*MARTYRED HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

Vash and his crew have decided to call Knives to them to battle before the Fleet arrives -- but they have to get through Legato first, and he is NOT going down without a self-righteous fight! There is a LOT to theorize about after this episode, so let's get into it!

Loved the reaction and discussion! A stunning (and relatable) thumbnail! 🥰💙 Also, I had to take so many crying-with-laughter breaks in this one: from “We WILL have skateboarding and you WILL watch” to “Vash of Latter-day Saints” to “That man has never topped a thing in his life - except his own misery” to Vegan!Legato. 🤣🤣 Loved Legato getting that whole entire monologue that felt more like a soliloquy, as well as the OST in that scene, just so beautifully put together! And the work of Legato’s VA was amazing! 💙 I also loved how they lingered within that whole scene and the building of Vash’s decision to pull the trigger. I had the same reactions to that sequence, just had me on tenterhooks. 😭 I love that it was Wolfwood’s condition that was what made Vash commit to his decision. And then! The fact that Knives was the one who stopped it?! I also love. Knives built the conditions that brought Vash to that precipice, to think of the amount of suffering and fear it took for Vash to get to that point and then have Knives take Vash’s agency both as an expression of control AND salvation… They understand the material. 😭 Looking forward to the next episode! ❤️

I wasn’t expecting the skateboard/sledding fight sequence but I’m here for it! Ended up being really fun! One thing I’ve never found fault with this series is their excellent camera work and fight sequences 😁 You’re absolutely right about Vash being a saint for asking Legato to help him understand Knives. Like, the sheer audacity of this man to accuse Vash of not thinking of Knives enough when Knives is the cause of at least 95% of Vash’s problems. -.- And how this came up just after we talked about how Knives probs doesn’t even know what the plants want and is just doing all this because that’s what he wants. Man has lived for 150 years and managed to avoid gaining a single smidge of empathy. Vash’s empathy may have blind spots, but at least he’s has it and uses it! Sorry just had to get that rant off my chest 😅 I still enjoy hearing you analyze and compare the different versions of Trigun. It’s very interesting seeing just what they’ve decided to keep or discard or rearrange. I was pretty surprised that Nai saved Legato, since I assumed Nai wouldn’t really care what happened to him. But the idea of him still wanting to use Legato, and not wanting to give him what he really wants just on principle, is very fitting for Nai! Thanks for the video! Looking forward to the next episode!

Hahaha, thank you so much for the comment and kind words and I’m so happy you found the jokes in the reaction funny - I was having a blast with this episode! Vash of Latter-Day Saints! 😛 Legato gets to have his flowers and the OST just compliments the scene so well; I can’t wait to watch it all again and in the English dub! The fact that it was Wolfwood about to die that drives Vash to the edge; I didn’t want him to pull the trigger, but dang, my shipper heart was going wild at this! And Knivessss and that’s a great point about him taking Vash’s agency in that moment as both control and Salvation?! So wild! Yes, so excited to see where we go to from here! 😀<3

The 90’s kid in me absolutely loves the skateboard/sled fight! Yes, the camera work and fight sequences have been consistently so fun in this series! Yessss, that is so true about Knives and Vash – he is such a huge person for that. That’s such a great point about Vash’s empathy! Rant valid and accepted!! I really love the adaptation and how many versions we have to compare and contrast - it’s a lot of fun! And yeah, Nai saving Legato was so wild – but yes, fitting because he could still use him and doesn’t want to throw away any potential chess pieces. Thank you for the comment and kind words! I can’t wait for what’s next!
