 *MAGICAL HEADPHONE WARNING*

This movie was SO FUN! I walked in with ZERO knowledge of this movie and it was such a wild and crazy ride that was so enjoyable! Thank you, Sierra, for recommending this film - it was a great time! I hope you all are ready for the zaniness!

NOTE: There may be a blip of black screen before the start of the reaction from editing; apologies for that! Enjoy the movie reaction!

Loved the reaction and discussion! I have never seen this before, so this was a lovely surprise. Had no idea it would be a reverse isekai, either! While watching I had some additional theories e.g. who was whom and in what timeline – including Aki being some version of Nene. 😂 Another, while I tried to deal with potential kitty death, was that now that Bihaku had been revived in the ‘mundane’ world, this is where the kitty would have to stay. 😂I'm glad the film did not go down those avenues. I’m not sure how much you cut out of looking at the VAs, but beyond all the ones you noted there were even more Psycho-Pass connections: Takeo was done by Sakurai (Shogo/Hinakawa); Oyone was done by Takako Honda – who voiced Frederica! Perfect casting in my eyes, obviously my favourite character. 🥰 Visually, I really enjoyed this, especially the frequent use of pastels. The touch of black in Yoyo’s hair gave me Vash vibes. “Wishing good things for everyone.” The scene with the wishes was really sweet. Thank you to Sierra for this commission! 🥰 Looking forward to next week! 💙

The first 10 minutes of this was wild! It looks like a blast! The reverse isekai reminds me slightly of Suzume, how the cat creature could open doors to our world and enter it. The cat creature in this movie though - it looks like something right out of Soul Eater, and it is precious, and I love it!!! <3 Will be back once more after I end up seeing the whole thing with the family in a few weeks, but I'm so happy to have found this, thanks Sierra!

RIGHT?! I really loved this film and all the creativity with it! And yesssss, oh, now that you mention it - I can SO see the Suzume comparison! but YES, the cat looks like a Soul Eater character, indeed! Thank you for the comment and kind words so far! :D

Thank you so much for the comment and kind words! Honestly, I wouldn't have seen this otherwise, so I am very thankful for the commission! Man, that potential cat death was ROUGH -- I was not expecting that and am glad we didn't have to deal with that as well in the long run! Okay, so I DID see a few of the Psycho-pass VA's in this as well but didn't dwell on it in the discussion haha, but that is so fun to see VA's cross over to other shows and movies together! Ooohhhhhhhhhh OH MY GOD - how did I NOT make the Vash Maximum comparison!?! That HAS to be a reference, honestly! But I agree, I thought the colors and animation were so vibrant and fun! And it was overall such a fun movie to watch! Yes, Sierra picked a great one! I'm so excited for the films to come in April! <3

"Hoi!" That never failed to bring a smile to my face! The VA for Yoyo was great! Finished the rest of the movie last night and while there were a few times I was feeling a little disconnected from it - I would have enjoyed seeing more of the witch world and the younger sister Nene (the sisters have a FMAB thing going there with Yoyo being the "big" sister) and the cursed Frog than what we get in the first 10 minutes. The break-out song from Yoyo, the way the magic looks and works, and seeing the main characters interact were great. The big robot didn't enthrall me as a big threat, kinda similar to One Piece Film Red's final villain as a big, 3D-and-not-intimidating parade float. Bihaku the cat won the most engaging part of the movie when his life was on the line, makes me wonder if cat CPR is a thing! Pound puppies! Yes, kid movies back then were like we're going to teach you about love and attachment, then you WILL learn about sadness and death! But don't forget to buy the toys! Off-topic - didn't want to bother you in PM, just forgot to mention if you end up needing a file for a movie I commission, don't hesitate to ask!

Hahaha! I agree about the disconnection - this movie definitely left me wanting to see MORE for sure! And yesssss, I can totally see the FMAB connection as well! "The Cursed Frog" - Dying! Yes, I love the animation and YES, Cat CPR is a thing - I went to a college vet program where they did an exercise on it - it also looks terrifying hahaha! And yes, you better believe I had all the pound puppy toys! If you get a chance to send me a link in the DM's to a file of your movie, that would honestly be amazing! Thank you for letting me know that! :)
