Since an omelette seemed a little too...."basic," (come on, Kabru - get with it!) I decided to try another recipe from Episode 16 - that was definitely a little more tedious than I originally planned! And we're making another sauce...hoo buddy! Let's see how this goes!

NOTE: Sauce recipe from cookinganddrinking.org!

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

Sweet potatoes are a great substitute for pumpkin! I don’t peel, them… I eat everything potato! I do like barley in a beef soup. It kinda stretches it. Found a nice recipe for it! https://youtu.be/l2i1w3w5bLE?si=Gyl1tR6j3QA0ATbM Separating the egg yolks, you did a great job! You can also use your hands! https://youtube.com/shorts/UvfRk0KrGOw?si=_Pf0szbYYtCt-Eaq Hmmm, the sprouts…. They are very delicate, I’m glad they turned out well. For root vegetables, you can par boil them, cook about half way and then pan fry. It cooks much faster! For the salt, I shake it in my hand first, then put in the dish. Just in case we have a salt accident! Well, I think you did a great job with your dish! It may have been bland, but that is what chili crisp is for! Hell, just give me white rice and chili crisp and I’m happy, nothing else needed but a fried egg helps! I agree, throw a fried egg on that hash and you got a great breakfast! I love hollandaise sauce! Instead of vinegar, lemon juice! Now here is an egg recipe that we have every once in a while and it is easy. Apparently it’s a bit of a thing on tik tok right now for some reason. Steamed eggs! This makes an easy and tasty meal for any time. https://youtu.be/oF-KJt-2p2I?si=WL13y1-h0Iwdwzrb This cooking session brought a much needed smile to my face. I’m sorry to report that we lost our girl rabbit this morning. It was expected and we were prepared, but it’s still hard to loose a pet. She was 12 years and a wonderful loving bunny. Now we only have one elderly rabbit left. So, I did get a nice chuckle out of your kitchen adventures. Thank you! And kiss your dogs for us! 🐶

I do love the peels on things! And barley in beef soup! Yes! I think my grandmother used to put barley in her beef stew as well! Now that you reminded me of it... Thank you for the comment and kind words - I've really gotten into putting sprouts into things! And yes, I had leftovers the next day and had fun trying different "sauces" with them, haha!! And fried egg and hash make for a great breakfast, indeed! ^^ Ooohh, I hadn't thought of the Hollandaise with lemon! And steamed eggs - if it's like a "poached" egg, I'm not sure it'd be up my alley, but I appreciate the link! I'm so sorry about your rabbit - 12 years! That is a LONG and healthy life for a rabbit, I feel! She sounds lovely and I'm sorry you all have lost her, so I am glad that my video helped! And I will definitely give Ruby and Huckleberry an extra head pat for you all! Thank you for the comment and kind words!
