Whenever a minion dies the bonus damage increases until combat ends. -unsaid in description is that minions gain sickly green color that spreads and becomes more vibrant as the effect increases. Other idea -change name of first relic and have it synergize with Loth's draconic domain such that her minions doing damage counts as her doing damage (if that isn't already the case) -add a relic, domain upgrade, or some other shenanigans (like Zodiac keeping monsters stunlocked to keep stars connected or Akul using restrained kaiju to prevent spawns on the city) that manipulates the qualifiers for start/end of "combat" and she could gain a infinite poison damage combo in her domain (the tower would presumably put a soft-cap or a hard-cap on the bonus damage eventually)

Street Cat Restoration Project

Maybe a cursed artifact that grants "become ethereal" but at the cost of losing sense of self or maybe loss of emotion. Basically it gives you ghost body but in turn you feel dead and empty, like a ghost.

Levi

A sentient dagger that gives a great bonus to stealth and invisibility but screams whenever someone holds it

ArchonUmbra

Gorget of Unbreathing: A gorget shaped like a pair of hands clutched around the wearers throat. When equipped stops everything from breathing in a radius around the wearer. The wearer is not excluded from this effect.

aaa bbb

Mask of the unwanted. Others don't want you. Side effects: you'll have a growing desire to be wanted. The longer you wear it the stronger the effects. At first it's just makes you less likely to get attacked (why attack something you don't want?). As it grows, you become harder to see, people/ creatures start unconsciously avoid noticing you. Gravity, light, miasma? stops "wanting" you. And maybe... With enough time even the tower loose it's grip on you.

aaa bbb

Help of the ungrateful. Gloves. Turn any healing from the user to poison. You can only remove at dawn.

Malcolm Tent

Pound of Cure: converts the body into a cauldron that refines poison into healing potion that flows through the blood stream and can be extracted directly from the veins. Scales on Resistance, pain from poison damage triples.
