*EXCORCISED HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

Oh Ho Ho -- new character alert! And WHAT a new character he is! This episode set was INTENSE and the most action-packed we've had in a LONG time...maybe in the whole series!?

Things are finally heating up for Natsume now that the main Exorcist Clan in the area is getting involved, but I have theories and a LOT of apprehension for our Natsume for the future of the series, now!

（sorry for using the translator）Finally, our matoba-san makes an appearance🤣I was wondering if you noticed that in the gathering of Conjurers story in the second season of the anime (the third volume of the manga), there are some differences between the manga and the anime (S3E6-7as well, as you'll find out as you read the manga) .In Natsume's first entry into the meeting place, anime doesn't show what the two yokais that blocked his path were, but in the manga it's very clearly shown that the two yokais were from matoba's clan. And they said that their master， matoba，also came to the meeting because he wanted to see the new shikigami that Natori had collected.Maybe the anime production team didn't know how the story was going to develop at that time and thus omitted some seemingly unrelated lines. Similarly, at the time of the production of season 3 the production team may not have known how matoba's characters would develop and thus made some adaptations to the manga, resulting in some biased impressions of matoba's character. Not saying he’s doing nothing wrong hahaha，but he did stop his subordinate from wading into the forest to protect them，and only took Nanase, who was more powerful than the average henchman, with him. Also, as you can see, the author is very good at using some narrative trickery. For example, when Natsume asks matoba why are you collecting the blood of yokai, he responds in a way that would lead the reader to believe that it is indeed he who is collecting the blood. There are many other scenes that have similar intentional misdirection of the reader, and I was always thinking that Midorikawa-sensei must also be very good at drawing suspenseful deduction works if she ever does. Trying so hard not to mention anything that could be a spoiler！🤣
