*SAKE-DRENCHED HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

We FINALLY meet the magenta-haired bassist from the OP and I am ENTHRALLED with her character and dynamic with Bocchi so far!

This episode was HILARIOUS and definitely showed the growth our sweet bean has made so far in the series at the halfway point! I just love it!

my personal favorite character has finally appeared!! This episode was really great for Bocchi's growth, being able to play on the street and sell the tickets with the help of a slightly questionable mentor. The Bassist is a really fun character and she even has a spinoff manga that goes a bit more in depth into her character. Can't wait for the next reaction!

No Spoilers! Only music! I absolutely love the music in this show, so I'll be listing the songs we hear (only after we hear them, don't worry!), in case anyone wants to check out the music on their favorite streaming platforms. At the very start of this episode, we get another one of Bocchi's mini-songs in the form of "Guitar wa Tomodachi". We also get Bocchi playing an unnamed song with the drunk bassist, but I won't be listing that since, well, it's unnamed lol. Kessoku Band: OP: "Seishun Complex" ( 青春コンプレックス, lit. "Youth Complex" ) - Kessoku Band, sung by Kita ED1 (ep 1-3): "Distortion!!" - Kessoku Band, sung by Kita ED2 (ep 4-?): "Karakara" ( カラカラ, lit. "Clatter" ) - Kessoku Band, sung by Ryo Yamada EP5: "Guitar, Loneliness and Blue Planet" ( ギターと孤独と蒼い惑星[ホシ] ) - Kessoku Band, sung by Kita Other Bands: EP2: "8-gatsu o Yubiori Kazoeru Kimi to Machi de Deaeru Kakuritsu ni Tsuite" ( 8月を指折り数える君と町で出逢える確率について, lit. "About the Odds of meeting you in town, counting the days of August") - Sung by Alexandrism. Actually by Fuzzy Logic EP3: "Dakishime Magic" ( 抱きしめMagic, lit "Hug Magic") - by AKORINGO Bocchi's mini-songs: EP1: "Oshiire yori Ai o Komete" ( 押入れより愛をこめて, lit. "With love from the closet") EP2: "Cocktail no Uta" ( カクテルの唄, lit. "Cocktail Song") EP2: "Kaze Hike no Uta" ( 風邪ひけの唄, lit. "Song for catching a cold") EP3: "Double Kokurekishi Bocchi Hikigatari Version" ( ダブル黒歴史ぼっち弾き語りversion, "Double Dark Past, Bocchi Acoustic Version" ) EP3: "Sono Hi Haitta Shinjin yori Tsukaenai Dame Baito no Elegy" ( その日入った新人より使えないダメバイトのエレジー, "The Elegy of a Part-Time Worker Who Lost Her Identify to the Just-Arrived Newbie") EP6: "Guitar wa Tomodachi" ( ギターは友達, lit. "Guitar is my friend" )

Any one mentioned the relevance of Jimihens name? or did it already click for Romania?

Ep. 6 - Bochhi on the Rocks Wait, this is not the show we signed up for! Oh no, poor Bocchi, you aren't ready to be mixed with booze! Good for her resisting temptations, even if it's through a depressing, downward dive into her future self's life of loneliness. I loved this episode! The animation, humor, character interactions, the music and impromptu street performance, I was living for it all! I agree the parents do seem a bit yin/yang now that you point it out! Bochhi does seem to take more after her father when it comes to some of her introvert tendencies. And the explanation of why the bassist's personality is something that introverts find themselves attracted to was interesting to hear. Also, we got a bit of Thors this episode - along the lines of "there are no enemies here." I had a feeling you'd catch it too, and you did! 😊 A Ryou cosplay sounds so fun, great choice! Hope it's a good convention!

Thanks for the comment! I can't read because of the mods flagging it but thanks for the support!

The Happiness Spiral is so relatable but makes me want to give her the biggest hug! Thanks for the comment!

I really love how much Bocchi has grown so far and how she was able to navigate a public space as she did, especially with how hesitant she was back in Episode 2 at the bar initially! I love the bassist and that's so cool about a spinoff manga with her!! I love that! Thank you for the comment, the kind words, and the information!

Thank you for all the information on the music - it's so good! I appreciate you listing all of these songs for everyone to check out - that's awesome! The fact that the song with Bocchi and the bassist is unnamed is really funny! :) Thank you for the comment and info and kind words!!

Bocchi really needs to stay AWAY from the booze for her own safety! I’m glad she realizes that it’s not for her. GOOD. This episode was soooo good! Like you said, all these combined elements made for such a fantastic ride this week! I just love the bassist and her unique personality and this episode and discussion makes me want to know more about the dad! I SO loved the tie to Vinland Saga! Yessss!! And thank you! The convention was so much fun! I’ll have a video about it next week on Patreon and show the Ryo cosplay there! 😀Thank you for the comment and the kind words! I can’t wait for episode 7!

Oh, I didn't think it was a spoiler, more just an Easter egg? But its cool if the mods are iffy on it.
